An excellent inexpensive option for us. It's an old strip motel, but has been rehabbed to be clean and comfortable budget stay. Nice restaurants drivable distances. Don't count on disc tv though. THis part of Maine doesn't have good coverage, but if you need a place in Western Maine/Farmington area, this is fine.

Convenience to town and comfortable bed and pillows....clean room. However, dark area to park and no outside light...had to walk aways to get to room. Very dated and dim lighting. Had to go to office for enough towels...told us continental b'fast in morning. But in morning we discovered shower had no curtain, no bathmat, and impossible to open plastic pouch of shampoo. No staff at office, door was locked, so no continental breakfast available!

Very good
They were very awesome. I lost my father. They commended with me. Cause I wasn't able to get there before they left for the evening. So they set it up so that way. I could throw in after hours. So I really give a good review for this company in this hotel.

We ended up here by default when out car broke down but I was very happy with our stay. Our room was nice and clean and the staff were very nice and helpful and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Not the best place we have stayed
But not the worst by far. The place was comfortable! It definitely needs some up grades but okay for an older motel. The internet comes and goes. The breakfast was nil!

It was clear that there is a lack of staff. I sometimes expect that when arriving late an office might be closed. To that end we purposely arrived mid afternoon to a closed office. The room was available and clean, so in those respects we are quite satisfied with Mount Blue Motel. We had hoped to see staff present by the time we left at 8 am but did not.

Smaller than expected. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff was in and out without notice so the hours the office was opened varied. We did not get a room clean daily and our bedding was never washed.

great spot to crash in Farmington
Good place to crash, shower worked well, got upgraded to a bigger room, no issues with late check in. Friendly staff in the morning. Good value for the money

The hotel is certainly dated, which is both a blessing and a detraction. If someone is looking for modern, roomy, level and well laid out, this place is not for you. On the other hand, it is a reminder of how hotels used to be. The place serves it's purpose and has what is needed to provide a place to sleep, shower, and retreat from outdoor activities. The breakfast nook opens too late (8am) for me. Then again, Dunkin's is only a half mile away! The staff splits time between two properties so immediate face to face is not always possible. Still, it works, in an "old Maine" way.

The checking in process was very efficient and welcoming, The staff person was very pleasant and professional. We enjoyed our stay. The one suggestion I would make is to have some chairs outside where one could sit and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

Very nice rooms, newly renovated. Almost no personnel on site. Had to call if anything was needed. Very prompt in taking care of you from off site.

we were the only one staying at this property and the staff were not there most of the time. We only had one breakfast one out of 3 days. The towels and linens are too worn and faded.

Office closed because of lack of staff when we arrived. Breakfast was supposed to be included but door locked so didn’t get breakfast even though they confirmed the hours it was available the night before. The one person on staff told us she was running back and forth between two hotels. Even thought a budget hotel, wouldn’t recommend.

The room was not as expected, no remote for tv, beds damp from ?? Office closed and no one there late as well as closed in the AM although a continental breakfast was advertised as included but not provided. Had to drop room key in key drop to checkout. Not very pleased!

Looks just like the photo. Employee was nice
It’s about 45-50 from sugarloaf and an hour from Sunday river. The place is in average condition for a cheap motel. Not nice but not dirty. Whatever. I’ve stayed here twice and would again. It’s clean and works for me, a cheapskate who’s not wanting to do much besides shower and sleep at my accommodations. I wish the room had a microwave.

We stayed here the night before a ski day. We checked in late to our room. The host left us a note that they were gone for the night and left our room unlocked for us. The bathroom and sheets were nice and clean. The carpet is old and the room is a bit dated. I thought there was breakfast but maybe it opened after we left at 6:45 am to head to the mountain. We would stay there again. The price was right, it was safe and clean enough. Thanks!
