The hotel was more of a villa. Great toiletries that were luxurious. The property was one of a kind and the room had 2 large bedrooms when we were expecting just one.

Un spot hors du commun, mais gare aux surprises…
Perché au dessus des étendues de vignes, MiaClara Relais est un endroit idyllique et plein de charme ! Un panorama hors du commun, un décor de rêve et une belle chambre. Tout est pour plaire ! Mais attention aux surprises tout de même… 1. Notre arrivée était possible à partir de 15h, mais nous avons dû patienter sur place jusqu’à 16h avant d’avoir les clés, car la chambre n’était pas prête. 2. Nous avons dîné sur place, le soir, car le site propose une prestation de restaurant avec un menu unique, réalisé par les propriétaires du lieu. Tout était très bon ! Mais sachez quand même que le prix de ce menu est de 55€ par personne (pas indiqué avant), et que le gentil verre de pétillant qui vous sera servi en guise d’apéritif vous sera facturé à la sortie ! 3. Enfin, au moment d’aller se coucher, c’est la douche froide : tout est très beau, mais l’isolation phonique est inexistante ! Nous entendions tout ce qui se passait en cuisine (mur latéral), et la vie intime des voisins du dessus n’avait plus de secret pour nous (passages au WC, déplacements, etc…). Pour finir sur une bonne note : vous pourrez profiter d’un super jaccuzzi avec vue, et le propriétaire vous offre une bouteille de vin à la sortie, issue de sa propre production. Tout aurait pu être parfait, mais au regard du coût de la chambre et des services, nous aurions aimé n’avoir pas grand chose à redire… Merci quand même pour ce séjour.

Lovely and quiet, very good quality place to stay in the area as a couple. Paolo is good host who does as he should, everything possible for you to stay onsite. The wines are very good and dinner is good, however there are a lot of good options all around the area. An excellent experience! Thank you!

Friendly staff, unique authentic amd romantic stay
Extremely positive experience in all ways. The room was cool and clean. Monica and her family was very friendly and service minded. Made us feel at home. Dinner and breakfast is a must! The location in the middle of the vineyard was beautiful and romantic. We recommend a wine tour with tasting. Francesco the enologist was amazing. Thanks for this time. We will be back again.

We loved MiaClara Relais. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff, the owners and their daughter were top notch and super friendly. We loved the breakfast every morning but the wine pairing dinner was FABULOUS. Would love to come back and stay longer!

Waren zum zweiten Mal hier. Sehr schönes Anwesen mit tollem Blick auf die umliegenden Weinberge. Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und man bekommt auf Wunsch auch Eiergerichte. Service war diesmal chaotisch. Am ersten Morgen wurde das Zimmer nicht gemacht, weil die Vormieter den Schlüssel mitgenommen hatten - das ganze natürlich erst auf Nachfrage warum nichts gemacht wurde erklärt. Die Heizung in unserem Zimmer hat fast nicht funktioniert, ca. 5% des Boden waren beheizt und das ganze Zimmer im November kalt. 5 Minuten vor der offiziellen Frühstückszeit (8:30h) wurden wir auch sehr bestimmt wieder auf das Zimmer geschickt, um nach 5 Minuten wieder kommen zu dürfen.

Fantastisk beliggende hotel. Rolige omgivelser med enestående udsigt til vinmarker. Familiedrevet, og man oplever fra start til slut vilje og evne til at opfylde alle ønsker og behov på en særdeles venlig måde. Stort værelse med dejlig seng og siddegruppe, badeværelset stort og med alle faciliteter. Alt fremtræder nyt og moderne og særdeles velholdt. Amazing place with amazing rooms and staff
Absolutely a fantastic place to visit. The nicest staff - very attentive. The breakfast was amazing individual. You will rarely see more cosy rooms. The wine tasting was great and the sommelier competent. I cannot praise this resort/hotel enough. We will definately come back when the pool is finished. A stay to remember.

Amazing location with fantastic people taking care of you like you are family. Hands on from owners and staff, making sure you are well taken care of. Breakfast was ridiculous and extremely well presented. It is part of the winery so highly recommend the wine tasting. Go for the 7 types tasting and trust me, it's more than 7...

The stay at MiaClara was very pleasant. Location in the middle of the vineyards, good quality room, nice breakfast and beautiful hospitality from owners and everybody who work there. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The owner made us a simple yet very delicious dinner when we didn't feel like going out. The wine they produce is great and they also provide tours and tasting to their guests. I could go on and on about MiaClara, but if you are in the Piedmont area, I strongly recommend stay there

Schöne Unterkunft mit negativem Beigeschmack
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen. Inmitten von Weinbergen, in der Nähe zu Alba. Sehr saubere und mit viel Liebe geführtes "Hotel". Sehr schöne Zimmer. Hilfsbereites und nettes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Negative Punkte: schlechte WLAN-Verbindung. Leider nicht empfehlen, können wir die Weindegustation in der Unterkunft. Für 40 Euro pro Person, welche wir trotz Weinkauf in Höhe von EUR 400.00 nicht angerechnet bekamen. Bei der Buchung wurden wir zudem nicht auf den Preis hingewiesen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Weingütern finden wir das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht gut und schlichtweg enttäuschend. Zumal uns bei anderen renommierten Weinkellereien beim Weinkauf der Buchungspreis angerechnet wurde. Unser Anliegen wurde von der Unterkunft zwar zur Kenntnis genommen, jedoch kam keinerlei Entgegenkommen. Dieses Verhalten passt leider nicht zum Gastgeberkonzept. Es hat bei uns den Nachgeschmack des "wir haben es nicht nötig" Verhaltens hinterlassen. Sehr schade und einfach nur enttäuschend.

Thank you for the review! We hope to see you again at MiaClara Relais. Regarding the Wine Tasting Experience, we have 3 different tastings (3 wines tasting, 4 wines tasting and 7 wines tasting). The list of the tastings are in the rooms and on our website as well, we are sorry you didn't know the prices when you reserved the full tasting. There are different prices for them, the Top Cru tasting with Barolo and Barbaresco included costs €40,00 per person and last about 2 hours with the guided private tour in the cellar with the presence of the wine maker Paolo. Beautiful refined rooms in converted winery buildings. Excellent bed linen and toiletries. Family wines available to taste and buy. No dinner, but restaurants in Alba (4km) or the nearby village (a stiff 1.5km walk)

it is our second stay here and we throughly enjoyed it. We thought last year was fantastic, but this second time it was even better. The hard product is still of a high quality, but the little touches have been improved to a very very high standard. Bathroom toiletries (Aqua di Parma) are better than you'd find in any Four Seasons, you own wine cooler in the room, digital radio, semi professional espresso machine in the room. Breakfast buffet is amazing, carefully chosen by the owners, with home made cakes, jam and.... gianduja cream of course. Selection of good quality meats and cheeses, eggs made to order. Fresh fruits, breads, viennoiserie etc. The staff are very attentive and always keen to help. We will return

Truffle Fair Visit
Arrival meeting and glasses of wine lovely. Room super clean and lovely also. Breakfast was superb. Thanks to Umbretta for her help with our check in. Everything in the middle left us feeling very isolated and ok if you don’t want/need any in room media entertainment or somewhere to relax with a drink, then this location is perfect . If you want a quiet experience at the end of the day without interaction with anyone then this place is for you . Overall yes very lovely .

Dear Guest, We are so sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at MiaClara Relais. We usually change the bath towels every time the guests put them on the floor. Regarding the TV, it's our choice. We didn't put the TV in the rooms to enjoy more the countryside lifestyle. To change the everyday routine... Regarding the tasting we try to do our best, often with the presence of the winemaker. We usually spend 2 hour or more for private wine tastings, introducing the region and the wines we produce. The €40,00 tasting includes 6/7 wines with Barolo and Barbaresco wines, guided tour in the cellar and the vineyards. We also propose different tastings for €15,00 or €25,00.
