It's a dated motel, but very clean and well kept up, easy to get in and out of, and very reasonable prices. - For a place to sleep, shower, and be on your way, this is an ideal motel.

Every aspect from booking on the app mins before check-in right before midnight, to departure was excellent. The room was exceptionally spacious and very clean. I will stay here every time I pass through for business. Thank you very much!

Everything you need.
Room was clean, and convenient for the purpose of my trip. Nothing fancy about the place but it has everything you need for a comfortable few night stay.

Good bang for the buck
Great bang for the buck. Easy checkin, free parking on site. Room clean with all the basic amenities, good shower, wifi worked fine. Located right off of highway 1. Not much in the area (industrial) but there is a gas station with convenience store and a craft brewery within walking distance.

Front desk indicated it was open daily from 6 am - 12 am, we arrived at 11pm and it was closed. Had to wait for whoever was running it to get out of bed and give us a key to a room. The hotel booking also indicated we would receive continental breakfast with our booking. However, we did not receive any breakfast upon checking out early august when we were leaving the motel at approximately 9:00 am

Good no frills Motel
Ranchmen Motel is a no frills place to spend the night. It is outdated and in some respects needs upgrading and renovating. However it is comfortable with all that a person would need. It is my go to place when I am passing through Medicine Hat. The price is right when you book through Hotels.com.

Sitting on the toilet in room 122, I looked at the floor, where there was at least a dozen little bugs, scurrying around at the corner of the door. Not bed bugs, but just little bugs.

It was a lovely clean hotel except for a large dually truck that backed in right next to our room with a huge exhaust and in the morning he started the truck at 6:00 am and ran it for 30 mins and the exhaust came right into our room and I became instantly nauseous and we had to quickly pack and leave! I know this is no fault of the hotel, but maybe with large trucks they should not be able to park them backed into the rooms!

Don’t judge the book by its cover, they say and this is the case. When it may not be situated in the most appealing area, this family run motel is clean, safe and quiet. Breakfast is included so for what you are paying you can’t complain

Easy to access and visible from hwy.1.
Very good service. Nice breakfast room. Housekeeping lady found the ring my sister forgot by the sink and arranged to send it to her. Comfortable beds. Will return the next time I'm in Medicine Hat .

We called to say we were going to check in late due to a late flight, and we would up standing outside a locked door for ten minutes because there was no one at the front desk. Then we were shocked by an additional $15 in fees that were not listed on Expedia so I’m not sure who’s fault that was. The room was quite, but there was crud and loose change on the floor so it couldn’t have been vacuumed. Staff was friendly enough.
