The fixtures in the bathroom were rusty. There was not maid service to dump the trash or bring clean towels on day two and when the towels did arrive they were dumped onto a chair and not put away. Saturday night included quite a few noisy people hanging around outside. Also note that the mini fridge does not have a small freezer section.

The room seemed mostly clean. The first room we were given, however, had a strong chemical odor. We kept the door open to see if it would air out, but it did not seem to. We asked for another room and it was better. The room was okay considering it was economically priced. I was glad I brought my own pillow but I wished I had another blanket.

Surprised at the change
I stayed at this Inn two years ago and was thrilled with every aspect. The staff was wonderful on this latest trip. But the lamp was rusting, the mini fridge was not turned on and I killed two cockroaches. We are all dealing with the crazy inflation which changes what we are able to do, and perhaps this is why things had deteriorated. They didn’t even have a drink machine. But as said before, the staff was very nice, and the location was just right for my visit.

While I am happy that you found our staff and location to be good, you mentioned that your stay was less than satisfactory. The pest you reported, the rusting lamp and the other listed issues that hindered your experience was truly saddening to read about. Please know that we work with a Pest Control company who regularly treats the property for pests as is standard in the industry. I have notified the property of your comments so they can work with the specialists to ensure everything is as it should be. Guest feedback, like yours, aids Red Roof in improving our guest experience, so thank you for sharing with us.
