I want to start off saying that the housekeeping staff was very nice and the woman that checked us in was lovely. The location of this motel is not super convenient. It’s by the fairgrounds and the airport. It’s also next door to an Adult theater store, which was fun to explain to the kids.
Our room was upstairs in the corner. The stairs are very narrow and when coming down, there is a slight dip in the floor that you can’t see which caused a couple rolled ankles. The room appeared clean. Zipped mattress covers and a mattress protector on all the beds. Fridge, Microwave provided. The beds were uncomfortable, lumpy and hard. The room was very humid, lots of condensation built up on the windows. I’ve stayed at plenty of beach hotels never had an issue. Bathroom was fully stocked and the shower had shampoo/conditioner & body soap available. There was zero water pressure and the shower head was pretty nasty, looks like it needs to be replaced or descaled at least. Our kids liked the half indoor half outdoor pool. The first night was pretty chill but the second night a family of about 15 took over the pool area in the evening, bringing in blow up pool toys and moving tables around to play beer pong and another to eat right next to the pool. We were there maybe 20 minutes but once trash started entering the pool we left. Parking is very tight when they are booked up. Our car was door dinged but we couldn’t find the owner. I told the front desk but they couldn’t do anything.
