Not a 5 Star Hotel... at most 3 stars
To get to your room you have to go trough a maze layout on a dirty carpet. The shower had black fungus on a corner, the water was extremely hot even only with the cold faucet open; the soap and the shampoo are in poorly dispensers. To get out of the slippery shower (bathtub) the only option was to hold on on a burning tube. No electrical outlets beside the bed, not even behind the night stand. At the lobby a fruit platter with a rotten apple and no help to get the luggage out of the car to the lobby, for which you have stairs and a improvised ramp. TV on the room never worked nor was fixed. Far from being a 5 star hotel.

Lots could be done
I have previously stayed at the GP and the standard has gone down in most aspects except breakfast which now is outstanding in strong contrast to the dinner service which now have changed I to a glorified Chinese restaurant possible to serve Asian tour groups

My only issue was the wifi was slow and times disconnected. Which as an international business traveller at times became difficult. Also, charging North American devices with adapters was extremely slow. Sometimes 18 hours for an I pad...

Room was great - although a long walk as in their second building. Hotel quite a walk from bars and restaurants, but very close to the shopping district. Didn't eat in the hotel or use their leisure facilities, so can't comment on them.

The reception was fabulous. They let us check in a bit early, the staff was very helpful and friendly! The restaurant food was 5 stars and the wine. My daughter and I were very happy and impressed by the service, staff, food and the hotel! I will stay here again on my next trip to Italy!!

We have been refused access to the hotel upon our arrival, in spite of a valid and confirmed reservation, due to the Allegro Italia practicing "overbooking". We had never been informed about the proposed hotel change, which would have given us the possibility ahead of time to cancel our trip. Allegro Italia has ruined our weekend, we had to spend one night in a much inferior hotel in a totally different area of town and left the next morning.There is nothing else to say.

The worst hotel experience of my life so far ... hopefully forever. The front desk clerk actually tried to charge us cash for free street parking for out motorcycles ... he was upset the valet told us it was free!! The room key did not open the door, ever! The guy who took us to the room opened it with his key, but left. The airconditioning did not work, but the front desk (parking liar) told us he was resetting it from the ftont desk, as if I was born testerday. Eventually, after we spent our whole day dealing with this room, they switched rooms. But the person who came to help us move, just left. As we were packed up to leave, he comes back, 20 min later. We told him we are moving ourselves, so he took his key, which shut off all the lights in the room, leaving us to pack in the dark with cellphone lights. The next room was bigger, but still hot, but we were lucky, our key opened the door. Horrible, horrible, horrible ... stay away from this hellhole.

Sounds like a good hotel but disapointing. I had 2 rooms where the Air Conditionning was not working. Staff didn't seem to care at the beginning. After numerous complaints, they review the situation but it was unacceptable. Breakfast way overprices for the buffet you get. Some rooms have coffee, but not all of them (do not know why?) Some rooms have amenity kit but not other (same thing, why?) Rooms are lage enough and clean. Bathroom is very clean.

Near by everything in Turin
We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was in walking distance. I loved the fresh fruit and water they had each day in the lobby. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I did not like was the 5 euro a day tax they told us about AT THE END of our stay. It should have been told to us at the beginning.

Gem between two stations
With such a plush hotel, I wish we had time to stay more than a night! We thought the dozens of unsupervised teens roaming the hotel was going to be a problem, but we didn’t hear a thing and had a peaceful night.

Awful customer service.
The room at this hotel was great, its a nice hotel. The staff at this hotel were very rude and unhelpful when I left my cosmetics in the bathroom on checkout. I called later that day when I realised and asked if I could pay for them to ship it to an address for me. They said they would call me back after housekeeping had completed cleaning the room. Noone ever called back. I called another three times chasing it up. I was told they had not spoken to house keeping yet. Then I was told by the office that they would speak to reception and call me back. Noone ever did. I called again today and the receptionist kept me on hold after speaking to two different staff and after a few minutes on hold, they just ended the call. Awful customer service. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

Great central location and super friendly staff. Room was small, with small, uncomfortable beds. They don't have a dedicated concierge with knowledge of the local area.

The worst service and decor.
The hotel is out dated and not even close to a a 2 star hotel. I stayed here and bought the spa package-it was a total joke. You have to go to this other building to get to the spa. The annex building. The worst part was when I finally got to the spa-I didn't bring a towel. The lady at the spa said I had to go get mine out of my room when she had a pile of them right at the desk. She would not give me a towel-she said I had to pay for it. We are talking about a towel. My room was far and I only had a 15 minutes to use the turkish bath thing. Then we I went to turisish bath thing there were 3 young couples and all making out. I told the front desk about the towel thing and they said it is the policy. I travel all the time and this was a horrible decorated, overpriced, unfriendly place.
