Not bad for price. But Bed is old. Staffs are nice though. Walking distance (20 minutes) to downtown.

We had a great time! Very cozy and unique hotel. The furnishings are older but that’s to be expected at a place like this. We loved the continental breakfast and the walk to the river and park. The Flagstaff Suite was perfect for our family of 4.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. The location is absolutely amazing. Short walk to downtown, hikes like Mt. Sanitas and the creek is literally across the street. The room itself was adorable. The continental breakfast is fabulous. Wonderful stay!!

The rooms and the motel in general are like mountain cabins -- knotty pine and cozy. The motel is a mile from downtown, an easy walk, and there are terrific hiking paths just across the street. The staff is very friendly and the vibe in general is homey and relaxed.

Beautiful and comforting option to stay literally at the foot of the mountain. Love the charming cabins and quiet privacy. Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the edge of Boulder. Dog friendly. Perfect place to recharge after day hikes.

Foot of the Mountain was so cute!! We loved that we could walk to hike and it was an easy walk to downtown. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

This place is soooo darn cute. I love thecold styles and old red phone, but then it has everything you need inside (except a tiny bit more room where the king sized bed is.) Loved the Private patio with the hot tub and grill you share with the room next door. Plenty of shops and food choices nearby if you need them and they're close. I might just come back even when I live in Colorado to enjoy it again.

This motel is situated well. It is within the boundaries of Boulder, Colorado, but it feels like a small town outside the Boulder city limits. I had a service dog with me, and he loved the "woodsy" feel from the park and forest nearby. The staff was accomodating and helpful, the price was good, and a modest breakfast was offered to people staying there. This place was a pleasure to stay at..

It’s cute and outdated for sure! Exposed plumbing in our room with a bathroom that is very small! I’m 6’ 200lbs and I had a hard time turning around in the shower.

Great little motel at the foot of Boulder Canyon. Easy walk to Pearl Street, and right on the Boulder Creek Path. Rooms are clean and quaint, but a little dated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a hot tub, but only for guests staying in suites. Breakfast is included and was a nice addition. Overall a nice place, and we would definitely stay again.

Best described as on the rustic side. Room had a lot of character. Bathroom was finctional althought airplane sized but did have a small shower.and lots of hit water. Only baseboard heat in our room (bathroom had an additional wall heater. Firtunately it was not very cold f8r December. If it was, baseboard would not cut it. Has a split air but only A/C. Sugest management upgrade to heat pump. Staff extremely pleasant and continental breakfast was more than adequate. It is located along Boulder Creek which has a great walking/bike bath. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown shops. Overall, good value for the price.

I just want to give you a friendly reminder that 3 out of 5 is actually not a great score, perhaps this is something that didn't occur to you, but essentially it is a 60% (D-). Judging from your review it seems we should have scored higher. Many small businesses like ours rely on positive reviews to generate business and one bad one can really skew the average. Foot of the MOuntain Motel is out of site. So nice to be at the base of some beautiful Mountains. The folks that run the Motel were super cool. Highly suggest staying there when you're in Boulder. I will be.

One day wasn't enough!
I read the reviews before booking but still you never know... This place was amazing! It's a very old motel from the 30s and it has that old European ski charm. If you're looking for something fancy don't come here. this place is cozy and warm and inviting. Right on the mountainside I got one of the sweets that came with it's own jacuzzi. The vibe was on point the staff was so friendly! Good breakfast amazing location!! I wanted to stay a week but I could only stay one day. Way too short. I'll definitely be back!

This place is a gem! Perfectly located in Boulder close to many hiking trails and Pearl street for dining/shopping/drinking. Everyone in the office is super friendly. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.

What you see is what you get. Rooms weren't big but it was comfortable. Staff was very nice, and your staying right next to hiking trails outside of Boulder.
