The shower pressure was incredible I loved it. Most hotel's suck but this was like standing under a fire hose. Very nice place in beautiful mountain valley.

Perfect for our road trip.
The lodge was large and well provided for .The welcome was extremely efficient and short, but the exiting staff polite and friendly.

Office staff very rude and unwelcoming. Room was ok, floors dusty and dirty, bathroom mirror dirty and soap dish had chunks of something in it. Bed was comfortable, TV did not work. A bit disappointing, we have stayed here a few times and never experienced rude staff or unclean rooms, not sure what the problem is. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Our stay went well. Other than having to wait past 3:00 pm to check in, no other issues. Nice check-in young lady, very kind and helpful. Breakfast would have been nice, too bad it's no longer available there.

Reception staff was disinterested in welcoming us. But was prompt and effective in clearing a blocked bathroom sink. Breakfast has been discontinued. There were pieces of litter outside and two massive "dry box" storage containers right in front of the lodge. Really?!? Ice machine provided ample ice, but it leaked water and had couple of towels laid on the floor to absorb it. $200 /night. We'd probably look elsewhere in Packwood next time.

We apologize about breakfast but we stooped it in October 2022 and haven't advertised breakfast since that time. The litter we try to keep up on it but with the wind it is constantly blown in from neighboring properties. The leak in the ice machine just started and we are awaiting party to fix the leak and placed the towels on the floor to absorber the water and to keep people from slipping while allowing us to could keep the ice available to guest. The containers are to store the new king size beds that will replace all of the single queen beds. We had to take delivery before the frames arrived. and the location of the boxes was the only place we could have them.

Mgr can't clean the rooms but they have little notes stapled around the hotel telling us what we can't do, ie. Note stating no early check ins, no exceptions and no smoking except in a certain area in the parking lot, but cigarette collectors are placed around the hotel at every other door. Asked for a room cleaning on day 3, only towel change and trash removed. Asked housekeeper she said they don't do any cleaning on "make" room. 1 to 2 star at most.

Decent overall
Overall, it was a decent stay. The property is older but clean. Beds were okay and there was always hot water. The main thing I didn’t like was that the sink and shower drain’s didn’t drain properly. The sink wasn’t really a big problem, but the shower had a good 3-4 inches of water after I finished showering. I had to wait for the water to drain to wash my feet off and then rinse the shower off before letting my daughter shower.

This place was overall very good. The fact that there breakfast was no longer served was disappointing. It was nice they had popcorn for guests. I rang the bell to get change for laundry and nobody came and we found a plate in our microwave from the previous guests with a partial corn dog and BBQ sauce. We enjoyed conversations with other guests and the facilities provided. I would recommend this place to others.

Ok, but not great
Unfortunately there aren’t many choices for lodging when you want to spend a few days at Mount Rainier, and we figured this was a decent option. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. The room was mostly clean, but there was leftover pizza in the mini fridge from the previous guests, and the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped. The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and we both had aching backs each morning. I think the next time we go to Rainier, we’ll probably look for somewhere else to stay. It was fun to see the elk on the property, and across the street, and Packwood has a great brew pub and burger place.

The bed sheets were clean but that's about it. The room is very basic. Bathroom door hardly closes and wont lock. The surrounding are dirty and shabby. Only one drier for two washers. No breakfast and other options around are poor.

Great place to stay when visiting Mount Rainier
This hotel is very close to Mount Rainier National Park. The lobby staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Overall a very pleasing experience.

Worst hotel ever
Worst hotel ever. The bed is so little that you can barely sleep with 2 persons in it. The floor was dirty and dust everywhere

I apologies for the floor and dust. For your bed begin to small you booked a Deluxe Room, 1 Queen Bed, and your room had a Queen size bed. We do have rooms with King size beds available.

The cleanliness needs to be improved as there was lot of dust inside the room on the furniture. We saw cobwebs inside the room. The air conditioning was making lot of noise while it was running which bothered our sleep so that needs to be fixed too. Rest all was good.

Room was comfortable. Employees were very helpful. We could walk to dinner. Cool to see the elk on the property. If you are checking in after 10pm, you should make arrangements to get your keys as the desk closes after 10pm.

La plus chère des chambres d'hôtel de notre séjour, et...la pire. 1ère mauvaise impression, plusieurs affiches expliquant qu'aucun check in ne sera toléré avant 15h, le ton est donné. Cela tombe bien, il est 16h, personne à l'accueil, on sonne à X reprises, 20 minutes s'écoulent, on finit par trouver une femme de ménage dans les couloirs, elle va réveiller le préposé à l'accueil: ni bonjour ni excuse, ni politesse, juste un "you're ID". A présent la chambre, assez difficile à décrire, si ce n'est que ce n'est pas une chambre au départ: une salle des fête avec les portes qui vont avec, double entrée avec portes vitrées (d'ailleurs un autre client est rentré dans notre "chambre" se demandant probablement à quoi correspondait cette pièce), salle de bain qui ressemble à un vestiaire de foot, salle et abimée, certains de mes enfants ont refusé de s'y laver, toilettes défectueuses, nous n'avions qu'une seule envie, fuir! Donc si vous en avez la possibilité, fuyez avant de réserver

Elks we’re grazing outside our window. Another sink outside the bathroom was so convenient The smart TV was big with great apps. The AC worked really well. Convenient location to the Sunrise area of Mt Rainier Natl Park. And we could walk to restaurants.

The curtain is transparent and the early morning sun shined through it and woke up everybdy. Our room is by the main road, and since the window is not completely shutdown due to the portable ac, the morning car driving by is noisy. The location is great to visit mount rainier. Less than 10 min from the entrance.
