I travel a lot and anytime we check in we are greeted very warmly by reception staff and they are welcoming and answer any questions appropriately. Upon arrival we went to the reception desk and one member of staff was serving another customer. we then had the privilege of a staff member that not only did not greet us or have anything pleasant to say but was very grumpy and not helpful. I had to ask about the parking situation to which he looked annoyed at, he gave me the impression he had better things to do then help me understand the hotels amenities. The room we slept in was so draughty and cold we did not get much sleep. The next morning we went down for breakfast, we had to wait in a queue which was not bad the staff worked hard to seat us ASAP. No veg options, took long time to refill the buffet. We could only have toast and croissants for breakfast. We didn't stay our whole stay we left earlier then expected and as we was checking out we had the unfortunate staff member again to check us out. I walked up to reception and said that we wanted to check out only response was “ok, that’s all” I went on to say goodbye and left. I expected a “hope you had a great stay!” But nothing. Just to mention the bar staff were amazing so kind and forthcoming.
