I booked through Hotels.com... and PAID for the room. Upon ATTEMPTED check-in at the hotel, I was told that "Hotels.com had not paid the hotel, so I would need to pay AGAIN, and maybe I could ask Hotels.com for a refund." Nope, nope, nope. I'm NOT paying twice for the place. Hotels.com should refund the money that I paid, as I was unable to stay in a this hotel... and had to sleep in the CAR, due to the fact that I did not have the funds immediately available to PAY FOR THE ROOM TWICE! If you sense that I am not happy with Hotels.com, you would be absolutely correct.
