The foyer within the hotel is nice enough, the staff were friendly and the food was lovely.
However, the room is something to be desired. The room is very dated, small, bed is tiny, and the pillow is too soft against a really hard headboard. The room wasn't hoovered, as I discovered toe nails at the side of the bed. The bathroom is very basic.
The TV is a 15" one in the room and wasn't even plugged in when I went. It was facing away from the bed.
The coffee in the hotel was really poor as well. I had to stop drinking it at breakfast, it tasted like brown water.
The car parking is very limited. There is space for 10 cars which you can cram in, however if no space is available there, you have to park on the streets of Strathpeffer next to other residential houses.
