I bought this as a stopgap coming home from a football night match. it does all you need to break a journey and sleep. There is nothing else nearby - literally - as the petroleum station and Little Chef closed when the new road opened to bypass the road the hotel sits on. Everything is OK about the room. It is clean, warm and functional. I didn’t try the free tea or coffee as the brands were generic. The bathroom was good, but it was the Worst shower I’ve ever experienced. When you switch it on so there is sufficient power, it is to heart when you switch the heat down it pulses in a way which is very hard to get a shower. These are a shame because the shower cubicle and rest of the bathroom are very good. Staff at reception are excellent, friendly, though rather bored because of the lack of trust quick passin worst shower I’ve ever experienced. Staff at reception are excellent, friendly, though rather bored because of the lack of business. With a carpark that was half full, it seems that some people are still finding the hotel, though it does not show up on satnav with the new road confusing it. Would I stay there again? Yes, because it’s really cheap, clean, warm and handy for what I want.
