My wife and I enjoyed a little getaway to Lititz so we could cycle the Lititz Rail Trail, the hotel more than met our expectations and we ended up with a roomy suite with a whirlpool tub, and we were able to walk to close by Isaac’s restaurant for an early dinner.

I inquired if a courtesy room upgrade and/or late check-out could be honored. We were told these were not options unless we were enrolled in the “loyalty program.” I was hopeful 1 of the 2 options could be granted given that the hotel was not at max. capacity (and that extra hour would’ve helped tremendously, as we were exhausted)!

Upon arrival, the toilet had human waste in it that hadn't been flushed. Clearly, it had not been cleaned after its last use. The hotel offered us some points after we outright asked if there was anything they could do but said they could not give us any money off of our bill. Not good - at the very least, I'd expect the toilet to be flushed/cleaned?! Also, the fridge was coming apart at the top, and there was water all in the bottom of it.

We had a great stay. Staff is friendly, everything was nice and clean. Hot breakfast was nice to have every morning. Would absolutely stay here again!

Front desk made me wait until 3pm to check in. I came in at 1:15pm trying to do an early check in, then was asked to come back at 3:00pm that was the time of check in. After waiting 1.5 hrs in the car I came back at 2:30pm just to see it if I could check in and the lady made me wait. She checked in another 3 people in front of me. Just ridiculous. I’m also a IHG member, in which i will definitely reconsider next time when booking hotels. Hotel is on the older side, but good to spend a night.

Great staff. Very dated for the price point.
Let's start with the good/great: The front desk staff was top notch kind and made check in an absolute breeze. They knew all about service animals versus esa/pets, and made checking in with my medical alert dog so seamless. Can't say enough good things about them! The bed was very comfy. Room smelled clean. Bathroom was spotless and very obviously had a new walk in shower recently installed. Loved the dove products in the shower. Very eco-friendly. Breakfast was solidly good, and the breakfast area was dated, but very clean. Now the not so great: The entire place is run down. Cracked fake leather on the lobby sofa, chipped furniture in the rooms. The sink in the wet bar did not operate. The jacuzzi tub jets barely functioned (no power to them at all - they barely moved the water), and one lost an o-ring and a gasket while using the tub. The frame of the tub was also precariously nailed on. The tub itself was nice. The water was hot and I had a lovely bath...albeit sans jets. Far and away though, the most disturbing thing was that when I checked into my room, I opened the door to find that someone had been napping in the bed already. The coverlet was pulled back and there was an obvious headprint in the pillow, along with an open ink pen and a piece of plastic on the bed. This was unsettling, so I went to the front desk, where the ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS staff immediately jumped into action,took photos, changed sheets, and pulled camera footage.

Pet friendly! Property was very accommodating for my family of 6. Room was clean and a good size for us. Only request, which was small, pls. fix or get rid of the pancake machine. So many people wanted them but it only worked when a staff member came out to readjust it. After the readjust it made one pancake, then stopped working. Just get a waffle machine.

Christmas vacation
Every member of the staff that we had contact with was friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was very uncomfortable, however. We felt every spring in the mattress. Also, despite being there over Christmas when the temperatures were in the low to mid 30’s at night, the heat in the room was almost unbearable. We had it turned down to 60 but it still felt like it was about 75. After the first night, we actually had to turn on the air conditioning to keep the room comfortable, which seemed crazy in December in PA.

D Did not like the pillows for a king-sized room. My pillows on my side of the bed had two pillows and one pillow case which made the pillow lumpy and uncomfortable rather than having full size pillows.

Stay was good with only one small complaint. Our room was right by the elevator and it was noisy by the elevator both late evening and early morning. Folks congregating and talking loudly. Other than that would definitely stay there again but would ask for room away from elevator.
