선셋블루바드 대로변, 컴포트인
유니버셜을 다녀와 찾아간 호텔은 그야말로 이번 여행의 흠집 같은 곳이었네요. 전화로 위치를 물어도 모른다하고 가까운 전철역이 어디냐하니 알아들을 수 없는 말만~~@ 제 임의대로 버몬트선셋역에서 내려 2번 버스를 타고 30분 정도 지나 스타벅스와 버거킹 건물 옆에 아담사이즈로 있는 파란 간판의 컴포트인. 입구에 따로 마련된 사무실에는 작은 체구의 멕시코계 아저씨가 있었는데 여권을 제시하지 않고 한국신분증을 제시했더니 안된다며 그곳에 30분 이상을 서 있게 하더군요. 물론 제 불찰인 줄은 알지만 하루종일 지친 아이들이 옆에 있는데도. 물론 자기 일에 최선을 다하는 모습은 보기좋지만 그동안의 컴포트와는 왠지 사믓 다른 태도에 볼이 화끈거렸습니다. 객실도 올드한 분위기. 주변 거리도 스벅이 있긴 했지만 노숙자와 어두컴컴한 거리는 그다지 활보하고 돌아다닐 정도는 아니었어요.

위치가좋은 무난한 숙소
위치는 walk of fame, dodgers stadium, universal studio 등 과멀지않아 좋았으나, 방이 좀 작고 건물이 노후한 것같습니다.. 또 아침 식사하기에 공간이 작아 늦으면 자리잡기가 어렵습니다..

헐리우드에 근접한 호텔로 걸어서 10분 이내에 코닥시어터, 차이니스 시어터, 워크 오브 페임 등을 자유롭게 볼 수 있어서 좋음.

호텔은 옛날식이고, 나름 운치가 있었습니다. 수영장도 있고, 주차장과 객실이 아주 가까워 짐을 옮기기도 수월했습니다. 1시간 반정도 일찍 도착했지만 방을 기꺼이 내어 주었구요. 조금 늦게 체크아웃을 했지만 배려를 해주었습니다. 침대도 편했고, 한국방송도 TV에서 한두편 나왔습니다. 아침식사도 깔끔하고 평범했습니다. 단점을 말하자면, 워크 오브 페임 근처라 하지만 그렇게 볼게 없습니다. 이 근처를 구경하지 않으면 후회하겠다는 생각은 전혀 들지 않았습니다. 저는 거기 있는동안 계속 차를 몰고 나가서 관광을 했습니다. 그리고 동네가 밤에는 돌아다니기 위험한듯 했습니다. LA시내가 다 그렇겠지만 밤에 구경나가는걸 추천하고 싶은 동네는 아니였습니다. 그리고 방 입구쪽에 등이 없어 어두워서, 짐 싸기가 좀 불편했습니다. 하지만 다운타운이 복잡해서 싫고, 저녁늦게 나갈일 없고, in-n-out, IHOP, ROSS 등을 걸어서 이용하길 원한다면 추천합니다.

음... 그냥 평범한 호텔입니다
유니버셜과 할리우드를 목적지로 삼는 분들에게는 정말 환상적인 위치입니다. 바로 호텔 근처에 베트남 음식점에 세븐 일레븐 인엔아읏까지 알차게도 주변에 다 있었구요 저는 아이들과 이곳에서 4박 하면서 유니버셜 LA자연사 박물관 캘리포니아 싸이언스센터 Westfield 쇼핑센터&Amc극장 이렇게 다녔는데 어딜 가도 10-15분 안에 다 도착했고 이런 이유가 이 호텔을 결정하는데 큰 역할을 했습니다. 아침 조식도 알차게 잘 나왔고요. 프론데스크 직원분이 누구냐에 따라 친절도는 차이가 넘 났고 방이...참 작습니다...그리고 일단 카펫 청결 상태가....ㅠ 별로였어서....이건 좀 점수를 깍았습니다.

Hotel très bien situé. À 5 minutes du début du Hollywood Walk of Fame. Le TCL Chinese Theatre et le Dolby Theatre est à 10 minutes de marche. À 15 minutes de voiture du Griffith Park. Une station de Metro est au coin Hollywood Blvd/Highland pour vous deplacer facilement. Universal Studio est à 10 minutes en Metro.

Ansi took very good care of us. We had last minute, unavoidable circumstances and he went out of his way to accommodate us. I'd go back just because he took such good care of us.

The hotel smelled like moth balls. There was no one at the front desk. The tv didn't work.

Really Close to Sunset Blvd.
Stayed here for the night of my bachelorette party. We went to the magic castle and this was the closest hotel with the best price. You have to pay $20 extra for parking but the guy was really cool and let 2 other cars park there so we could take one car to the castle. The room smelled like pee, like really bad. The breakfast was really nice actually, and the staff was very nice. Best you can get in that area for that price.

Overall, this was an affordable hotel located very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The hotel staff were pretty friendly.

Walked into room 106 was greeted by the little bed cover having little holes all over it (cigarette burns from someone on a bender?), some long hairs on the floor in the bathroom, and some dry white stains on the office chair. I didn't set anything down on the floor or sit in the chair. All my stuff was married to the tv counter and I had to go out and get pretty tore up in order to sleep in this place without thinking I was going to get bed bugs or an STD. I just needed a place to sleep and it was close to a job site I was working at the next day. I would stay again if I had too just because it was the only thing reasonably priced that wasn't a trap house.

Visiting LA first time and wanted a hotel with a good location in Hollywood. Hotel has perfekt location, walking distance to main area of interest on Hollywood boulevard. Hotel very typical with relatively small room, bathroom not renovated last years but otherwise clean room and air condition working.

Nice clean room in a familar hotel chain.
Went to see our son. Hotel was clean and well run. A bit pricy but ok. I liked being able to self-park our vehicle.

Værelset lugtede fugtigt. Ac virkede kun delvist. Køleskab larmede så vi måtte slukke for det. En enkelt i receptionen var meget uhøflig. Meget larm fra gaden og usikkert at bevæge sig udenfor om aftenen.

The facilities were pretty good but the building itself has seen better days. The breakfast was one of the best I've seen at a hotel for a while. There is no laundry at the place but there is a laundromat across the road. There are various food options in the area plus a supermarket but the area itself, isn't the nicest place to be walking around at night. Hollywood and Highland area is about a 10 minute walk from this hotel

Manager very nice let us check in before 3. Basic but clean. Very close walk to Hollywood Blvd. Free hot breakfast was good was only expecting cereal. Didn't know about $20 parking fee! Pay attention to the *. Surprised at how dirty Hollywood Blvd was! Town needs to be swept from sidewalks to the streets!!

Cerca del Paseo de la fama
Habitación pequeña para cuatro adultos , colchones en mal estado , muebles que necesitan renovación y cableado y enchufes en mal estado. Parecía que habían renovado el baño hace poco y pintado. Esta situado al lado del paseo de la fama, teatro Dolby... rodeado de restaurantes de todo tipo ( pizzas, hamburguesas, comida mexicana...). En el precio de la habitación incluyen un desayuno básico y aparcamiento ( zona complicada de aparcar). Lo recomendaría por su ubicación y si esta a un precio razonable.

Tuvimos un contratiempo con la persona d recepción, al llegar nos dijo que podíamos dejar las maletas en resguardo el día siguiente, al llevarlas comentó que no las podíamos dejar, al querer ocupar una mesa para consultar, nos dijo que no podíamos utilizarla. Mala atención del recepcionista. La puerta del baño no cierra bien

I didn't see any parking fee in hotels.com for the hotel but they charged $20 for parking, and when I said, that fee is not there in website he just said it will be there and he charged for it, I didn't expect that kind of service from comfort Inn.

I had a great experience here the only reason it's not ethnographic a 5 star review is because the room that we stayed in had a bad refrigerator that was leaking all over the floor.

For being in Hollywood It was disappointing the room needs upgrading and the walls had marks. The price was to high for the condition of the hotel.

An OK Stay.
Parking was too cramped. Bed not so comfortable. Office was closed when we got there to check in. Asked for $20 for parking even though reservation said free parking. But the room was very clean.

Too noisy
Free parking in Expedia' Ad but charged $20/day. Nightmare starts noisy A/C, you will be waken up by neighbors' A/C even you turned off your A/C. Mini-refrigerator also makes huge noise. Room smells mouldy, too soft mattress makes you like drop in the bed. The bed has two moving wheels, so the bed is moving when you sit or turn over. worst hotel i even stay in my whole life. The hallway also smells weird
