Love the Mediterraneo!
Large comfortable clean rooms. The owner really makes the stay worth while. He is very friendly very informative and the service is phenomenal. Loved the breakfast and hearing the story of the Mediterraneo! This would be my first option in Anacapri!

Prisvärt nära Munthes hus. Rekommenderas!
Mediterraneo ligger bra till med gångavstånd till Anacapri centrum, till busshållplats och till Axel Munthes hus. Ägaren är mycket trevlig, frukosten är bra och rummet rent och bra.

The venue is sweet and accommodating, I was helping with a wedding so the only disadvantage was the late start for breakfast.

Great stay!
Great location, close to the bus and walks, but at the same time quiet. Room was spacious, nice and clean. Great breakfast, with some local specialties like grilled fennel and sun dried tomatoes. Owner helped us to plan our activities, so we could see most of the island during our stay! Recommended and would stay there again!!!

Gianluca ist unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein toller Gastgeber! Gleich zu Beginn gab's wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen :) Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll und mit einer großen Auswahl zubereitet. Super Kaffee und die selbst gemachten Antipasti sind ein Traum! Das B&B hat eine super Lage in der Nähe der Busstation von Anacapri. Ins Zentrum sind es maximal 5 Minuten zu Fuß.. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Anacapri sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Für alles andere nimmt man den Bus oder ein Taxi. Ein Mietwagen ist nicht zu empfehlen!

A warm and friendly welcome.
A very warm and friendly welcome from the owner. We were given lots of advice and practical information to help us make the most of our visit to Capri. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast has adequate choice and the food was always fresh.

Great B&B in Anacapri
Mediterraneo was an excellent B&B in Anacapri, close to shops and restaurants. Gianluca was a great host and provided many helpful tips for having a good experience on the island. Great breakfast provided.

Lovely place, incredible hospitality
My boyfriend and I stayed here at the beginning of March on our 3 week western Europe trip. This was by far, our favourite stop along that trip. First of all, Capri is gorgeous and we had gorgeous weather when we were there. The B&B itself is adorable, it has that rustic, southern Italian charm, just like in the movies. Our room was great. They provide extra blankets and pillows in the closet, which was nice! The breakfast was delicious, and the host, Gianluca, was there to make you delicious Italian coffee or give you advice. I looked forward to that breakfast so much, the spread was delectable and had great variety. Our first night there, Gianluca gave us a great dinner recommendation (Aumm Aumm) just down the street, and we went two nights in a row to that place, because we received SUCH amazing service there! Gianluca also gave us tons of ideas for things to sightsee, (factoring in that we didn't have much time on the island) and showed us where everything was on the map. Even told us where to catch the bus and how to get back to the port for the ferry when we were leaving. Following his instructions, we had the most absolutely perfect day. I can't say enough good things about this place and would come back here again and again.

Wonderful B & B in Anacapri!
The Mediterraneo was amazing! Guinluca was the kindest, most informative host. He advised us of places to go and restaurants to eat at. Easy walking distance to shops & places to eat. The rooms were very comfortable with beautiful Italian pasta tile floors. Bed was very comfy, fluffy pillows, warm blankets. Very quiet area, no street noise. Bathroom well appointed. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices, from cereal to grilled vegetables, meats,cheeses, breads & fresh fruit. I give Mediterraneo the highest rating and recommend Anacapri. It was a wonderful respite after hectic Rome. We would love to come back! Many thanks Guinluca!

Match expectations.
Nice hotel,perfectly in line with what you would expect for the price. GianLuca is very helpful and give good recommendations. Easy access to various buses which are the main mean of transportation on the island. Walking distance from Anacapri center.

We had an amazing time in Anacapri. Gianluca is lovely and welcoming giving you lots of information and tips. It's located a short walk to the main part of the town and a ten minute bus ride away to a lovely beach. I'm pleased we discovered Anacapri; will definitely be returning.

O hotel é muito confortável e limpo, o quarto é enorme, fica bem perto da praça de Anacapri mas o ponto seguinte a poucos metros é mais próximo ao hotel. O Gianluca é extremamente bem educado, atencioso, gentil e prestativo, fez toda a diferença na estadia.

La struttura è una tipica casa caprese, adattata a B&B. Si trova poco fuori dal centro abitato in una zona molto molto silenziosa, in un attimo a piedi si è subito nel centro di Anacapri. Camera accogliente e spaziosa. La simpatia, la disponibilità e la cortesia di Gianluca sono davvero la marcia in più di questa struttura.

Wonderful birthday in Capri.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday. The hotel and the room are just fantastic. Gianluca was friendly and helpful in every way. I was even impressed with the buffet breakfast which offered many choices, both sweet and savory.

Small hotel about seven rooms total.
The accommodations were good for the price. The owner has several cameras and complained about us coming back from town late at night.

Great service for breakfast. A variety of food to choose from including lovely cake, great char grilled vegetables. Close to the tourist area but far enough away to be quiet.

Room is spacious and the service is excellent
Really love this room and very spacious.Nice environment. If only it can be reached via a taxi by the road side it will be a full point. Strategic location and nice garden.Room is very clean and the service is excellence. The moment we arrived, the guy(sorry cant remember your name) advice us to go to the blue grotto cause it is a good weather.We did and we really had a great time experiencing the sparkling blue grotto.

Nice place. The owner a great person
excellent if you arrive in a Scooter. Not easy though, but everybody knows the place if you ask. Anacapri is a beautiful city near very nice beaches.

Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på det lilla familjehotellet Mediterraneo. Läget är centralt men mycket lugnt i Anacapri. Frukosten är både riklig och välsmakande. Värden. Gianluca, mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående. Utsikten från vårt rum (n:r7 med eget pentry) är visserligen begränsad men å andra sidan är det nära till storslagna vyer och upplevelser, inte minst San Michele och Monte Solaro (linbanan ligger bara 5 min bort)

Quiet, charming small hotel in Anacapri
What a wonderful small, quiet hotel. If you want to visit Capri but not be caught in the crush of tour groups and luxury stores, Anacapri is a wonderful place to stay and this small hotel is perfect. It is just a few blocks from the picturesque downtown of Anacapri, which has a laid-back feel and a charming pedestrian street of shops and restaurants. Bus transportation to any spot on the island is convenient from here, and the hotel owner is wonderfully helpful. A great find.

Bruce speaks Italian
The patron is an incredibly polite fellow. The rest of his staff unintentionally comes off cold because they don't speak English. The room is clean, so are the bed sheets and towels. Unfortunately the whites (towels and linens) are so overly starched, you'd rather towel off and sleep on 80 grit sand paper. I'm unfamiliar whether other hotels in the region use as much starch for their whites, therefore this cannot be observed as any form of critical observation, rather it is a warning for American travelers of Europe in general. Again the condition of the linens is not a criticism of the hotel! By the way, can you tell I'm familiar with how retaliatory some hotel owners and managers in italy can get about any adverse review?
