El lugar está en pésimas condiciones,necesita mantenimiento urgente,los cuartos sucios,hay mosquitos dentro de las habitaciones y agujeros en el techo de las cabañas. Nos fuimos a la playa temprano y solicitamos shampoo y acondicionador y una persona de nombre "Antonio"dijo que se lo encargaría a la persona que limpia para que los subiera al cuarto pero termino entregandonos 2 sobres pequeños de puro shampoo en la playa, un poco extraño. Al volver a nuestra habitación nos percatamos que nuestras carteras estaban abiertas y nos hacía falta dinero. Hablamos con la encargada para informarle y dijo que nadie tenía acceso más que un sólo trabajador, "Antonio" y que él se encargaba dela limpieza, el bar, la comida yque no creia el lo hiciera.Le dije que creíamos que se metió a nuestra habitación a dejar el shampoo y al ver nuestras carteras tomó el dinero.Que si era posible hablar con él para que lo devolviera y dijo que vendría al día siguiente y que yo hablara con él, que ella no se haría responsable que hubiera dejado todo en recepción pero adivinen quien esta a cargo de la recepcion, pues Antonio. Entendería si tiene un staff muy grande pero si es una sola persona y la única llave la tenía yo y la otra él, es más que obvio quién tomo el dinero. Al día siguiente hablamos con él y negó todo.Supuestamente había cámaras en el área dónde tiene las llaves y dijo que no servían,nos fuimos ese día del hotel porque nunca nos pudieron dar una solución.No se queden en este lugar TE ROBAN!

Hola, gracias por sus comentarios y opiniones. Lamentamos mucho lo sucedido, sí es cierto la construcción es rústica y vieja, pero limpia y en buen estado, el techo al ser de zacate sufre un poco con el viento pero no pasa a mas de eso, y si es cuestión de apreciación del lugar y su entorno. entre todas los comentarios nunca hubo de robo. Según nos comenta la persona que los recibió que llegaron con 3 perros lo cual no se permite, pero les hicieron una excepción y que no pagaron su consumo y que tampoco dejaron la llave de la cabaña. Hacemos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para que nuestros clientes tenga la mejor estancia en nuestro pequeño lugar, sentimos mucho que su experiencia no haya sido muy buena. que tengan un excelente día.

budget hotel by the beach
If you looking for a budget and not picky! This is the perfect spot its literally by the beach and a nice view lots of hut and trees. Costumer service is great it just need more cleaning in the room as it old and lil dirty

The price for this room in the area is very very reasonable. Make sure you have a vehicle because there are no restaurants anywhere nearby.

Perfect for a budget friendly stay in Puerto Morelos. The staff was nice. They helped us get a affordable cab ride back to the airport for 400 pesos. I enjoyed walking the beach. The rooms are very basic. I would recommend it if you're trying to relax beach front at an affordable price. And I would recommend you walk the beach toward the center of Puerto Morelos. It's about 30 mins walk in beautiful weather.

Una playa excelente a 1/3 del costo de los vecinos
Cerca de grandes resorts es un lugar economico y bueno para quien no necesita todo incluido y pagar de mas. Pocas cabañas, algunas rusticas y sin embargo el lugar y la playa lo compensan, el amanecer espectacular, lo mismo pagando 1000 dolares que 100.

I stayed for 4 nights and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots to do in the area and right on the beach.

Very good
Very nice place if you are okay with the non fancy stuff, but the people working there are awesome. Soo close to the beach, very laid back and it was nice that all you hear is the ocean.

Belle endroit pour terminer notre séjour tout près de la plage. Les installations sont vieillissantes mais si.vous ne chercher pas de luxe, cet endroit calme est agréable. Par contre, la description sur hôtels.com n'est pas tout a fait respecter comme pas de bouteille d'eau, ventilateur de sol, pas de.douche dans chambre.

Puerto morelos is a beautiful village
Great spot on the beach. Not an all inclusive resort which suited us just fine. Many activities near by and a long beach walk into town was great. Easy cab ride too.

A quaint tiny beach front getaway
We booked a room for 4 for our last night in Mexico. It had a great beach access situated in between 2 large resorts. There was a small bar that served a good breakfast and snacks and lots of lounge chairs and shade. It was a little run down but the room was clean and managed to work for the 4 of us. We had a blast, after a nice dinner in peorto Morales, sitting on the beach and goofing around. The bed didn't seem that comfy but everyone slept well. It was more than I expected for the money, and it was nice to support a local family. Definitely would go back.

El personal muy amable, nadie te molesta, justo frente al mar... las cabañas estan perfectas, no es lujoso pero es muy tranquilo y agradable, en general todo estuvo de lo mejor.

Nettes Hotel in Ruhelage
Trotz später Ankunft, schnelles Check-in und angenehmer Aufenthalt, da man vor allem die wenigen anderen Hotelgäste kaum bemerkt. Ordentlicher Zustand der Anlage, aber durchaus preislich relativ hoch angesiedelt für das Angebot. Strand sehr schön und ruhig trotz großer Nachbarhotels.

cute little non resort
Super cute, clean little cabanas on the beach. Restaurant was a little pricey and closed at 5. Rooms were clean and adorable. Surrounded by inclusive resorts, 45 min walk to town. Cute place over all.

Arrivé dans l'après midi, l'accueil a été très souriant. L'hôtesse a réservée un taxi pour l'aéroport tôt le lendemain en négociant un bon prix pour moi. Seul plaisir de dormir bercé par le bruit des vagues.

hübsche Cabanas direkt am Strand
hübsche, jedoch sehr kleine Cabanas direkt am Strand. Einfache Ausstattung, etwas nachlässig gepflegt (z. B. mehrere Glühbirnen kaputt). Nettes Personal, leider ist ab 17.00 niemand mehr da (Strandbar geschlossen, Abendessen und Getränke müssen im Dorf besorgt werden. Dieses liegt nicht in Fußnähe).Dafür ist es aber auch sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Alles in allem sehr nett, aber ein bisschen zu teuer!

solo fue para dormir pero estaba muy simple el hotel, no hay quien atienda ya de noche y hasta las 8 de la mañana....pocos servicios y nada que ver con las fotos.

Rústico no debe significar Descuidado
El Acamaya Reef es un hotel PEQUEÑO en toda la extensión de la palabra, su mayor virtud es estar sobre la playa, aunque nos toco el fenómeno del sargazo (algas marinas) que hicieron desaparecer el hermoso azul turquesa por una costa rojiza y mal oliente en todo el Caribe Mexicano y más alla (excepto en las islas mujeres, cozumel y holbox). Esta alejado como a 3 o 4km del centro de Puerto Morelos y no hay tiendas ni restaurantes cercanos. Una cosa es un alojamiento rústico y otra el tenerlo descuidado, pués bien podrían darle una buena pintada a las cabañas y barnizar todas las escaleras de madera, le darían otra imágen, además de una buena iluminación.

Fue una visita corta, el personal muy amable. Las instalaciones requieren de mantenimiento y el costo es un poco elevado para lo que es el hotel.

Vacationing, back to basics.
It was a 'bear bones' but affordable Cabin. Mine had no TV or Air. I was given a fan, which worked well for me with accompanying cool sea breeze. the staff was very helpful and the food good. Good thing I rented a car to get to town its about one hour walk.

Habìa bichos en el dormitorio, aparece fotos de alberca y no la tiene. La recepcionista muy cortante y nada agradable. Reserve dos dìas y al segundo salì de ahì. No esta cerca del centro, si, a 5 min del carro, pero la calle con demasiadas curvas.

The place was up for sale so was a little run down but clean. Overpriced for what was on offer. Needed to get a taxi as there was no food or water on offer, Hardly a hotel more a place for caravans. Taxi drivers charged a lot of money to go there. Beach was not taken care of. overshadowed by a huge 5 star hotel
