All our guests in the guest house do have access to a fully equipped guest kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge in the garden. We’re an eco-friendly guest house and therefore all our towels are sun-dried. Sometimes this can make the towels a bit hard. The advantage is, that they do dry up the body far better and one gets a bit of a free massage as well. We hope to welcome you back soon. In the kitchen there is beside dishwasher, gas stove, fridge and much more a multifunctional microwave, which covers the major functions of an oven. 16 White House is an old victorian beauty and is furnished as shown on the pictures. This is a matter of taste. We think, sometimes less can be more. GUBAS DE HOEK is offering 2 self-catering units and 8 guest rooms, so all self-catering guests can have breakfast and dinner at the guest house, if they are not in the mood for cooking. Dear valued Ryan Thank you very much for your booking with us. Let’s put finally things right. A booking was made for 2 guests and you want to occupy it with 3 guests at no extra costs. We did offer the following options to help and accommodate the guest: Option 1: To set up the room for the 3. guest with an extra matrass with bedding on the floor, (the base was not available at that moment, because you did arrive late). Option 2: We tried to find a room at another guest house and offered at this stage a refund of 90 % of the deposit. You agreed to add a matrass, but you denied to pay for the 3. guest. For the extra person I did offer a special rate @ R 315 R 160 for the bed + R 155 for the breakfast, instead of R 390. Unfortunately, you and your fellows became very unfriendly, photos of the property were taken and I was warned about a review and you left the property. I did advise you to report the matter to Expedia and claim the refund from them. Still I did refund you 20 % of the booking value according our T&C’s. It is our most intention to help the guests, but in this case it was unfortunately impossible.
