Very hot days. No air conditioning. Fan a bit noisy. Warm welcome, not too much fuss, clean and nice

Piccolo hotel discretamente confortevole
Albergo vicinissimo all'Università per stranieri, centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi con una salita di circa 500 mt. Camera sufficientemente spaziosa, non eccezionale ma confortevole. Armadio e piccola scrivania abbastanza recenti, bagno attrezzato ma con qualche perdita d'acqua. Personale di pulizia buono, colazione sufficiente. Gestito da una cortese coppia che fa tutto quel che può. Ci sono dei posti auto esclusivi vicinissimi.

Hotelli lähellä yliopistoa
Perheen omistama pieni hotelli, jossa he myös asuvat, ja sijainti on lähellä yliopistoa. Kävely kukkulan päälle keskustaan voi olla rankka (~10min kävely pelkkää ylämäkeä), mutta hinta ja omistajien ystävällisyys on plussaa. Läheltä löytyy myös paljon paikallisten ja opiskelijoiden suosimia halpoja ja hyviä ei-turistiravitoloita. Olen käyttänyt samaa hotellia jo kahdesti kahden viikon reissuun ja varaan todennäköisesti myös seuraavaan kahden viikon työmatkaan.

Small Family Hotel
A nice family hotel near the main piazza. It took only 233 steps and a few uphill streets to climb to get there. Rooms are small and breakfast is practically non-existent.

Great location, kind owners, scary bathroom.
This is a mixed review. The hotel is run by a family who is really kind, but there was a lot of misunderstanding with checking in. I am very glad I brought multiple printed out copies of proof I paid for the room! The good things: the area is beautiful and very close to "downtown" Perugia. The room is spacious and comfy. The bad things: these are the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen in my entire life. Not really their fault since I guess that's how Europe is, but if you are a heavy set or large person, you will not fit into the shower or on the toilet. I'm not kidding. My tall, very thin lanky boyfriend almost had a panic attack and ended up waiting until the next night in Rome to shower. It was that bad and small. Seriously. Your knees touch the wall when you sit on the toilet, and I'm only 5'1"! The shower has an accordion door that when closed actually touches your body so that you can't turn around! Another unfortunate issue was the other people staying in the hotel were insane that night. Screaming at each other and their child all night long. Plus smoking until the entire hotel floor was filled with smoke. It was seriously unbearable and I wish the owners had stepped in. I'm just grateful it was only one night. So, yes, wonderful people, great location, but I could never stay there again.

The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was small. The shower would be difficult for a large person. The location was convenient, but meant a lot of uphill walking.

Nice and easy staying in the Chocolatte City
Hotel San Sebastiano is very well located and the family that runs it is very nice and helpfull. It is near the University of Perugia and you can go walking to the storic center.

Great location very helpful hosts
Quaint and charming hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners. I booked the single room no.9 for 40€. It was very clean. Good bed and good pillows. However I feel the room size is way too small and I would have been happy if I got a Room that small for 25€. Location is great for numerous trips to Centro. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very helpful owners.
