I liked the parking deck. It was nice to get in a car that was not sweltering. The unit I stayed in was well stocked with towels and washcloths.

Beach had tons of seaweed floating in the water, and it felt nasty. No ceiling fan in the master bedroom, and it needs one. Master bedroom has no beach view, even though most masters here do have a beach view. This condo claimed to be clean, but my kids bunk bed sheets had hair in them. The living room furniture felt very used. Very disappointed. We will not be back.

No drainer for the dishes. Television in the living room did not work. I reported it and there was an offer to send maintenance right away but we did not come to watch TV so we declined.

Locked Out- Bad Offsite Customer Service
Our door malfunctioned and the mechanism wouldn't unlock even with the right code. Things break, however, when we called for help no apologies were given and then we were put on hold multiple times then told to call another number to get maintenance ourselves. If you book this resort, keep in mind there are no onsite employees to help if you need assistance and the offsite customer service representatives don't care about your time.

Spacious condo on the beach. Super clean and comfy with a nice balcony view of the gulf. Really nice pool and quiet surroundings. Beach service was definitely a nice addition! Would stay here again!

Most convenient vacation rental we have ever had! Parking was steps away from the condo, the beach was easily accessible and the pool never had more than one or two other people in it.

Breath taking views
We were very comfortable at this condo for our 8 day stay. We loved that the unit had a washer and dryer along with most all the kitchen supplies that you may need. We really enjoyed watching dolphins and sting rays swim in the ocean right out front almost every morning while enjoying our coffee.

Great location but needs work
The price for our 1 BR condo wasn't the cheapest considering it was October. We expected the facilities to be nice given the price. Check in was simple even though the office was off site. Sheets, towels, countertops, etc. were all clean but there was quite a bit of wear and tear on the furniture. The balcony furniture was filthy and one chair was broken. We were without WiFi for 2 days because the desk clerk called in a work order to have it fixed and the maintenance guy didn't show until the next day. Even then he couldn't fix it. My husband had to show him what the router was and he just said "I'm not an I.T. guy" and walked out. The coffee maker didn't work so we had to find a Walmart to buy our own. Someone had taken the power cord to one of the TVs so my son who was sleeping in one of the bunk beds wasn't able to turn on his tv. It was not the worst place. The beach access was phenomenal because of the smaller size you were just steps from the sand. But because there were so many inconveniences we will be finding a new condo the next time we visit Okaloosa.

Condo was exactly as explained in the ads. Nice clean place with a great vi3ew from the 4th floor. Parking garage attached which is nice. Quiet location and close to lots of great stuff including beaches, restaurants and a short drive to Destin.

Only bad experience I had is when I first got there to check in I was told to three different places to check in other than that it was one of the best vacations I have been on the room was awesome the view was awesome no complaints here!

The location is a 10. You are directly on the beach so besides a million dollar view, it is convenient. The condo itself was just okay. There was no closet space. We had no place to hang clothes, so we laid them out on the bunk beds in the hallway. The bed needed a new mattress. Furnishings and décor need to be updated. Overall, I would rate the condo a 3 out of 5 and the location a 5 out of 5.

My only concern was that the check-in was not at the Hotel/condominium. No where in our confirmation instructions was there information about an off site check in. Check -in was at a Wyndham Resorts sales office, off site.

Nice condo very close to the beach
Our experience of the Fort Walton Beach was great; the waters was warmer than we thought, and swimming is possible in late December! The 3 bedroom condo was well-equipped, kitchen was clean and washer-dryer set was well-functioning; we stayed in unit #516, plenty of space for 8 family members. We enjoyed the beach as if it was an extension of the living room, overlooking through the veranda; the outside pools were biggest in the area that we've seen, open until 10PM; the dedicated and private access to the beach was awesome! This condo is like a home away from home, plus the Emerald Coast experience. The condo unit is locked by a personal combination key. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, plenty of storage. The dedicated parking area was great and easily accessible from the unit through the stairs or elevator; there's no extra fee to what we've paid through Expedia.ca. This is a great and worry-free experience.

OK, but not Outstanding
clean and very convenient to Beach. Furniture and furnishing well used and in need of replacement. Bedroom very small. Condo was comfortable for 3 or 4, but not for the six people as listed. Rental of condo does get two complimentary beach chairs with umbrella. In October the traffic was not bad and condo is well situated to restaurants in Ft. Walton and Destin.

The room was nice, only it didn't have enough of storage space, only storage was in the bedroom. It didn't have any for anyone sleeping where the bunkbeds where. Other than that the room was clean and we were able to park close to our room. The Weather during our stay was great even had a small thunderstorm on one evening.

Overall it was real nice
It was a nice stay overall . I hate complaining but only a few things were annoying. Our bedroom was close to the Exit . The outside Lights always on with light entering the Bedroom. Being light sensitive, We had to pin beach towels up to keep light out. Something could be done there. And the deck furniture could be more comfortable . Like loungers. But when it came to maintenance deficiencies, the staff was really good. Squeeky bed - Fixed that day. Poor internet. They took care of it well. Replaced the modem. They were very punctual to help. Check out 10:00 am - was a downer. Beach Chairs and Beach Umbrella were free which was nice . But I would go back

Very nice condo located on the beach.
We were pleasantly surprised to see the nice condition of the rooms. It has a full kitchen, comfortable beds, nice furniture, walk in closet and even a Jacuzzi in the bath room. The view of the beach was excellent from the bedroom or the living room balcony. Very close to anything you need, gas, groceries, restaurants, etc.

We were tod by Hotel.com rep at the time of booking there would be two beds in our room and a living room with a sofa bed, but we had one bed in the room and two bunk beds in the hallway. Thank god we had 3 kids not all adults. I was not told that I would have to go to a rental agency to pick up my reservation keys which I found out after getting to the hotel and calling the 800 number for Waters Edge.

High Price, low quality
When we arrived, the air conditioner was froze up; therefore, it was very hot. The stopper in the bathtub was inoperable as well. I couldn't fill the tub up in order to bathe my baby. We called to report the problem with the bathtub and it was not fixed until the following afternoon. The bed in the master bedroom was old and rickety. The maintenance department fixed the air conditioning on the second day as well. After those items were fixed, we felt more comfortable in the condo. However, the start of our vacation was rocky due to the problems in the room. The elevator was also unreliable. This was a nuance because I had my very disabled mother with us.

Upon arrival I had to go to another location about 2 1/2 miles away to get checked in. There I was charged a cleaning fee in addition to the daily condo rental fee. (Higher Than quoted per Hotels.com) I did not have it in writing so was sunk. Condo was nice but was not told I would need to furnish paper products and cleaning products. Soap & sample size shampoo was provided. Previous guest left about an inch of toilet paper. Wasn't prepare and only staying 4 nights so was disappointed that I had to go to the store and "stock up". Pillows were awful - (cheap and very flat) recommend you take yours. Good location. Not a lot to do if you like a busier area of Florida...February also cool and rainy. Likely will not go back and would definitely stay in a hotel for less money if only being there 4 nights.

Very nice...
We were surprised to find out upon our arrival that there was a housekeeping charge. This was never mentioned in any conversation with the hotel. Also, there was never a mention that we had to sign in at an off location site. These might be minor, but they both made for our initial contact ackward. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful. Thank you.

The location is awesome! Pool is very good, and the room was nice.(beds could be a bit more comfortable)The worst part was having to check-in with Resort Quest not the hotel!And you WILL be charged the extra cleaning fee. ( extra @ $150).

Hurricane Isaac couldn't keep us from fun.
We got there right at the tail end of Hurricane Isaac. We stayed in Suite 612 and it is very nice. Everything was clean except for the windows. We just assumed that was left from Isaac. They could post more information in the lobby on where to check in. It is in a different building a mile away. Mintenance was called when the bathroom door was locked and nobody in. They showed up in minutes. The pool was nice, the beach is right out your door. We will be going back next year with out a doubt.

Waters edge by resort quest in ft. Walton beach fl
I was not happy when we checked I'n to find out that we paid forva 2 bed/ 2 bath condo, but was down for a 1 bed room condo. This prolonged our check in time and was rectified, but shouldn't hAve had to go through that. Plus, nothing was specified to us that we needed to purchase our own toilet paper, garbage bags, and dish soap. Again, had to go out and get those supplies for our condo.
