The lady at reception was rude, and it seemed that she was only rude towards Asians.
we emailed to request for a pickup service from the train station, but no one showed up. We had to call the hotel using a payphone, and the lady who answered was very snappy. When she came to pick us up at the train station, she looked grumpy and did not offer any greetings or apologies.
breakfast, I was scolded by the same lady when i made the wrong selection on the coffee machine. It was very embarrassing for me at that moment as her loud scolding attracted the attention of every one present at breakfast. The lady expressed frustration and walked away, ignoring my apologies.
Our experience was made worse when we were declined our request for the complimentary transport to the train sration. We were simply told that there was no such service available despite this been clearly stated on the Web site when we first booked the hotel. The lady told us to take the bus to trainstaion ourselves. We had to wait for the bus which only came in 30min intervals, and because the bus turned up late we eventually also missed our train.
In fairness, the room and the view was alright. However the location is quite inconvenient unless you are driving.
Do note that there is no air conditioning nor refrigerator in the room.
