transportation is a perennial problem in Spetses, and Orloff suffers more as it is located uphill. other than that and the by need limited menu the hotel was excellent in terms of the rooms, the service of the friendly staff and the general ambience.

Hotel was beutiful , courtyard is reminiscent of a french country house. The staff at the desk were amazingly helpful and engaging, beyond what i've seen or would expect. Would really recomend. The room was the cheaper option, and wasn't impressive, but I suspect the larger rooms and villas are much more better. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and Rustic....but...
Really nice, cozy, rustic place. The only thing that made my stay less than perfect was that the second morning, I woke up to a trail of ants right near the front door. There was no food or anything around so I have no idea how this happened. Thankfully, I was leaving within the hour.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Orloff Resort. Although it's not right in the center of town, we enjoyed the walk (even in the July heat). There were plenty of places to rent a moped/bike/four wheeler but we did not feel it was necessary as they picked us up and dropped us off at the port with our luggage. After checking in we asked reception for some advice on beaches and they provided us with all of the information we needed. We stayed for three nights and spent two of the days utilizing the boats that leave from Dapia. We paid 8 EUR one day and 10 EUR the next for return trips to beautiful, small beaches. I highly recommend that option as we enjoyed the boat ride around the island. There is no reason to use an expensive water taxi unless you want to return at a specific time that is different from the boat's scheduled time. The pool at the hotel was also lovely. Breakfast was wonderful and the hotel was very quiet. We had a superior room which was perfect for two of us. All of the staff were very attentive. If we return to Spetses, we will definitely stay here again!

Cozy Elegance
We really enjoyed our stay at the Orloff Resort for several reasons - it's a sweet yet elegant Greek island style hotel in a great location with beautiful views, but the hospitality of Maria, Theodore and Angelina was the icing on the cake! We'll definitely be back!

Confortable et convivial
Nous avons passé 14 nuits au Orloff et nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir choisi cet établissement. Le personnel est très sympathique et l’hôtel très agréable. Un petit cocon niché au dessus du port, ni trop près ni trop loin. A quelques minutes d’un très joli lieu de baignade. Le Orloff a grandement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Pas de luxe tapageur mais un vrai rythme de vacances donné par la juste dose de toutes les attentions qui fabriquent les bons souvenirs.

Fabulous and wonderfully relaxing stay!
From beginning to end, the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. They provide a free transfer service from the flying cat/ dolphin port to the hotel and back at the end of the stay. The massage facilities were lovely and easy to book. The end of September was a fabulous time to come and the food, setting and everyone we met added to the fabulous atmosphere. The balcony room we had was just lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. Spetses itself is a real gem and we will definitely be back and would not hesitate to stay at the Orloff again. May be a little more difficult for those with mobility issues - the shortest way to the Old Harbour was down a hill with wide steps. There was a longer, flatter way down to the town on the roads but those with issues walking longer distances may want to consider contacting the hotel to ask about options.

Boutique hotel perfect for a quiet getaway
The staff were amazing- nothing was too much for them. They were present without being overbearing. I'd call it subtle charm. They hotel itself has a lovely genuine Island feel to it, like being in a little village rather than a hotel. The rooms had everything you could need. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a classy taste of Spetses life.

Small boutique hotel close to old town and 5 minute walking distance to local beach, Feels like a small family run hotel. Rooms and all common areas are kept very clean by a group of staff that are friendly, polite and always willing to help. Overall, very happy and impressed with our stay.

Such a charming and beautiful hotel. The staff were extraordinary nice and welcoming. Breakfast is good. This hotel is among the best boutique hotels we have stayed at. Definitely the best choice if you want to relax in a lovely setting and recieve good service.

A beautiful bolt hole
A beautiful stay in orloff. Attention to detail in every corner. A little far to walk to a beach but can hire mopeds very cheaply next door which made going to the beach a very fun experience. They have a restaurant at the harbor which served very good food but had disappointing service.

Off the beaten track....
A small friendly and clean hotel - well recommended. It is not really a hotel for children as apart from a small pool (which all rooms overlook) - there is little to keep them amused. Dont miss the Orloff restaurant in the old harbour....

Comfortable & Friendly
The Orloff was comfortable, clean & friendly. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel so I can't rate everything. The massage I had was very nice. There was free wifi available but this was not available in the apartment we were located in. I think we were in the 'old' apartments as we had very limited mobile reception and no wifi. However the wifi in the main area (near the pool) was strong enough for me to skype home. The hotel itself is very clean. They provide a pick up taxi service from the hotel and ferry port which was a nice bonus. Breakfast had plenty of options. There is a small shop within 1 minute walk from the hotel where you can pick up bottles of water and a bakery just around the corner too. Within 5 -10 minutes you can walk to sea and choose from a multitude of restaurants to eat at or choose to lie on the beach and drink cocktails.

Good relaxing hotel
Overall the hotel is good. It is nicely designed and even though it is a small hotel it feels spacious and comfortable both in the rooms and in the common areas (restaurant, pool). The rooms are traditional with modern accents and have all the amenities including a small fridge to store water etc. There is a nearby market to stock up. The breakfast is basic but fresh and compared to other small hotel breakfasts I had in Greece, it is one of the best. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the old harbour. But it is 15-20 minutes walk to the new port where you need to go to catch boats and buses to the island beaches. Hence it is a bit of a walk going down and uphill each time. At night time is not so much of a problem as there are many restaurants in the old harbour and you can limit walking time. Maybe next time I will hire a bicycle!The hotel staff is very friendly and service is very attentive. Our room was booked with two twin beds and when we arrived we got a room with one large bed with two single mattresses next to each other. That was disappointing as when you request two beds you assume they will be slightly apart. I will definitely go back. BTW if you book you can let them know and they will transport you to and from the port upon your arrival/departure on the island.

Really lovely, the staff were very friendly which always makes a massive difference. I thought it might be a hassle walking the 10/15mins into the main town, but it is such a lovely walk along from the old harbour that it was no bother at all. in fact it means you get to see much more of the town that way.

Hôtel exceptionnel
Service parfait, le personnel est au petit soin ! L'hôtel est très charmant, et bien situé près du vieux port, et reste à 15 minutes à pied du port principal. Les chambres sont très confortables, décorées avec goût, et toujours très propres. De plus, l'île est magnifique, et nous conseillons de louer un scooter ou un quad pour découvrir les sublimes plages. Bref, un petit havre de paix que nous recommandons vivement !
