It is a wonderful little hotel, nice restaurant and bar on site, nice pool and walking distance to playa conchal, if you can, get the ocean front room, beautiful view, private and you can hear the waves crashing all night.

What a hidden gem! Great location right at the beach. Had a nice pool. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Plenty of restaurants, bars and market next door.

There was literally nothing that I didn’t like about this hotel! If you’re looking for simple and affordable this is your hotel. I spent most of my money on leisure and activity. The staff was so helpful in booking activities for me and even coordinating rides! I’d book again for sure !

I loved the location of the property, 20 minutes to Catalinas, 15 minutes to Potrero, 30 minutes to Tamarindo and 5 minutes walk to Conchal. The staff was very friendly and professional. At night there’s a security guy watching the facility and the parking. The place was clean and they have a little bar/restaurant that is convenient. Costa Rica is such an expensive country and even for me who come from the USA and I was worried that everything was so expensive. I paid a high amount for each night but the hotel is very outdated and needs massive renovations. Management should do something about it. I usually pay the same at “Hilton Inn” in any state in America and those are fully renovated hotel. Also, they told me if I want to check out an hour later, for an additional cost. I have an Airbnb and I never ask my guests for extra money if they need to check out an hour later. Those we’re my only two complaints. Other than that, I would recommend it. Also please be aware don’t eat at the restaurant between the hotel and between the restaurant Brasilito, they ripped us off - food was raw and we got food poisoning and they charged us so much and it’s such a poor restaurant.

I did not like the street. It was very dirty and lots of drunk people around. Plus there were stray dogs everywhere. The pictures were not the same when we got there. There were no chairs in the beach like the picture showed. We only stayed for three days because we could even stay there.

What a great little place on the beach in the small town of Brasilito. Good bang for the buck. Very clean and the staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. This is a very basic hotel room. No micro, no mini frig in my room. No insulation or sound barriers. You will hear everything going on outside. It is quite most of the time but there are bars with music on weekends until 11 or little later They did a wonderful job with pool area and making it tropical and relaxing. LOCATION is Great. I had no car. Brasilito beach , your ion it. It’s not pretty until you walk either way! Conchal is an easy beach walk and a must. Tourist trap but well worth checking out. The pina colada in the pineapple with fresh fruit on it is a perfect size for the walk back Going towards Flamingo there’s more secluded areas to enjoy the beach Hotels happy hour is all day everyday!! Food was ok service was SLOW. Check out sodas next door and 2 doors done. US dollar has tanked there so things are Expensive. For the price this is a good value in a nice little native town. Everything you need within walking

Location - 5 stars, Parking - 1 star, Price - 5 stars, Amenities - 2 stars Authentically Rustic hotel but Great price for being steps away from beach. They have about 4 parking spaces, unless you want to get blocked in. Restaurant not open for breakfast and you have to go up the street to get ice if you want an evening cocktail in your room. The staff was friendly and the pool is very nice.

Great budget location right by the Playa Brasilito. Staff was awesome. pool was really great too! Authentic Costa Rican experience. Food in the restaurant was really good but pricey as is everything in the area. But having said that much cheaper than Flamingo Get a room with a fridge so you can keep groceries. It will save you money on restaurants

The hotel is very cheap! Staff does not care about their guests. I asked for more coffee one morning and was told they had already made 3 pots of coffee and wouldn't be making any more till the afternoon. Are you kidding me? Asked t2 staff where and when we catch the bus back to Liberia and followed their information and sat at a bus station for 2.5 hours and no bus ever showed which screwed up our whole day of travel to Liberia which we ended up taking an $80us taxi to Liberia. No safe in our room. No fridge. The nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Somebody lives behind the property was using a grinder from 6am to 1030pm, dogs barking and bars across the street playing loud music till midnight with no one in the bars? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it has dirty areas surrounding it and terrible restaurants(sodas) and nothing to do at night. Lots of homeless people surrounding the property which made us feel unsafe and unwilling to go out after 8pm.

Greetings Mr. Randy, we are very sorry for not meeting your expectations. we have coffee 2 times in the morning and 2 times in the afternoon as it is a courtesy coffee. We provide bus information provided by them but we do not work for bus companies to ensure that they will pick up their customers. the people who walk around the property in the village is part of the insecurity that is lived in some parts of the town, but in our property we have security!

The beachfront location was great. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool is nice, and the restaurant has good dinner options with an ocean view. They don't serve breakfast, but there are options right next door that offer takeout, so you can still have breakfast in the hotel dining area next to the beach. Best of all, Playa Conchal is just a short walk away. It's by far the best beach on the Pacific coast in the entire country. The water is crystal clear, unlike any of the several other beaches we visited on our 2-week trip. In addition, there are beach chairs and shade canopies available for rent.

Lo único bueno del hotel es que queda cerca de Playa Conchal. Quiero decir que Brayan es la excepción de este lugar, un muchacho con muy buen servicio al cliente, eficiente y con muy buena resolución de problemas. Ahora lo malo, apenas llegamos y nos dieron la habitación notamos que se filtraba el agua, la recepcionista Maciel trato de indicar que nosotros lo huéspedes habíamos causado el problema del agua que se filtraba desde la habitación de arriba lo cual no tiene sentido. Nos cambiaron de habitación a la habitación número 2, y un día antes del check out llegó la recepciónista muy mal encarada a tocarnos la puerta y a indicarnos que teníamos que desalojar la habitación, cuando le demostramos que nuestro check out era hasta el dia siguiente no se disculpó, hasta nos trató de cobrar más por un dia que ya teníamos pago, obviamente no pagamos de más. Hablamos con la dueña de la propiedad la cual la solución que nos dio fue movernos a otra habitación, porque en la que estábamos ya se la habían ofrecido a otro cliente. Finalmente nos dieron una noche gratis por si volvemos al hotel, obviamente no vamos a volver. Pésima estadía, no le recomiendo a nadie ir a este lugar.

Loved the Atmosphere of being in the Forest and yet the Beach was on its Foot step! The Locals were Friendly The Food was Great at the Restaurant! The Pool is Really Nice and the Rooms were perfect! The Town is Very unique and is very Walkable to Restaurants and Convenient Stores!

Honestly, if you are a couple traveling through Costa Rica i highly recommend hotel brasilito, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions we had ! Cheap and delicious food less than a minute walk away, same with supermarkets. The beach isn’t the greatest but it’s a 10 minute walk from the famous playa conchal! It’s a perfect destination for a few days of your journey

Great hotel!
We LOVED this place! It is in the heart of Brasilito right on the beach. You cannot beat the price of the rooms here! We stayed in the ocean front room, which has a porch to sit and overlook the waves. Now, this place is not fancy at all! Shower didn’t work great, but it was clean and comfortable. It is not a quiet, remote spot. There are 2 bars right next door, that played music from 11 am-11 pm every day. But it fits with the atmosphere. We did drive down to nosara for a bit more peace and quiet, so that is an option. It is a few minutes walk to Conchal Beach… beautiful! You can rent jet skis, ride horses and swim in the beautiful, warm ocean. I’d def recommend this place if you want to immerse yourself in the culture. The staff is amazing! So helpful and polite. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your awesome hotel!

Beach is right outside your door and super convenient stores next door. Great restaurants near you and within a few minutes driving. If you want a flavor of Costa Rica, this is your spot!

Great hotel for what you get. Steps to the beach and great restaurants. Everyone is so friendly. Room is basic but had AC, hot shower and the plunge pool was nice. A little loud at night time with the bars so close but not to bad. We managed to sleep though it :)

My husband and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in this authentic and beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating in every way. We quickly feel in love with the staff and the stay was wonderful. We loved the location and amenities the hotel has to offer. We will be going back as often as we possibly can.

Buenas noches, Estimado Don Alonso, Lamentamos mucho su experiencia y que no halla visto el guarda , , probablemente porque aun no estan uniformados, pero el suele estar en recepcion, por desde ahi puede visializar todo por las camaras. Le pedimos disculpas por lo del agua tamb ien, ya que son cosas que se nos salen de nuestro control, ya que debido a la construccion del puente nueve en el pueblo , han tenido que cambiar tuberias y la presion del agua bajo un poco, en esos dias .
