Thank you for taking time to review your stay with us Jerry! The process for card payments is an authorization on the card, which holds the amount on the card until the payment has processed. This happens at check-in. The payment isn't processed until you check out. It does tend to look like 2 payments but it's not. The authorization will drop off once your card company or bank drops it. We have only received funds for the amount of your stay and nothing else. If you have further questions, please contact us.

Our hotel looks the most damaged because we have vinyl siding and the rest are stucco. We are all waiting on insurance and contractors to get the ball rolling, until then it's just a waiting game. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you, and hope you'll be understanding of our situation.

We can only do so much without the insurance payout. All the hotels in town have been affected and we are all working towards getting things fixed.
