Great Place!
We stayed in the motorcycle mania cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was so spacious. Even though it was close to the road, it was fairly quiet. We were here for an overnight on New Year’s Eve. The location was perfect for commuting to Main St. We look forward to staying here again and explore the rest of the property and amenities.

This was our second stay at the property. We really enjoyed our first stay in April 2022 so that’s why we booked here again. We stayed in the Longhorn cottage previously and decided to try Motorcycle Mania this time. The cottage was decorated with motorcycle motif and it had a small sofa in it that my husband and I could sit together on to watch tv in the evening so that was a plus from the other cottage last time. But the issues I had with this cottage was as follows: 1) no dresser or working (the drawers didn’t open or were missing pulls) bedside tables to unpack our clothes from the suitcase. I had to put all our non hanging items in the bathroom linen/storage closet. 2) we arrived at the property around 5 pm. I walked into our cottage, it was freezing. The thermostat was OFF so the temp of the cottages was at 56 degrees! Seriously, couldn’t heat have been turned on but down so not to run all day? To have it off completely when guests arrive is just wrong. With the cottage being so cold, the bathroom was like an icebox. Not a welcome way to receive guests. 3) the shower consisted of one small hand held shower head attached to the wall. The water pressure was extremely low coming out of it so I couldn’t get the shampoo/conditioner rinsed out so had to finish in the sink. Also hot water ran out on me so husband had cold shower and bar soap provided fell to floor shattering. 4) need to provide “clean” sponge to wash dishes. Only a dirty sponge found under sink

Thank you for being a return guest and we are sorry that you ran into these issues. Normally, we do try and haved the temperature in room at comfortable level. We have also recently did maintenance on the water heater so hope that next time you come you may be more comfortable.

We stayed one night on our way to a relative Christmas dinner in Austin. The cabin was very well appointed and very clean. This made for a very nice stay. We would stay here again.

Girls Trip
This is the second time I stay here. First time was amazing. Second time, our room was not cleaned. Stuff in the fridge, the coffe stuff was all desorganized ,hairs on the floor and a used toilet paper. All we got from the person texting, was “do you need more toilet paper?” In the fridge there was a pint of ice cream and bottles of water. There was no apologizing but we enjoyed our stay besides all that.

Marisol, Im sorry your second time staying was not as enjoyable as your first. I did take a second to look back at our messages and from what I could tell, You seemed to understand that we do provide the waters for our guest. Im sorry our housekeeping over looked the ice cream in the freezer, however, in our messages you never mention any of the other things about the room not being clean. If I would have known I would have been happy to address the situation for you. Thank you for being a return guest and we hope you might consider staying at Vineyard Trail Cottages again.

This property is 15mins from main street, an easy drive. The room was clean, grounds was beautiful had a lake and fountain and an area with outdoor fireplace. I selected the Mustang room, there were rocking chairs and a swing on the patio. Adults only makes it a plus.

The place is really nice, the cottage very clean and well maintained. The are some options for eating and wine tasting on the surroundings. The only downside was the communication, tried to call the property many times in the morning but nobody answer, there is no front desk and they only send you the access code some minutes before the check in time.

We arrived about half an hour after the tasting room and eats closed… had we been informed there was such an amenity on-site we would have LOVED that experience. Sadly we had to drive offsite to dine at a mediocre nearby roadside dive. We did enjoy the pavilion with Google music. Nice overall… would rate it 8 out of 10…

Checkin was online only but worked ok. They forgot to empty the coffee pot from the last guest. Nice setting. Fairly quiet. No ice available.

It was a nice quaint little get away. Perfect for visiting all of the wineries up and down the road. It was only 15 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg which made it great.

We stayed in the Texas king cottage. It was very clean, Tx decor, super comfortable bed, the AC blew cold in 100 degree weather. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The cabin had a wraparound outdoor deck with seating. The property mgr sent a code the day of checking in. It’s a gated area, very quiet and well kept grounds. We did the river walk, it is a very short hike and it’s worth it. The property also has a large pavilion in the middle with seating, but we did not use it. We visited Luckenbach and Fredricksburg, both were very short drive from the cabin. If we ever get down that way again, we definitely will stay here.
