Nice&luxury family hotel
It was third time to visit henderson , i was really happy mood with all staff and some of them are remember me. I was in there with my family from korea they were really enjoy too. And this hotel have huge lobby with calm sofa to relaxing and drink some cup of tea. And private beach , nice swimming pool , and drop service which means if you dont have a car in destin ,however dont worry about that . Anyway i was great time to spend my holiday with my family in henderson.

I had such high hopes for this resort. So pretty. Looked high end. But the staff were very disorganized. Communication was a disaster. Everything was slow. The food was mediocre at best. Took two hour to be served at their restaurant. A lot of waiting time. Very expensive good that was either over cooked or undercooked. Couldn’t get them to fill our shampoo in the shower until I walked out at asked housekeeping in the hall for a bottle of it in my robe. Dusty dirty rooms. Hair ties under the bed. Hair in the corners. Bees nest on the decks. Just not very well managed. The managers tried very hard to accommodate us when we got frustrated with the service and food issues. But, their staff was not good. So things promised didn’t actually happen. I even have to give this resort a 1 star for privacy issues. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door. The housekeeping would try to come in. Sometimes with out knocking. Or wouldn’t give enough time to jump up and stop them. Trying to come in the room at 8:30 in the morning. We even get walked in on when showering. Very disturbing. This happened all week even after we complained.

Beautiful property, lots of things to do off property, too like shopping. The beach was very close within walking distance. Beautiful views and nice restaurants. I recommend! Wish my room had a long mirror but other than that very happy with my stay.

The front desk staff was pretty rude. And they had the cheapest toilet paper! However, the rest of the staff was wonderful. The grounds and the beach are beautiful and spotless. The resort was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable as were the robes. Lots of near by places to shop and eat. My daughter and I had a wonder vacation stay. We will definitely be coming back!

1. Valet, easy parking. 2. The place was great but the breakfast was really pricey and we just couldn't get our room to get cool. The down comforter was way too hot for a room that seemed to never get below 70. The thermostat said it was actually down to 65 but it had to be incorrect. We keep the temperature at our house at 67. There's no way it was an actual 65° in that room. 3. I knew it was a luxury hotel but we were inquiring about some drinks and some type of candy. I asked if they had any type of vending and the guy to front desk reminding me it was a luxury hotel and they wouldn't allow a vending machine on the property. He come across a little offensive. We travel a lot now that our children are grown and more than likely will never return. 4. There's also a $45 a day resort fee which we were not made aware of. I was not sweating paying the fee, but had no We were paying that till after we left.

It’s a congested area and there is active construction at the property. It’s not much of a value compared to Watercolor or Seaside home rental where you get better beach and atmosphere. Staff was great though.

Is clean property, has 3 different pools, small gym, dinner are okay, but they’re better options out of property. Careful with the bartenders in Horizon bar. Looks romantic in the night. Is few min away from the beach, if you want sand only they’re better options and cheaper. Maybe I can will comeback

Check in was terrible. Front desk was not helpful and put my children on the couch because they couldn’t give us the room we booked. Valet is 5 star but front desk had a bag full of can’t do and won’t do 0 stars. I don’t recognize this place after all of these years staying here

The room wasn't as pristine as I had expected for the price. We had a hole on one side of one of the beds and that was unfortunate. One phone in the room didn't work and you couldn't call down to the staff. Room service was too expensive, but that's normal.

Would have given a 5 star rating but was surprised and disappointed that was asked to pay $50 extra if I wanted a 2 hour late checkout. They did allow a 1 hour delay free

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The only thing that needs improvement would be the wait staff in the restaurant Primrose. Specifically the morning breakfast waitresses. I still left gratuity only because I’m a good person.

Was not told that half the pools were closed prior to arrival, also was not told there was an additional $25 a day parking fee on top of the resort fee

Thank you for your review and comments. We greatly appreciate our guest's feedback to evaluate our service to you. The Henderson does have a resort fee and additional parking fee for limited self-parking at 25 per night or valet for 35 per evening. Our Resort Fee is 45 per night plus tax. Like many resorts, keeping parking and resort fees separate from your room rate for the service that is provided is standard practice, and we also follow this standard.

This is one of our favorite place to stay we go several times a year. This particular trip was in January and my husband surprised me for my birthday with a stay at Henderson Resort. When the receptionist found out it was my birthday, she had a bottle of champagne and two flutes delivered to our room. Just a courtesy. So very kind! They have something new since our last stay, there is now a Starbucks machine that will make you a fresh coffee or a chai latte in no time for no additional charge! The rooms are beautiful with a beach-y look , very comfortable bed and temperature control.

Everything was great, but for the price point, l believe a nice bar of soap in the shower should be expected not push button dispensers.

Two nights in a row we could not sleep because of noisy neighbors! I was never told about the resort fee per night only the valet parking! When I got the bill it was shocking because I live on a budget and I could afford as much as I was charged! I thought the only extra Would be valet and if we charged anything to the room! I will not return to this resort!

The Henderson Beach Resort was lovely. The food was excellent, the rooms very well decorated and clean and the amenities like the pools and gym were top notch. We will be coming back.
