I like this hotel it was very clean and organized! Smell fresh! Bed was so comfortable it melted me to it lol (Didn't want to get out of it) oh and sheets FRESH i would definitely come back! And staff was very nice

The sheets were dirty on one bed and there was dog hairs under the sheets on the other bed, the shower floor was dirty, mold on the ceiling above the shower, i have knots on me from getting bit while in bed. I paid for a king suite but they put me in a standard double. Worst experience ever!

Dear Sherita,I am sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your last stay with us. Based on your comments, I did re-inspect the room that you stayed in. However, I was not able to find any evidence of mold on the bathroom ceiling that you mentioned. I did see stains on the ceiling that the housekeeper missed when cleaning the room. It wiped off without any problem. It was not a mold stain. Please contact us if you would like pictures of the bathroom ceiling. Also, the reservation you book on Expedia.com stated any available Studio Suite. We were sold out on the King Studio Suites that night, so the room type available was our Double Studio Suite. Also, I looked in the room history and the room you stayed in is not a pet friendly room, so no dogs had been in the room prior. Upon a guest checkout, a full cleaning of the room is performed. I did speak with the housekeeping staff to pay better attention when cleaning, so please accept our deepest apologies for falling below our normal standard of cleanliness. In the future, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can either resolve the either in the room or offer you another room to stay in. We want you to get a good night's rest. We hope you will give us another opportunity to change your "Worse experience ever" to a "Best experience ever".Respectfully,

Candle wood hotels are usually my go to hotel for one night stays. I have always been pleased. The hotel it’s self was good don’t get me wrong. I just have little picky quirks that bug me. For example there was only 2 pillows, the people above us stomped ALL NIGHT LONG. Just little stuff like that. Overall it was doable for a one night stay.

The hotel is not a kept or cleaned very often and it is completely evident. I ended up canceling my four days day and paying the night and moving to another hotel because it was so bad. The entire hotel rate of smoke and even though the pictures and make it look really nice it is not what it actually looks like.

First room we were given smelled awfully of smoke. When we went to complain and move rooms, two other guests were complaining about the same thing!

This is the first time I used Expedia to book a hotel room and i will not do it again. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work so we had to move. The property entrance was very dirty and hazardous since there was broken glass and other debris on the sidewalk to get to the entrance. Very disappointed since we have stayed in other Candlewood hotels. What will you do to make me change my mind about using your site again?

ANAZING STAY!!!!
Oh my goodness this hotel was the best!!! To before arrival questions being answered, that included a trip up to a room by staff, to easy check in and more! I was traveling with my elderly aunts for medical purposes and this hotel is amazing!!! The rooms are spacious, spotless, and so comfortable!!! Even noise from other rooms was no issue. I worried because my neighbors had dogs and some "active" children. Never heard a peep and slept like a log!!! All staff were more than gracious and accommodating and the hotel was so pleasant and clean. This will be our go to place for overnight stays in Little Rock!!!

Property was fine for the night. We didn’t all get pillows, when asked was told there was nothing he could do but he would look. My husband went down and he was able to find one but 3 pillows for 4 people. Also the bedroom was super warm that we ended up having to keep the door open. The rest was okay.

Checked in and was sent to a room that hadn’t been cleaned. Coffee was very weak, you could see through it. Elevator alarm was going off the entire time we were there.

Hotel seems old. Next door is motel 6 that looks like a crack house. I did not feel safe or clean while staying. The room above me had loud noises all night. The air conditioner only had 64 or 74

I really wanted to love this place. The room layout was perfect and had a mini kitchen which was awesome. They even had things in the lobby you could borrow like appliances and games. The check-in and check-out staff was friendly. Clean facility. Convenient location. There was no hair dryer in the room. The biggest disappointment was that the AC unit wasn't working properly. The window unit had a note to adjust the wall thermostat, but the wall thermostat wasn't even on (dead). I told the overnight staff and they were clueless. It was so muggy and uncomfortable trying to sleep. Thankfully the window opened so we could get a little air but it was loud outside. Anytime we left the room, it was especially miserable when we got back to the room... it would take about an hour for the window unit to slightly cool off the room. Also, the toilet was constantly running and was super loud when refilling the tank. Seriously, it was loud, and too loud for sleeping. I had to manually turn the water line OFF at night to get any sleep. Also we had problems with the room key. The card reader would flash green like the door was unlocked, but it wouldn't open, like it was hung up on something mechanical. Sometimes we would have to try a dozen times before it would open the door. It was very frustrating. I will not stay here again.
I wish every hotel had a mini kitchen like this. There were also dishes, utensils and pans to use.
The window unit says to use the wall thermostat
The wall thermostat won't turn on. Staff was clueless when I complained.

Extremely dissatisfied
I I was extremely dissatisfied with this hotel because I could not make the first night and I had gone to both the hotel and hotels.com to let them know that I would still need my room for Saturday night. Well I got to the hotel on Saturday and they had given my room way. So I’m really dissatisfied with both hotels.com and the candlewood hotel.
