The property is nice, the room we stayed in was quirky and clean. And welcomed with a wonderful basket of goodies.. BUT I had explained before that both me and my partner are vegan and vegetarian and we had gelatine sweets, and milk chocolate so it wasn't ideal for the vegan.
The breakfast was okay, but on the second day it was rubbish. No hash browns or veggie sausages for the veggie breakfast so we had baked beans, some mushrooms and tomatoes for the vegan breakfast. And not much was done to help or cater for us, and when I explained I was super disappointed I was told that it was because the shops were closed?
The service was okay, but the the reception is mostly closed so you just have to pop over to the neighbouring pub.
