This was an overnight stay before catching a flight. The amenities served the purpose of this perfectly. Deasmond on check in, provided excellent service and was very welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Had problems with extra nights on my card. My associate also had extra charges . Pay with cash. Don't use personal account or credit cards. Pay attention bro your bill before and after you leave. Overall the property was ok for a short stay.

Arriving I noticed two random people just hanging out front of the building. Couple of the rooms from the parking view were missing screens for the windows or they were hanging off broken. The man at the desk did not greet me as I stood there waiting to check in. After about 2 min, he stated that someone else will be right with me in a few. Then he went to the back and said ok I’ll take you as if I was an inconvenience. Was not pleasant. No customer service skills at all. Just gave the key cards and sent me on my way. The hotel smells. No comforter for the bed. The room was equipped with one bar of soap, 2 towels to dry off with, and 2 bath towels. Picture didn’t really match up well with the room that was online. The parking lot had trash in it around back and random people in the parking lot just hanging out. One of the cleaning staff seemed to be wearing a bonnet while working. There’s foot traffic all through the night. I woke up around 2 am and didn’t sleep until 630 am because of people coming and going from the staircase and walking the halls. Or people above stomping and running in their room. It seems that people are actually living there. I don’t think anyone mans the desk until 11am. There’s a button to press for service. Don’t think that worked. I would not bring my children here, nor will I return. 0/10 do not recommend.

I pulled up and there were so many ppl standing out side drinking. I walked in and no one was around to help for a solid 15 mins. I walked in the room and I was very very very disappointed

They had roaches which is bad because the basic amenities i would have gotten at other hotels I would have to pay for at this hotel which is terrible being the fact it had roaches if other hotels weren’t booked I would have gone there I definitely had to spray my bags and clothes down before getting on a plane to go back home smh

Not an Extended Stay for Us
Terrible conditions. After a long day on the road we looked forward to a good rest. Instead we encountered roaches. After we reported this to management it was acknowledged the room was recently sprayed and they did not have another room available that night. We spent an uncomfortable night there and checked out in the morning.

Stayed here for only one night because it was one of the only hotels in Charleston that had rooms available at not too high of a price; as there was a popular concert in the area. Wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed at but certainly wasn’t the best! Extended stay “IS IN” the name and very evident that most occupants “Live” there. Room was alright, clean at least. However, overall newer building that felt old and run down but works for a one night stay when there’s nowhere else.

This property is all over the place. It feels like corporate has neglected this property and is literally offering subpar stay for the money you spend. The bed was uncomfortable and the furniture was just ugh depressing. There was a mop bucket chilling in the hallway both days I was there. No matter the budget of the customer visiting they shouldn’t have to endure the state of this property. The people running the property did the best they could with what they have. I do not fault them, I lay blame on the senior leadership in corporate that are obviously laughing all the way to the bank.

Their "system" was down! Could not check into room
I arrived late night after a long business trip. Parking was terrible I had to park in a different hotels parking lot where I had to wait for 40 minutes for the front desk attendant to decide to answer a direct "late-night" check-in line to be told I could not check in due to the "system being down", and it being past midnight, I was unable to be allowed access to my room which I had already been charged for. Customer service was not helpful and seemed to hold me accountable for the error in their system. Upon returning to my car several questionable characters could be seen opening up car doors from what I could tell. My 7 month pregnant wife and I were forced to sleep outside in our car amongst the fortuitous calamity that is the Extended Stay of Ashley Phosphate.

No one ever at desk, had to call and call to get checked in. Attendant was unapologetic and not friendly and very slow. Refrigerator didn’t work, dripping noise in bathroom vent, and the headboard was dirty. I got a call saying I left things in the room and they wanted to know if I was staying another night. I hadn’t left anything, I think someone took the key out of the drop box and used my room after I checked out.

We didnt even walk in the hotel to check in. As soon as we pulled up in the parking lot you got an uneasy feeling. I have no words..
Upon walking into the room we couldn’t breathe because of the overwhelming smell of must and mildew. The room didn’t look like it had been cleaned at all. There was dog hair all over the bed, hair all over the bathroom and the kitchen sink area was dirty. There was also loud awful music blasting a few rooms down. We checked out immediately after arriving to our room and went elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
My family and I are relocating to the Charleston area and we needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks until our house is ready. We thought it would be a good idea to stay at a place that had a kitchenette, so we booked a room at Woodspring Suites. During check-in we asked the lady at the front desk if the place was safe for our 17 yr old daughter. She said it was fine but just don’t let her be out after dark by herself. 😳 As we took our things up to our room, a lady that was staying there got on the elevator with us. She could hardly keep her eyes open and was slurring her words trying to talk to us. You could tell the lady was on something so we just remain quite for the rest of the elevator ride. Once off the elevator we started walking to our room. There was several people in the hallway hanging around, talking, and being extremely loud. Once in our room we just stood there, looking around. It was nothing like the pictures shown on the site and you could tell it hadn’t been updated in a while. I noticed the floor had some water on it so I got some paper towels to wipe it up. When I looked at the paper towel in my hand I noticed it was black from the floor not being cleaned properly. That’s when we got our belongings and headed to the front desk to cancel our reservation and ask for our money back. They man said they had to charge us 125$ for the room for one night, and for us having a dog, even though our 15lb dog was never in the room. 😤

Roach hotel at it's finest
First the stay was nice on pictures, but the room itself lated a few days before the roaches started showing. The house keeping NEVER came and you had to go to front office to get tissue paper, and they act as if it was an inconvenience to provide customer service. The walls are paper thin, you constantly hear people door slam shut, people dropping and moving things around. Then I had a maintenance man come banging on my door, and luckily I had the top lock locked, and when I asked who was it, he starts cursing at me. And let me not forget the rudest front desk person EVER, DESMOND!!!! my wife was ordered on bed rest due to her pregnancy risk, and she sent our 10 year old who was on speaker with her at all times to get tissue paper, and the guy ask her where's her parents ..so my wife calls down to inform her of her health issue and he immediately curses her out and hangs up the phone. he was extremely unprofessional and rude for no reason at all. And we were was on the second floor non smoking, and the people next door was smoking in the bathroom which was leaking into ours, and the front desk ignored all complaints of my asthmatic daughter being present when it occurred. The outside at night had drug dealers and drunks, the front desk guy was a party of the people of outside. But the only thing positive is when Desmond was off and Catherine was working because we got superb customer service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, the guy is extremely rude and nasty.

Not happy with my stay there.
They don't provide any cook wares. Why have a hotel with a kitchenette if you can't cook if you choose to. They want you to buy it from a store. I will never stay there anymore. I don't understand that.
