Missing this place already
The people who work here are beyond amazing. Very courteous, thoughtful, helpful individuals. The food was top notch. Oddly, I miss their version of chimichangas! If you look at google maps, there’s a shortcut down the hill to the beach. I walked it every day. Honestly, I walked to the yellow bridge and to Ceningan as well. The dogs barking at night was my only complaint. Everything else was perfect! Thank you for having us!

We arrived earlier than check in time and the staff quickly managed to get the room ready for us within 15 mins. Great service and excellent food. The taste, quality and portion sizing were great at the restaurant. We could watch the sunrise from our bed. Scooters available for hire for a short ride down to Mushroom beach.

Lovely place, terrible experience
+ great pool and beautiful view, delicious food in the restaurant. Rooms are beautiful and bathroom clean. However.. - Dogs barking in the night. Some kind of animal was “eating” or scratching on the roof 4am one night. We had to hit the roof where the sound came from to make it disappear. Worst of all - cockroaches! One dead on the floor and one jumped at me when I was picking up something on the bench. I brushed it of in panic and it disappeared behind mini bar. I told staff. They laughed and tried to catch it, but it hid in the walls. Staff left. Same evening we saw it on top of the mosquito net, we tried to push it down and off fell a lot of dirt (dead bugs). No wonder the bug likes it there if they don’t clean the roof of the mosquito net. Overall - okey stay. Lovely place, terrible experience.

Väldigt fina bungalows med bekväma sängar! Poolen var guldvärd men tråkigt de växt upp träd som tog bort utsikten på de flesta ställen. Stannade 4 nätter och åt middag på restaurangen varje kväll, otroligt gott!

We spent 2 weeks there. You have everything you need and a lot more. After this time we felt we were part of the family. Leaving this place felt like leaving home.

Nice place with good service and a nice view. If you’re traveling solo, I would only recommend staying here if you’re planning to use a scooter to get around otherwise it’s a bit difficult to get anywhere.

Nice room - strange breakfast
Room was nice but very small, bathroom was bigger and very clean. We booked with breakfast and were only given coffee, fruit & toast. There is an extra cost of you want anything else from the large breakfast menu which was a bit strange as breakfast in Bali have always come with a hot option banana pancake etc. A little out of the way but nice views over the island

Nice hotel
Overall great hotel but just not close to much. Have to get a taxi or scooter to move around the island. Seems to be secluded from the main area.

Saimme edullisesti vuokrattua hotellilta skootterin, jolla matkasimme joka päivä ympäri saarta sekä sillan kautta viereiselle saarelle. Lovely quiet spot with views out to the water. Room very clean with comfy bed. Food from their restaurant was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had bikes there for hire so it it was very convenient. Originally booked for one night and ended up extending to 5.

Quiet and secluded
I booked D'MAS Huts after reading the reviews. We visit Nusa Lembongan for a month every year & stay at the beach. I wanted a change of scenery for 5 days while my husband was diving in Sulawesi. I'm so pleased with my decision. The huts are well-appointed, with good lighting & mini bar. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality sheets, pillows, duvet & mosquito net. The air conditioning was powerful. The blackout curtains would be useful for those who don't want to get up to watch the incredible sunrise opposite the property, though it's worth the early start to the day. The bathroom is slightly open at the ceiling, as is typical in this kind of accommodation. The shower was powerful, with plenty of hot water. Good quality bath towels, hand towels & pool towels are provided. There are enough sun loungers & sun umbrellas for all guests. The pool was clean & not over-chlorinated. The breakfast included in the room rate was huge! I had all my meals here and they were very tasty, perfectly cooked & very inexpensive. I found the owner, Nyaman, very friendly & helpful. Charming! The rest of the staff don't speak as much English as he does, but we managed fine. I wandered along the roads near the property & passed the time of day with local people, but it's a bit too far to walk to the nearest village & beaches. Renting a scooter to explore the island is an option. The roads around here were not as bad as some reviews suggest. I found the perfect escape here & will return.

Nice Room, but staff wasent really attentive
We really liked the Huts, the garden & the pool, but the bathroom wasn't that clean (and they didn't seem to clean it everyday). The staff was more annoyed than helpful when we needed them. One day we had to wait for 45min. to even order the breakfast (even though there were 4 people there, who couldn't help us).

Nette Zimmer in einer tollen Anlage
Wir waren für 4 Übernachtungen im DMas Huts Lembongan und hatten dort eine sehr angenehme Zeit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen über einen eigenen Kühlschrank. Zudem sind die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen war sehr gut, obwohl die Portionen teilweise etwas kleiner sind, dafür ist es sehr schön angerichtet und man sollte umbedingt den Burger probieren. Die Hotelbetreiber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommen. Mit dem Roller, den man sich in der Unterkunft mieten kann, kann man von der Unterkunft aus alle interessanten Punkte problemlos erreichen. Würde würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in!
Amazing place, everything was perfect. Really nice bungalow looking out over the strait between Lembongan and Ceningan with a comfortable and clean bedroom and modern bathroom with actual hot water which I've found rare. The breakfast was huge, plenty given but it can take time to all come so allow yourself the time. It was also very tasty. Pool area very good and overlooking the same view. Staff really helpful and polite with good English. The owners son sat us down on arrival and talked us through everything and any questions over a welcome drink. The food there is great also, we ate for dinner there, saves trekking down to the coast for food. The only negative is the location, which is also the beauty of this place. It's just in the middle of nowhere on top of the island with nothing really near it and a good 30 minute walk to the bottom (I'd advise on not getting a motorbike, the road are horrendous!). We were due to get picked up from the hotel by Scoot Cruises for our boat to the Gilis but it never turned up! So last minute the owner and his son offered to take us there on their motorbikes with all our luggage to ensure we didn't miss our connection. Really appreciated! Great place to stay and so cheap!

Lugnt fint ställe beläget högt upp på Lembongan. Om du hittar genvägen genom skogen är du nere vid Gula Bron på ca 15 minuter. Precis vid hotellet finns inte så mycket att göra eller äta, men flera ställen finns nere vid vattnet. Det tar ca 25 minuter att gå till den lilla huvudgatan där det finns flera restauranger. Hotellet var väldigt rent och fint, mycket lugnt läge och härligt poolområde. Perfekt för ett par avkopplande dagar

eine ruhige Oase für top Entspannung
Eine Oase der Ruhe. Natürlich hört man im Bungalow die Tierwelt von draussen,aber ausser ein paar Ameisen im Badezimmer waren keine kleinen Tierchen im Zimmer. Nettes Personal,nur der Herr kann etwas Englisch. Die Hausdame ist schwer zu verstehen,aber super freundlich. Top Pool! Gute Roller zum Ausleihen (Dreambeach ca 10 Min entfernt) Frühstück einfach aber gut!

Home Away From Home
We had an amazing time at D'Mas Huts! The room, swimming pool and the whole property was clean and well kept. Breakfast and food at the restaurant were delicious. Considering that my children are picky eaters, they loved the dishes that we ordered. Though the place itself is a little bit far from all the actions of the island, it makes the ambiance more relaxing and besides they have scooters/ motorcycles for hire in case one wants to go around. But what we love most about this property is the service. Noman and his crew were very warm and accommodating. They made us feel at home. We will definitely come back and recommend this to our family and friends!!!

nice but isolated
Dmas Huts is a collection of about 7 nice "bungalows" situated around a small pool and landscaped area. It sits high up with a decent water view and a great sunrise view. The roads on Lembongan are interesting/ fun, being narrow and rough and to get to Huts, you traverse a lot of road through the jungle. get one of the local maps, you will need it. My room was very nice, clean, mosquito netting for the bed, which added to the mystique/ romance of the wooden bungalow. The bathroom was in the back of the room, and felt outside even though it was enclosed, unusual at first but very functional. There is a small but nice infinity pool overlooking the view. Food, for all meals was surprisingly good. Huts is very isolated and no transportation was provided by the facility except scooter rental, which was on property. The island was not very busy, traffic wise, and I loved exploring the entire area on the scooter. The isolation, lack of transportation, and some hassle/ question on charges were the reason for the lower rating and service rating. If you want a quiet and beautiful place to veg-out, this is a great place

Cosy little accomodation in Nusa Lembongan!
D'Mas huts is a great place! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere away from the busy part of Lembongan (at the end of a long dead-end sideroad), wonderful view across the channel between Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan with sunrise view, infinity pool, and nice small bungalow-style accomodation! Highly recommended.

Wonderful little hide away on top of the hill
Very friendly owner and excellent team work, you treated us like stars :) The food is also delicious and there is a lot of choice to have different tastes every day. You can rent scooters at the place and everything is easy. We're thanksful

I was initially very skeptical about staying at this hotel given the fairly low nightly rate. After reading the reviews i felt more comfortable with our booking but still skeptical on how our stay will actually be. I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers that you get nothing but 5 star treatment while staying here. Newman and his family did nothing but to make us feel welcomed at their hotel. We loved their hospitaly from the minute we got there until the end. We also loved the infinity pool and the outdoor showers. Thank you for everything, from Sonia and Soheyla

Fantastisk dejligt sted, med rare små nybyggede hytter. Dejlige senge med myggenet og a/c på værelset. Kun fem hytter rundt om en lille frodig have med pool, og en fantastisk udsigt. Maden var noget nær det bedste vi har fået i vores tre uger på Bali. Burde have 5 stjerner i stedet for 2.

Comfortable Room With a Stunning View & Great Pric
Me and my gf had a great time here. The bed was incredibly comfortable with really soft sheets. The view over the river and sea is plain stunning. One of the best in the area. Food was great all around although portions could be a little small (I eat a lot). Owner was friendly too :)

Nice, homely atmosphere. There is essentially nothing to see or do around and the location is in a rural, less populated area but if you want quiet and don't mind being removed this place will do you good.
