Special Place, Wonderful Stay
The hotel was amazing...simply top notch. From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the setting to the food, we could not have wished for anything better. Went with 3 friends and I would love to go back with my husband. Sooo beautiful and serene and again, the staff made this one of our best resort stays to date.

11 pot of 10, stunning comfortable hotel.
Healthy, delicious, plentiful breakfast I’m lined with your room, exceeds expectations. Beautiful grounds, multiple pools, gorgeous rooms with the most comfortable beds. The location is walkable to many nice spots and plenty of restaurants. The restaurants at the resort are very good. Splurge for the Michelin Stared places, because the other restaurant, is good but still expensive, pay the extra and have something great. Service is good, especially the housekeeping staff. The spa is fabulous! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Great spot
Beautiful hotel. Old school property but not in a bad way. We stayed for four nights and didn’t really leave. The food is great and the area near the water is pretty magical. Sunsets here are great. Service is exceptional. That being said, the hotel isn’t brand new or modern but who cares? I’d recommend and return for sure.

Beautiful location
This resort is located in an unbeatable location with a magnificent view over the sea and other islands. The service is friendly but lacks professionalism at times, especially in the Michelin-starred restaurant Il Cappero where we felt rushed through the 10-course tasting menu and where service was alternately over-bearing (having the staff stare at you while you're eating) but also inattentive (staff didn't notice that a glass of water had been spilled and rarely topped up our wine). The fabric of the hotel is also somewhat disappointing, especially given the extremely high price point for the accommodations. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious and in general the hotel is showing its age. The pool and sea swimming areas are very beautiful but the facilities in them are in a poor state of repair, with showers not working and all the water jets in the heated pool not functional. Overall, this is definitely the best hotel on the island, but it is significantly over-priced given the state of repair of the property and the inconsistent service. The food is excellent but expect to pay significantly more than on the mainland.

Dear Akiko, thank you for taking the time to to express your feedback concerning your most recent stay in Vulcano. I think the biggest problem was the linguistic barrier, because in fact if you remeber we had several message with google where we trired to explain the real situation. when you arrived in the hotel was the last day of our Michelin star restaurant Il Cappero (was fully booked) and with our effort we have found a table for you. In the hotel as per our several message and our website we have opened other 2 restaurant: L'Arcipelago is our sicilian steck house (where you had the breakfast) I Grusoni our mediterranean restaurant facing on the pool. Regarding the number of staff we had the number for gurantee the standard as all the 5 star hotel. 勿体ないの一言です 丁度レストランやホテルがクローズ直前だったのもありますが… スタッフも少なく、ホテル内レストランはメニューが乏しく利用しませんでした。 あんなに素敵なロケーションなのに残念としかいいようがありません

Luft nach oben!
Das Hotel lebt von seiner Lage und Ausstattung, die sind toll. Die Mitarbeiter sind zum Teil sehr freundlich aber zum Teil auch nicht sehr professionell. As Zimmer war gut und sauber. Der Fitnessraum leider nicht sehr sauber. Das WLAN ist im Zimmer schwach. Die Preise für Getränke und Speisen sind etwas überteuert für die gebotene Qualität. Ein schönes Haus aber der Gesamteindruck ist nicht ganz überzeugend.

This was a beautiful resort to stay in. The rooms all had an amazing view, they were very comfortable and clean. The staff were very warm and welcoming and could not do enough to assist you. We found no fault whatsoever with this resort and would with highly recommended to all.

Beautiful resort on Vulcano Island, sicily
What a wonderful ending to an amazing trip around Italy. The rooms, staff, food ,d surroundings were all five star. Plus to top It off they have a 1 Star Michelin restaurant. Absolutely not wonderful stay.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Die Lage mit Blick auf alle anderen Liparischen Inseln (nur Salina ist weitgehend von Lipari verdeckt) ist atemberaubend. Man kann sich kaum sattsehen. Eine bessere Lage auf den Liparischen Inseln gibt es nicht. Das Hotel entspricht weitgehend dem 5-Sterne-Standart. Der Service ist in allen Bereichen des Hotels sehr gut und freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben sind aus diesem schon sehr hohen Niveau die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant „Il Cappero“. Auch der Sommelier ist eine besondere Erwähnung wert. Wir haben dort von unseren 8 Abenden viermal – und das mit Freude – gegessen. Das Essen ist auf jeden Fall den Michelinstern wert, es erinnert stark an die Küche von Nino Di Costanzo im Restaurant „dani maison“ (früher „Il Mosaico“) auf Ischia. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist angenehm und der Blick auf Meer und Inseln hervorragend. Die beiden weiteren Restaurants des Hotels sind von der Essenqualität und der Speiseauswahl deutlich schlechter und eignen sich allenfalls zum Lunch. Im Restaurant „I Grusoni“ sitzt man allerdings auch sehr gut und hat den schon beschriebenen Blick. Es ist aber kein Abendrestaurant, so dass wir zweimal zum Dinner nach Lipari ins Restaurant „Filippino“ gefahren sind. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlende Fischküche mit hervorragenden persönlichen Service. Mit dem Taxiboot auch eine schöne Heimfahrt (10 Minuten) über das nächtliche Meer. Das Hotelfrühstück ist verbesserungsbedürftig. Bei zufriedenstellenden Service

Fantastic views at a comfortable destination
We spent only one night here but could happily have stayed longer. The resort was nice and quiet during our stay amid sometimes-stormy weather and the outdoor deck of our comfortable broom had a great viee of Stromboli and the other Aeolian islands when conditions allowed, plus the many passing boats and ferries. Staff were invariably happy to help but not always helpful - there needs to be a bit more basic info on hand both before and during a stay, such as a simple resort map (it's fairly complex!), up-to-date ferry timetables etc. All else was great.

A little paradise on earth! Excellent resort, the staff is resourful and welcoming, the infinity pool is amazing, the ocean access is great, and the Shuttle service with a current itinerary. The three different restaurant makes our stay effortless. Ilcappero restaurant was excellent, but menu was the same as two years ago.

Mooiste uitzicht op alle Eolische eilanden tegelijk bij helder weer. Spectaculair. Alle wensbare comfort. Prijzen bar en restaurants overdreven hoog maar zeer goede alternatieven in de havenbuurt als je van verse vis houdt. Gratis shuttle beschikbaar met voldoende frequentie. Zeer mooie spa met heel vriendelijke bediening. Minpuntje is ontbrekende strand.

La vue est à couper le souffle, les couchers de soleils splendides. Vue sur le Stromboli et les îles. Le spa est agréable. La piscine à débordement avec la vue sur la mer est très appréciable. Les restaurants sont toutefois quelque peu décevants.

This is a beautiful hotel with stunning views
Beautiful hotel with stunning views. We weren’t happy with our original Om but the reservations manager Lorena was beyond helpful in upgrading us so we were very thankful.

Perfect way to spend a honeymoon
Therasia resort was everything we hoped it would be. Excellent 5* service, fantastic location and views, beautiful room with balcony overlooking the island of Lipari. Food was excellent including the Michelin Il Cappero resturant. The island of Vulcano has some great attractions, although you can get around everything in a few days, after that if you wanted to keep busy it would be boat trips and island hopping. Be sure to catch a red sunset, some of the most beautiful I have seen.

Un petit paradis
Situation exceptionnelle, service irréprochable, navettes fréquentes et gratuites vers le port, bon conseils pour excursions. Le restaurant principal est à améliorer au point de vue carte et choix.

Top global hotel stay for views & comfort
Therasia was our favorite stay during our holiday visit to Sicily. The views of all 5 other Aeolian Islands and seeing both sunset and sunrise was unbelievable. Visiting Vucalno for the hike up and to relax on our way to Stromboli.

眺めが素敵なリゾートホテル
テラスから見渡す景色が何よりも素晴らしいホテルです。 特に夕焼けの美しさは筆舌に尽くしがたいものがありました。 部屋も綺麗で清潔感があり、従業員の方はとても親切でした。 朝食は種類が豊富でおいしかったです。 また、泊りに行きたいと思います。

Beautiful secluded location.
Therasia is a secluded resort located on the northen tip of Vulcanello. The hotel features an outdoor and indoor pool as well as two salt water baths and a pontoon to dip in the sea. There are 3 restaurants, one outdoors by the pool ideal for lunches but only open in the evening during peak summer. The 2 indoor restaurants vary from the fairly priced Italian seafood cuisine to the more Haute cuisine, Michelin-starred Il Cappero. The set menus are expensive but are an experience in tasting finely tuned dishes by the 29 year old chef. The pool has lunch and drink service with buttons to call service on the tables. Deck chairs are comfortable and plentiful with space between groups. The spa is also calming with massages and treatments available to book. The room fridge has complimentary drinks and the rooms were cleaned twice daily.
