Agradable estadía en Casa de la Vega
Considero que me fue muy bien. Para quien gusta de lo antiguo o clásico, es una excelente opción. Creo que la limpieza no tuvo falla alguna, así como el trato amable del personal (Alfredo y Gabriel), con quienes quedé muy agradecida y, de hecho, me gustaría volver con fines turísticos y me volvería a hospedar ahí.

Fair for short stay
It is an authentic building with lot of charm but it is quite difficult to sleep at night if you are located on the 1 st floor. You can hear everything happening in the room upstairs.

O hotel funciona numa espécie de casarão colonial e isso se reflete na hospedagem. O quarto tem um tamanho bom e a cama no geral é confortável, não tem ar condicionado mas não foi um problema porque estava frio, oferecem calefação. O banheiro não tem fechamento no box de banho e isso é ruim pela questão do frio. O staff do hotel é bastante simpático e prestativo. A localização para quem quer andar pela candelaria é excelente. O cafe da manhã não é buffet mas é servido na mesa, o que não é nosso sistema preferido mas funcionou bem.

Un poco sobrevalorado
La ventaja del hotel es su ubicación en la zona turística de Bogotá y las distancias para caminar a los principales puntos de interés del barrio La Candelaria son muy cortas. En general, las instalaciones del hotel se ven algo viejas y con falta de mantenimiento. La habitación que me asignaron en un inicio olía mucho a humedad y tuvieron que asignarme otra de manera temporal por una noche. Las habitaciones no están aisladas por lo que puede llegarse a sentir frío por la noche; sin embargo, tienen cobertores adicionales disponibles.

The hotel is conveniently located, perfect for sightseeing. The room we had faced the courtyard so it’s nice and quiet. The room was spacious and the bathroom was newly remodeled although the doors were very old and the locks seem shaky. The staff was helpful.

Es un hotel más viejo de lo que parece y caro
El hotel tiene buena ubicación si lo que quieres es estar a unos pasos del centro histórico de Bogotá, sin embargo en las fotos de esta plataforma no se aprecia correctamente el estado del mismo, ni de las habitaciones, ya que el hotel es viejo y caro para lo que ofrece, lo rescatable es la cercanía y que los de la administración son atentos, de ahí en fuera, lo recomiendo? Si, si no hay otra opción!

The staff here was very amiable and helpful. Despite a fairly busy street out front our 2nd story room facing the street was very quiet due to updated double windows. The property itself is a classic hotel from early last century with many charming design features. Do not expect a new modern hotel but instead enjoy a visit to a previous place in time.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic colonial building a minute away from Plaza de Bolivar right in the middle of La Candelaria Bogota’s historical neighborhood. Rooms are clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, there is good free wifi, You can dine in the hotel or try one of the several superb restaurants and bar around.

Localização perfeita
Pra quem quer aproveitar o centro histórico de Bogotá o hotel tem uma localização perfeita. Seguro e perto de tudo. Se faz tudo a pé. O hotel é um casarão antigo muito estiloso. Uma graça. A Angela da recepção é fantástica. Atenciosa, eficaz, muito simpática e prestativa. O chão de madeira do quarto fac um barulho meio tenebroso mas até isso deixa o local mais charmoso. Adorei. Nota 10.

Séjour calme et agréqble
L'accueil est très bonne. La chambre (je n'ai pas pris une chambre de luxe) est assez lumineux, sans aucune vue sur l'extérieur. L'isolation sonore est satisfaisante, je n'entends pas du tout les voitures. Pour la chambre que j'ai occupé, il serait bien qu'ils ajoutent une table où l'on pourrait travailler confortablement (prise électriques multiples et adaptateurs). Le signal Wi-Fi n'est pas très fort, mais suffisant pour les connexions de base (cartes, e-mail, réseaux sociaux). L'hôtel se trouve dans le quartier culturel, très proche du musée Botero et de la grande place. Le restaurant n'offre pas beaucoup de choix, mais le plats qu'ils proposent sont correctes. Difficile de trouver une bonne salade "à la française", juteuse, craquante, savoureuse...mais, bon, on est pas en France, là, hein !? ;-)

Charming in Candelaria
Fabulous colonial small hotel. Very convenient and centrally located in Candelaria. The staff are amazing from the reception, to cleaning, to breakfast. Really enjoyed the character of the building and all day coffee and tea in the breakfast area. The neighbourhood gets quiet at night but there are a number of cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. I highly recommend this place, in fact I’ve enjoyed it so much I have booked to stay here again at the end of my trip.

Hôtel charmant et tranquille
L’hôtel est charmant et très bien situé, le personnel est très aimable. La petite cour intérieure est vraiment accueillante, même si plutôt petite. La chambre que nous avons partagé avec mon fils était grande et confortable et donnait sur la coursive intérieure. Les bruits de la route nous ont donc été épargnés, mais nous n’avions pas non plus de fenêtres dignes de ce nom (elles donnaient elles aussi sur la coursive et n’offraient que peu de clarté). En outre, l’hôtel est mal isolé, les portes sont très minces et l’on entend les autres hôtes marcher ou parler dans les escaliers. Les nuits étaient très calmes, mais si l’on est sensible, il ne faut pas compter dormir le matin. Le petit déjeuner, servi dans une jolie salle sans prétentions était bon, mais un peu monotone après plusieurs jours. L’un dans l’autre, tout de même un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Great value stay in Candelaria
Great value stay in Candelaria in a lovely old colonial house. The service was great - they couldn’t have been more helpful. Area is in Candelaria so you have to use common sense when walking around and take taxis at night but worth the price to stay.

Beautiful hotel in historic former home
Here are the top things about this hotel: 1. It is in the heart of the area you need to be in Bogotá, Candeleria 2. It is a beautifully renovated old family home, with lovely original features, decorated ceilings, wooden floors, gorgeous glazed atrium, double doors and door shutters to the rooms. 3. The service is personal, friendly and very helpful, for all our requests, even a light late-evening meal when we needed it to take some medication with, plus a packed breakfast for our early start at the bus terminal. 4. The shower was hot, and high pressured. 5. The breakfast was very nice including tailor- made omelettes to order. 6. Our room (908) was perfect as our two daughters (18 and 26) could sleep on the sofa bed. 7. The hotel is close walking distance from the Museo Botero and the Gold Museum. When you arrive the hotel is on one of the busiest streets in Candeleria and you might think noise would be a concern. Yet the double glazing in our room (908) was phenomenal, you literally could not hear a thing. We had a great time here, I can’t imsgine there is a better place to stay in Candeleria, especially given the price is reasonable.

Good breakfast and friendly staff. The location is great for seeing downtown Bogota. Building is old but well kept. The neighborhood is not a good place at night but if you want to stay in this area, this hotel is a good value for this location

The property was beautiful and in a great location to discover some of the highlights of Bogota. Unfortunately the shower in our room had problems getting hot water (staff informed me that it was one of the rooms that had not yet been updated with a new pump), but other than that our stay was very pleasant.
