Staff was very helpful and always pleasant to interact with. The property is a 10 minute walk from the port, the promenade, the old city. There is a Tommy supermarket literally next door so you can load up on water, snacks, etc without inflated prices.
The first room smelled of light smoke (someone smoking in building or on another floor?) and it was persistent so it bothered my wife a lot (she has a very sensitive sense of smell). The staff was very accommodating and was able to switch rooms for us so they can resolve the issue.
The room was clean and had a great view. At least 3 of the nights, we saw fireworks from nearby. We could see ships, ferries passing by. The only issue with such a great view is that the sun, which was scorching for the time we stayed in August, would warm up the room a lot. There were blackout curtains that helps though.
The view at nighttime was great.
I would come back here again if I return to Split.
