The staff was nice but the property was super dirty. There were strange people outside smoking and they had the door held open with a brick which scared my daughter. She thought someone did that to break in after hours. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathroom was clean but the carpet was dirty. The bed was comfortable, but overall the hotel was not somewhere I would stay again.

Very nice and clean
Just a nice visit to city for race in nearby Steele Alabama. Bed was nice comfortable and fridge keep drinks very cold. Overall a good stay!

Nicely redecorated. Hard to find behind other business. Saw sign but not sure where to go. Nice hot breakfast. Usual limited choices. No fresh pastries. When checking out told us they’d email receipt. Never got it.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay this time in Boaz. My last experience, at a different hotel, was horrible but this was soooo much better. The staff were very pleasant and professional. Room was good size and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Do not go here
The hotel was on very bad shape. On top of that, the rooms were filthy. The first room I got, had a variety of foodrests on the floor, from meats to fruits. Also the curtains were torn. I complained and got a new room, which should be better. It was a little better but still unacceptable filthy. The lady behind the desk was genuinely nice and apologized. By checking out the next day I was asked if everything was ok, and I said no, and explained why. The reaction was only: I’ll discuss it with the cleaners. I think this is not their fault, looking at the state of the motel: it is management that is lacking overview on the rooms. On top of all above there was a real strong marihuana-smell all night in the hotel. Avoid this ‘motel’!

Check-in easy and pleasant. Room was clean and as -expected. Plenty of fast food and a movie theater nearby. Standard breakfast fare. Building adjacent to parking lot gutted, presumably for renovation. No one at front desk for checkout to provide receipt. Juice machine not functioning properly (wouldn't shut off). No staff around until after it over-flowed. Could hear thumps from guest in room on 2nd floor.

There was no elevator, you have to carry everything up a flight of stairs. Windows are single pane glass, you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside. Room was clean.

Ok, in a pinch
Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Location - hard to see from the road as it is tucked behind a strip of shops. Bathroom vanity, hand made from rough timbers looks half shod. Would not be my first choice for a room at the price asked.

Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the drapes were half torn from their hooks, the sink had large break with cracks, there was dried red nail polish in bathroom floor, a drawer handle was broken on nightstand and dresser drawers constantly slid open on their own. Staff were courteous and helpful but facilities were badly in need of repair
