Convenient location and good food.
The room we booked at the CookBook hotel (Junior Suite) came with the most wonderful balcony (it was huge!) and a separate little lounge area. The bathroom was large, clean and well stocked with nice products. I had a massage one day in their spa, which was wonderful. The food in the restaurant was lovely - though we didn’t realise it wasn’t open until Thursday so had to find alternative arrangements on our first night. Not a problem though, as gave us the opportunity to walk into Calpe and see a bit of the seafront. It was about a 15 minute walk to the sea and centre of town, which was fine for us and also meant that the area immediately around the hotel was quiet and residential. It was a good base for being able access that coastline and explore other areas nearby, such as Moraira and Denia.

El servicio de este establecimineto es lo peor. Hacen que los huespédes se tengan que adaptar a sus necesidades y no al contrario. Además, es bastante sucio. Durante toda nuestra estancia no han limpiado las mesas del restuarante de terraza de la suciedad que ha traido la lluvia. No lo recomendamos a nadie.

A boutique hotel overshadowed by its restaurants
Located in a quiet residential area just outside Calpe this boutique hotel has become a little faded in its decor and could do with some refurbishment, particularly in the bathrooms, if it wants to retain a “boutique” status. On the positive side the staff are very helpful and charming. Much emphasis is given to the two restaurants linked to the hotel which are very popular and successful. Sadly the hotel does not receive the same high standards.

Vacances au calme et chics!
Parfait!! Nous avins profité d'une journée supplémentaire sur Calpe dans ce bel endroit. Tout était très bien, du lieu, au calme et proche de la plage, jusqu'au professionalisme, à l'attention du personnel, en passant par la chambre, simple, mais grande , avec une belle terrasse, et au restaurant KOMFORT , au top (guide michelin).

The recipe for an enjoyable stay
An enjoyable stay with friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is ideally situated to access both beaches and the town centre. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Peaceful retreat.
We had a 3 night stay with the intention of having a relaxing time. The hotel staff are very friendly and always helpful. The pool was lovely - very peaceful - lots of birds flying about. We didn't eat at the hotel apart from Breakfasts so can't comment on the food. The menus did look a bit pricey but they have been good value. The hotel is an oasis of tranquility but still within walking distance of the main town etc.

Hotel que necesita una reforma en las habitaciones
Hemos estados varias veces, pero la ultima hace unos 4 años y siempre ha sido increíble, la verdad me ha decepcionado esta vez y mucho, teníamos la habitación suite junior 302 en el ático, la cama muy incomodo con los muelles que salen de la cama y el baño de la habitación para minusválidos con un inodoro muy incómodo después de quéjanos varias veces nos dicen que el hotel esta completo y la única solución es poner una manta por abajo para solucionar el tema de la cama, además que es casi imposible reservar una hamaca para la piscina si bajas un poco tarde. La verdad estábamos a punto de irnos a casa, pero como eran 2 noches decimos quedarnos pero lo tengo claro que no voy a volver mas

Zeer goede ligging, kort bij alles... strand, de rots en het oude pittoreske centrum, prachtige kamers, super vriendelijk personeel. Goed volledig ontbijt. Lekker eten in het restaurant. Wellness was goed na een flinke wandeling. Wij komen zeker terug.

Het hele concept is heel geslaagd, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel ! Heel klein minpuntje is de beheersing van de engelse taal bij sommige, wat kan leiden tot een misverstand. De rest was top en tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

Very pleasant quite retreat in February
Very comfortable, after one night had a small water leak in ceiling were moved rooms within minutes of notifying management. Only down was emergency led lighting in the second room which was quite bright at night. The Komfort restaurant was good value, staff friendly and accommodating. Free coffee whenever and extensive breakfast

Boutique hotel near beach
Lovely reformed small hotel with two fabulous restaurants... Great swimming pool with comfy sun beds and ind. Umbrellas surrounded by lucious garden. Some construction noise from across the street, si gle residential. Easy walking to Calpe's restaurant centre and beaches.

Very good hotel
Very nice small hotel. Lovely food and good location. Staff were extremely nice and so helpful. Only ctitisms are they had no english tv channels and the bottle opener for the water etc was useless! Reception assured us we should have English channels and would rectify but never did. Our friends had the same problem when they stayed there last year. Would recommend this hotel though and would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel and the staff were very helpful. Room was a bit cold and the beds could have used an extra pillow but overall nice.

La Villa esta apartada del bullicio de calpe, pero 4 m en coche. El hotel esta bastante bien, nuestra habitación un poco pequeña pero las vistas dan al Peñón. La comida del hotel muy bien, pero en la cena el servicio fue lento. Esperamos unos 30 m entre primer y segundo plato. El personal de servicio fueron todos muy amables,recomiendo una escapadita a Villa Marisol

Happy with everything!
The staff were really friendly, the place was well looked after and peaceful. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was fantastic. The breakfast was good, the pool is lovely and overall, it was a really comfortable 10 night stay.
