Great condo, close to the slopes of Beaver Creek
The condo was great! It had more than was in the description- like fireplace, washer and dryer. Also the condo comes with the membership to the fitness center that has a hot tub and sauna! Condo was cleaned every day and the kitchen had everything you needed. Great stay! The shuttle to the slopes is right outside the condo or you can walk 8 min and you are right at the lifts.

I didn't realize when booking that this was a timeshare run by the hotel. We stayed in a beautiful apartment but there was no hotel/lobby/coffee amenities close by. Also, there is no air conditioning and that was not mentioned anywhere that I could see once we checked in and read that on the sheet they gave us. The apartment did have ceiling fans and free standing fans which with windows open and shades mostly shut the rooms stayed coolish. The weather was on our side but if it was a hot day as a NY'er it would have been unbearable.

Spacious and clean 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with full kitchen, perfect for a family ski vacation. We used the large jetted tubs to soak after long days if skiing to help with relaxation and recovery. The unit is a short walk to the Beaver Creek gondola, has access to the Avon recreation center across the street, garage parking, walkable to shopping and restaurants, shuttle stop right outside the property. It was great and we'd definitely come back.

Very nice condo in great location! Easy commute to Beaver Creek. Though listing states the beds are “doubles,” they are actually queens. Comfortable stay for our party of 5 adults.

Amazing apartment. I booked kind of quickly and didn't realize it was a 2BR with tons of room and a kitchen, laundry, etc. More than enough for the 7 hours I needed. But great night sleep on comfy beds and quiet beautiful setting. Glad our work trip wasn't during snow season or it probably would have been triple the price, but it's what the market bears. Nice staff and plenty of ammenities.

Loved staying in the villa! We came for an off season visit, and it was the perfect location to soak in the fall views. Close to lots of restaurants and hikes. Villa was amazing layout for our family with plenty of space. Loved having access to the Avon Center and the pool that has water slides, lazy river, and diving board. Definitely will come back!

The room was beautiful and clean. The only thing we were disappointed in was the pool. It’s in the recreation center so you are at the mercy of their hours. We walked all the way over there because the front said it was open till ten...it wasn’t. I called to ask about it and no one answered or returned my voice mail. The rooms have no AC.

Employee theft at Sheraton; no response from hotel
Disappointed at Hotel’s lack of responsiveness. On Monday, July 15, we spent one night at the Sheraton Lakeside Terraces. The hotel annex buildings, essentially condos, were old but very clean and our unit was comfortable even without air conditioning. No a/c is relatively standard in the Colorado mountains in older hotels and other housing; that was not an issue for us. What is substandard is that we accidentally forgot to repack an important orthopedic pillow, leaving it on the king bed. Part of the responsibilities expected of hotel chains — particularly a major chain like Sheraton - is immediate identification and a system to recover and safeguard the personal property of guests at a given property. On Tuesday morning, July 16th, after checkout, we realized that we had forgotten the pillow along with 6 chocolate bars, and immediately called the hotel to report the missing items. As we were beginning a wilderness horseback trip for the next 4 days, we expected that notification to the hotel front desk would take care of the issue and that our property would be promptly placed in the hotel’s Lost & Found for our pickup on the 19th. Instead, after two calls on the 19th with a helpful and responsive Guest Services employee, we learned that neither the pillow nor the other items had been turned in and that there was no record of our call or the missing pillow. This is simply unacceptable. Stealing a pillow is theft. Will no longer stay at Sheraton hotels.

Thank you for writing a review about your recent stay. I apologize for your missing pillow. Sometimes when the housekeepers clean the rooms, items like pillows and blankets left by guests go to our laundry service with our linens and pillows. At that point, we contact the laundry service to see if they have possession of the pillow. We did check with them and they didn't have it. I am so sorry. If you would like to contact the property I can further discuss avenues to get this made right. Again, I am sorry about your lost pillow.

Beautiful accommodations. Very comfortable. Well-appointed and right next to the lake. Easy walk to shops, grocery, rentals, ice cream. Activities available (for extra cost). Best perk is free entry to Avon Rec Center which has an amazing pool and exercise floor.

Excellent late season value! Nice condo with mountain views, 3 large beds, kitchen living room fireplace. Highly recommend if you like Beaver Creek.

Quando chegamos ao hotel para o check in, a estadia ja estava paga. A Sta que nos recebeu (Maribel) disse que precisaria passar o cartão para extras. Passei o cartão para ela e o gerente muito grosseiro e mal educado (Victor) disse que teria que passar novamente por sermos do Brasil. Assim depois de meu protesto, ele passou 25 dólares duas vezes. No dia seguinte pedimos House Keeping e me disseram que seria 65 dólares mais taxas (73 dólares), mas para minha surpresa cobraram 84,59 dólares. Na hora do check os mesmos dois estavam la. Quando pedi para extornar a diferença ele (Sr Victor que disse ser o gerente) me disse que não era devida. Tentei explicar que ele havia me cobrado 134,59 dólares e a conta seria de 73 dólares. Depois ele disse que me retornaria apenas 11 dólares. Em seguida me disse que “para ele, 50 dólares não dinheiro e que ele ganhava muito dinheiro e que se para mim era muito, problema meu” depois ainda fez piada comigo e disse “Brazil go home” vocês não são benvindos aqui. Espero que o Hotel tome providencias contra esse senhor arrogante e preconceituoso. Eu vou sugerir a brasileiros a não irem lá .

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your room here at the Sheraton Mountain Vista and regret that you had a less than favorable experience with our Front Desk team. We have spoken with the proper parties. Please keep in mind that when staying at properties around the world, even for prepaid stays hotels do require a Credit Card authorization and a hold on those cards in case you make incidental charges at the resort. We do often find that international cards have a more difficult time having the authorizations go through and sometimes do authorize an amount higher than domestic cards. When you checked out you should have seen all those authorizations return to your card. If you did not please contact us at the property so we can get them refunded to you as appropriate.

Great multi-family villa for ski trip
This was a great spot for 2 families to stay- Avon is a cute little town and so convenient for a ski weekend in Vail and Beaver Creek. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make all of our meals, and the rec facility across the street was top notch.

Everything was goid to go except one thing, perhaps it was me but the pool is not attached ti the hotel. Its a rec center across the street. After getting my hoys ti behave durning dinner with a promise of the pool that evening the rec center clised at 8 p.m so, that was a shocker and disapointment. There were irher things to do, but not having it own pool sucked.

Thank you for the feedback. Lakeside Terrace does utilizes the Avon Recreation Center across the street for our pool and workout facilities. I apologize that the pool closes at 8pm Monday to Saturday and 7pm on Sundays. The Avon Recreation Center really is a great facility I am sorry that you were unable to enjoy it.

Spacious, family-friendly villa!
We greatly enjoyed our stay in a 2 bedroom villa. Very spacious, wonderful location...close to a park for the kids and great restaurants within walking distance. Could see some wear in the property, but overall it was comfortable. The only negatives were no air conditioning (cool mornings and hot afternoons) and lots of bugs/mosquito’s on the deck. We had a small problem with our keys and it was resolved quickly. We would most definitely stay here again!

Great place!
Love this place and the free Rec Center access too! The only minor knock is the lack of A/C, so you have to be diligent in opening up the place and cooling it off with fans.

We would stay here again. Overall, it is a lovely place. Only downside was it was a bit noisy outside. No AC in many mountain condos; just leave the windows open at night. However, quite a fantastic playground outside our windows which families took advantage of until rather late. It may be quieter during the week, but was a bit noisy on the weekend. But overall, fantastic property and beautifully furnished.

Value, Convenience, and Comfort in Beaver Creek
It was spacious, well-designed, and perfect for our needs. The decor was woodsy and contemporary, and the master suite was cozy and comfortable. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom but could share the living area and kitchen. The beds and linens were great. I really appreciated the whirlpool tub in the master suite, and my friend liked the access to the gym in the Avon Rec Center. Free parking was an extra money-saving benefit. It’ll be my go-to hotel in Avon, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.
