Easy access with keyless entry. Kind of like your own little apartment. Funky design and cool building. Walking distance to many food and drink options.

This is my 2nd stay at the City Hall Grand Hotel and it was great! Love the thought and care that was put in the design and decor. On check-out, Zenna, a staff member, was kind enough to give us a quick tour of 2 other rooms which were amazing! This is my go to whenever I’m in the area!

We had a problem upon arrival. With no desk a little difficult to get help. However the people in charge bent over backwards to help us and solve our problems!

BEWARE THERE IS NO STAFF AT THE HOTEL!!! No front desk or check in. Just tapped paper to walls with directions how to access your room. I didn’t notice that mentioned in the hotel description. I tried to cancel the minute we stepped in the abandoned looking building. The pictures of the property are definitely embellished. One upside is the room seemed clean. Beds, pillows blankets were terrible. The gym is awful. There is a bench press with no weights. I absolutely felt unsafe staying here with my kids. We were here to tour Lycoming College. I would not recommend this hotel or come back.

This was definitely a unique property Well done, the rooms are very well done The one issue we had was a very loud couple in the room above us, kept us up until 3:30 am No fault of the hotel Also tried to email the hotel prior to arrival No response from them All in all a unique stay

A bit noisy in area and hotel on the particular night we stayed. Unfortunate because the room was fantastic. The hotel itself was very interesting. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was beautiful! The staff was very accommodating and able to take care of any requests immediately even without a proper front desk. Very walkable to nearby restaurants and clean rooms and a very affordable cost. Highly recommend staying here at the City Hall Grand Hotel.

Great stay
We heeded the advice about picking a room with a bathroom with a door and stayed in the courthouse room. Room was great - we loved the unique theme of it. And the whole building is pretty neat.

We stayed here while we were visiting family in the area for the holiday...the room was so well designed as was the rest of the Hotel that we were pleasantly surprised! Very cool place to stay!

Not having staff on site is not at all welcoming.... The rooms need to have receptacles for charging devices that most everyone uses - (iPhone, etc.). Having a shower as a part of the bedroom area was just totally absurd!! The description of the rooms was very deceptive!! I really don't care that the police chef used this room as his office!!! Tell me about the amenities!! Bedside tables were not really usable, they were much to small and not stable.

Exceptionally Clean and Tastefully Appointed
This place was exceptionally clean and check-in was simple. Basically, you just confirmed that the entry code was received. I'm not sure if this applies to all rooms, but 304's sink/shower and WC were across the room from each other. The shower room room lacked a door, so if showering in privacy is an issue that is a consideration (at least for this room). 304 has only a single chair and no table to supplement the two night stands. The location was wonderful, walking distance to the Bullfrog Brewery, which has MANY vegetarian and vegan options. Plus, the beer's good!
The WC has a sliding barn door for privacy
Gorgeous building was preserved and repurposed
Large king bed in a spacious room
Nice rain shower but no door on this room

Old building shines like a new penny.
The City Hall Grand Hotel was delightfully different. It is a fine example of recycling a historic building into a unique hotel experience. The fit and finish of this rehab is excellent with every room a one off. They also have a nice upscale "tablecloth" restaurant with good food and great service. It is a must stopover when near Williamsport.

Cool hotel in the old City Hall. Good location downtown, but area is more or less ”dead” after 5. Read the notes carefully before booking. I didnt, and ended up in a room with no windows! Other solutions such as no door to shower and a ”primitive” sliding door to toilet are questionable. No staff on site is fine until something goes wrong. I had a payment problem that was later solved, but for a moment that caused some concern that would nerver have happened if somebody would have been on site.

"Unique," a landmark experience, pun intended
"unique experience" would be a unanimous response. This is a fantastic site from a remodeled 130-year-old city hall building. I love the coordination of architecture, engineering, appropriate details and materials throughout the structure. I love the vision and implementation of the owners. It was a delightful stay. Highly recommended.

Our room is basically in the entrance of the hotel. There is no lobby. Ourr room is right next to the front door so every single time someone enters the hotel, it sounds like they are in our room. It’s terrible. Would not stay again.

Check in was easy...entry code texted to me that gave access to the building and your room. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Information book at the entrance to the room included easy instructions for wifi and walking inofrmation for the area around the hotel. My overnight stay was for a pleasant place to pass time and relax while in Williamsport overnight. Overall this cute and unique hotel met my needs. Only complaint would be the 2:30 am wake up to what sounded like a live action porn performance for a little over 20 minutes. Either the walls are really thin or the performers were in the common area just outside my room. Made me question the security of the codes, but was only staying one night so didn't investigate further.

We love the decor here! Such a unique hotel. Very clean, spacious rooms. We had an interesting room with the shower in the middle of the room… no curtain or walls. Just a shower head in the middle of the room. But it made for an interesting stay.

Very clean, unique property. Would definitely stay here again. If your looking for someone to wait on you then this is not the hotel for you. This property is self check in. Which was fine with us and directions were very easy to follow and worked great.
