This property was a good value with many positives, but also a few issues, depending on the room you get. The location to the port and to the downtown is very good, the staff is excellent, the room is "cozy", and there is very nice rooftop area with a good view. However, we had the Garden Room, which was on the street and a bit noisy. It also needs some updating...the bathroom door was chipped in many places, in sad condition, and sometimes scraped on the floor. Also, the closet only had a short saloon type swing door, so basically it was open, and there is an exposed sewer pipe in the closet that was very loud when upstairs rooms were using any water, especially if from a shower. Overall it was a decent stay. Might stay again, but only in another room.

The office staff were a delight. The property has different themed rooms to reserve. Ours was modestly furnished. There’s a roof top deck to enjoy. Depending on your room, you may be climbing stairs with your luggage, so do inquire if that is an issue for you. We were allowed to leave our bags in the office before our room was ready and after checkout (before 4p). That allowed us easier access to the sites before we caught our boat home. Thank you for the stay.

Fantastic hospitality and communication from staff (Amber). The room was quaint and clean. The Inn was a walkable distance from the port and from the restaurants and casino.

This hotel is a converted house. Very charming and clean. I had the mermaid room which is located outside the main entrance. It’s a small room max 2 people. The bathroom is standing room only for one person. If you are a big person you may not want this room. The shower is really small, half size. We like the fact the room is on the first floor with its own entrance on the side of the building. The noise level was high because of all the golf cart motors and construction. The hotel does provide ear plugs. If you are a light sleeper you may not want this room. I also love this hotel because of the location, balcony view of the marina, use of the grill on top or the balcony. Vons is just a block away. Mini golf a block, bars one block away. All very close. I would return again.

Our stay at the Seacrest inn was great! We arrived early (10am) but check in wasn't up until 4pm, previous to arriving they advised us we might be able to check in early if the room was available and it was! the walk from the ferry was only a 5 minute walk (no walk up a hill either) which was super convenient since we had our luggage's. We stayed in the wicker roses room, it was small but perfect for a getaway for a couple. The room has a heater/AC unit, iron/ironing board, microwave, mini fridge, TV/cable, hair blow dryer and an extra pillow and blanket. The place was CLEAN upon arrival, It even smelled clean when we first walked in. Be advised it's not exactly in a quiet area but we didn't mind as it does tend to quiet down in the night time. The roof has a deck that has chairs, tables & a BBQ/ grilling area, again it looked clean up there as well Everything is within a mile radius walk from the Inn, it took us maybe 20 min tops to get places that weren't exactly close to our stay. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely come back. BTW : these pictures were taken right before check out time so the place looks a bit messy :)

This was a an amazing experience the property team are wonderful! The room was great and accomodating to our furbaby had a nice patio area to have a morning mimosa or cup of cofee. The rooftop terrace is beautiful for a chill evening and the spa tub is the best to relax after a day of fun.

our go to place in avalon
we really like this inn. it is centrally located, a 2-3 min. walk to anything and everything you may want or need. plenty of restaurants in town. our host michael upgraded us upon check-in, which was nice! the inn is old school, as is most of the hotels in avalon, but the rooms here are very clean and very cozy. we especially like the top roof deck, it is the highest elevation in the center of town so you can have 360 degree view of the whole town and harbor. a great place to have your coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening and view all of the city lights!

Great place to stay if you’re planning not to stay in your room for too long. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Room was very small. Not a ton of amenities, but enough for a comfortable weekend.

My husband and I stayed at this property for our 2 year anniversary trip. It was exactly what we were looking for as we tend to be people who spend a lot of time out and about exploring. We enjoyed the sunset from the rooftop and thought the service was exceptional. Michael was very accommodating during our entire stay. He has a water refill station which was really helpful as we went hiking and exploring over the weekend. Also our room came with a fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker which was greatly appreciated!

Very kind and hospitable staff, very walkable to all of the shops and dining. The room was just the right size for 2 people. They only thing is it can get a bit noisy at times in the morning. Overall definitely worth the price you're paying to stay here. Thank you staff.

It's not a luxury hotel, but the shower doubled as a jacuzzi, there is a rooftop barbecue with seating area, you can check out beach towels from the front office, and you can store your luggage in the front office before you check in. It is just one block up on the very first cross street from the ferry terminal. The environmentally friendly refillable shampoo, conditioner, and lotion containers are thoughtfully labeled with a label maker. Best of all, Michael at the front desk has a contagious joyful smile. There was no door on the bathroom, but fortunately it is around the corner from the bedroom and not visible from the bed or the fireplace.
