Good choice
Nothing great, nothing terrible. Good location in boring neighborhood, no restaurants, but close to metro stop. Most guests in hotel are chinese so breakfast is 90 % chinese food. Fair value.

Decent, clean and very friendly
Good clean place. Very friendly staff, breakfast deserves an upgrade. Breakfast is ok, but in comparison to other places in the same category it is missing 1-1.5 stars. At the equivalent of 125 US dollar is was an ok value. A bit dated, but clean and central. I had better value, but ok when on Biz trip. I would not be happy if I had to pay out of my own pocket.

Near Taipei station just only one stop and near MRT station by walk for 2-3 minutes. Good breakfast and good room service.

Bad hotel experiences!
The service and location of this hotel was good. However, there were few negative impressions, air conditioning not worked while outside temperature was around 30 degree, the breakfast was minus and minus and the worst thing was the cleaningness of the hotel room really bad, my wife and I ha got bite marks.

Clean and good service
Welcome Hotel was simple clean and their service was really good. The location was convenient for us as we had our exhibition at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Walking distance to the train and as a bonus, there was a weekend Farmers' Market opposite the hotel when we were there. Overall value for money. Very much recommended

First let me state I did have issues at check in with a room that had a bad smell from wet carpets. The staff addressed this issue and upgraded my room for one night and then put me in a room with no issues. Kudos to the staff for this. As for the hotel, room and amenities, here are my observations: 1. Hotel is in a good location, only a block from the Shandao Temple MRT. Lots of people complained it is not close to restaurants or to the subway but is absolutely is. Maybe others didn't explore the area well, but there is plenty within blocks of the location 2. Hotel staff is A+. Staff went out of their way to be sure I was happy. It got a little stalkerish as had issues from day 1, but they were super attentive to ensure my experience was good. 3. Room is so - so. I was there to sleep and clean up, so the room was fine. Not really very modern, but adequate for sure. Shower head was behind the shower door (literally) and electric wires came out of the wall into two bed tables for light switches, which would have been way outside code in the US. With that said I got used to the new digs and my stay 4. Housekeeping - they were really good to bring extra towels and were never annoying like other hotels. They would always check with me before they cleaned to be sure timing was good for me. Most hotels you get an annoying knock at 6am from housekeeping. Not here, very respectful and attentive to your needs. I would definitely stay here again for the price.

I stayed there for four nights and had 4 days of wonderful breakfast. Just enough variety and food to kept me fueled until lunchtime. The hotel was secluded and quiet enabling me to have a nice sleep at night as it was a very hectic 5 days that started at 8:30 AM and didn't finished past midnight everyday.

Nice hotel close to the MRT
We enjoyed our stay here, price was reasonable, location convenient to local cuisine, and the room comfort above average. The breakfast was below average from a Western perspective. The coffee was at best poor, but again, most of the people staying there are Asian. There are taxis out front of the hotel, but the hotel does not use them for some reason. If you ask the hotel for a taxi, be prepared to wait over 10 minutes. Just go out the front door and step into a taxi.

Room is clean. The hotel is close to the MRT but not close to any decent food places. There's a park right across the hotel that people gather there on weekends so it can be noisey. The TV has static and toilet could be better. Staff is helpful. There's a Starbucks around the corner.

Small hotel but comfortable
The location of the hotel is ok, ~ 3-5 mins walking distance from MTR station. The room is comfortable and the toilet is surprisingly big. The breakfast they provided is good enough, although not much of choice.

Welcome hotel, but don't feel too welcome
Hotel was a 10 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station, but there isn't many shops in the surrounding area. The exterior of the hotel and the lobby area really need some improvement work. However, once you entered the room, it is a lot better. The room is big and clean. Buffet breakfast is below average with limited choices. But the big disappointment is the service of the front desk staff. I requested for a late checkout. One male staff was attending to me and checking the computer system. Before he could do anything, another female staff walk over and rejected me, rather rudely!

The hotel is close to everything...transportation, eating places, and shopping. firm and comfortable bed. Breakfast is very good...many choices and changing dishes everyday. The front desk is very helpful and friendly. Some rooms have smoking smell.

Little business and a Bike Trip.
6 nights stay in a suite room. I liked the quiet location, not far from main station and just a few minutes walk to MTR station. Good and friendly services. The food was ok. They allowed a bit late check out...about 1 pm. I need a big room for staying with a friend and 2 bicycles. With this price I will only get a small room in the other hotel. Great :)
