I usually stay nearby at FSK resort but found the prices here much better. The staff, breakfast, pool, hot tub and everything else was better too! Clean, newly renovated....will stay again.

There were a lot of things lacking, compared to another hotel I stayed at down the street in a similar price range within a couple days during the off-season. The coffee bar wasn't changed out from the previous day at breakfast (at 8AM), the free breakfast was very limited, the room amenities were minimal (no coffee machine), and the fitness center was very limited (dumbbells, but no bench). Even the convenience store had few options. However, the saving grace was the two front desk workers who were very kind and friendly

Wifi was terrible in the room. Bathroom was mildewy and the bathtub felt like the middle of it had no support. Wouldn't recommend staying more than a night here.

So, check in was fine. Nice person greeted me. She told me she was upgrading me to a king suite (which I am pretty sure that's what I reserved). While I was checking in she casually mentioned they don't clean the rooms during the stay but will supply sheets and towels at the front desk if requested. Tired from the long trip I just wanted to get to my room. The room was not terrible but then I saw black mold in the bathroom, fan did not work along with the hair dryer. I called the front desk and was told there is no one there from maintenance so the only thing they can do was bring another hair dryer. The girl brought one up and plugged it in. Still nothing, She suggested we bring the wall mounted unit into the room and plug it in near the kitchen sink.It worked but no mirror. After 2 days the room got real funky and I just figured we would endure till we had to leave. Waffles,cereal, cofffee and toast was available every morning and was ok. Place looks real nice from the outside and probably could be good if they had a functioning cleaning and matinance staff. I go to Ocean City every year and mostly stay at the Holiday inn express. I think that's where I will be next year. They have similar rooms, breakfast etc... but they at least CLEAN THE ROOMS!

Quality, value and nice people!
I did not regret in the least choosing Microtel. I needed a simple solution for accommodations related to a person I had been visiting at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. Microtel was not only convenient, but exceeded my expectations in terms of value, quality, conveniece and friendliness of staff.

Would love to come back again!
It was a nice clean place to stay, everything was cleaned thoroughly. However, one of the blue pillows had no cover on it and got a mouth stain on it. At night, the room next door is so loud, banging on the door trying to find his friends. Slammed the doors multiple times between 2-4 a.m. That's right 2-4 am noise from the next-door room and their friends were out in the hallway chit-chatting.

We stayed 1 night and we had 2 rooms , one of them was 101 terrible room with no signal or Wi-Fi I couldn’t make or receive any phone calls , outlets by the bed wasn’t working or the one under tv. Staff was nice when we asked for extra towels they came right away. Hotels has many rooms but not enough breakfast to accommodate everyone. We had to stay for 45 minutes in line to make waffles. I won’t be back again
