호텔의 위치나 시설, 서비스 등 전반적으로 만족합니다. 다만 객실 내 온도가 20~22도 정도로 자동 설정되어 조절이 불가능합니다. 쌀쌀한 날씨에 숙박을 해서 그런지 3박 내내 잘 때 추웠습니다.

1인실 예약했는데 방 깨끗하고 매우 조용하고 좋았어요. 침대도 더블베드라 여유가 있고 청결합니다. 마켓홀은 걸어서 20~25분 걸려서 좀 거리감이 있지만 주변 구경하면서 가니 그렇게 멀게 느껴지지는 않았습니다. 중앙역이랑 가깝고 주변에 식당 많아요. 대형호텔이라 그런지 다만 체크인, 특히 체크아웃 할 때 줄서서 대기하는 시간이 길어요... 방에 전화기가 고장난게 좀 불편했지만 따로 크게 문제 없었습니다.

업무 출장으로 로테르담 방문함,네델란드식 영어를 구사하는 종업원들은 빠르게 혼자서 얘기 하며 악수를 청함, 실제 옆에서 체크인 하는 일본인은 굉장히 당황함,(이런것도 못알아 듣냐는 표정의 종업원의 표정이 더 화가 났음), 전에 숙박했던 네델란드 교외의 호텔보다는 위치적으로 좋았지만, 커피포트 같은 기본 제공 편의 시설은 없었으며, 추가로 요구 했을시 service charge 가 청구 되었음, 특별히 다른 호텔 보다 좋지는 않았으며, 호텔닷컴에 글을 올리자 예약팀에서 와인 한병을 방에 두었음(청소 하시는 분께 드리고 왔음), 로테르담 중앙역에서 15분 정도 걸어야 하며 박물관과 미술관, 시내가 가까웠음, 화장실 히터는 고장난 상태 였으며, 오래된 건물과 새 건물이 있는데 내가 묵었던 오래된 건물은 레스토랑과 입구가 같이 있어 시끄러웟음.

Das Hotel liegt einfach perfekt, zentral genug um alles zu Fuss machen zu können und trotzdem relativ ruhig gelegen verglichen mit anderen Hotels in der Innenstadt. Sraßenbahn und Metro sind auch direkt vor der Tür falls man mal etwas weiter außerhalb hin will. Es gibt auch einen Parkplatz, allerdings kann ich zu den Kosten nichts sagen, da ich mit dem Zug angereist bin. Ansonsten ist das Hotel top modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man wird Tag und Nacht freundlich begrüßt. Einen Stern Abzug beim Zustand wegen der Außenfassade und der Fernseher im Zimmer, bei dem ab und zu das Bild einfach ausgefallen ist und man ihn neu starten musste. Hat dem Gesamteindruck aber nur minimal geschadet. Bisher hatte ich im Bastion Hotel und im Atlantic übernachtet und das Bilderberg schlägt die beiden bei Weitem für mich, obwohl der Preis ungefähr auf demselbem Niveau ist. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Rotterdam Besuch wieder buchen.

The hotel appears generally deteriorated, out of step with the promotional images available on the Internet. I was somewhat disappointed with the general condition of the building, the room and the bathroom. What particularly disappointed me was the lack of soundproofing. Noises from slamming doors, conversations in the hallway, as well as from neighbors next door and above, were a constant annoyance throughout my stay. I happened to be woken up by noisy comings and goings in the middle of the night. The shower stall was too narrow for me, making it difficult to raise my arms, and it was impossible to lean over. Additionally, the water pressure was low, and the clunky shower head had difficulty staying in place on its wall bracket. The hotel seems to be making efforts in terms of eco-responsibility by not using single-use cups (paper or plastic), however, the room was not heated at all in February. Even though I am not sensitive to the cold, I had never experienced such a cold hotel room in winter. As for service, the staff was generally courteous and helpful. I met several who were very satisfactory and professional, but some seemed unconcerned with supporting customers and acted a little impersonally.

L'établissement apparaît globalement vieillissant, en grand décalage avec les images promotionnelles disponibles sur Internet. J'ai été quelque peu déçu par l'état général du bâtiment, de la chambre et de la salle de bain. Ce qui m'a particulièrement déçu, c'est le manque d'insonorisation. Les bruits provenant du claquement des portes, des conversations dans le couloir, ainsi que les bruits des voisins à côté et du dessus, ont constitué une gêne constante tout au long de mon séjour. Il m'est arrivé d'être réveillé par des allées et venues bruyantes en pleine nuit. La cabine de douche était trop étroite pour moi, rendant difficile le fait de lever les bras, et il était impossible de s'y pencher. De plus, la pression de l'eau était faible, et le pommeau de douche peu pratique avait du mal à rester en place sur son support mural. L'hôtel semble faire des efforts en matière d'éco-responsabilité en n'utilisant ni tasses ni gobelets à usage unique, cependant, la chambre n'était pas du tout chauffée en février. En tant que personne peu frileuse, je n'avais jamais connu une chambre d'hôtel aussi froide en hiver. En ce qui concerne le service, le personnel était généralement courtois et serviable. Charmant hôtel, les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec une très belle vue à l’extérieur. Le service et le staff de l’hôtel a été très décevant, nous avons réclamé au moment de rentrer à l’hôtel qu’il y avait un problème de chauffage, le staff n’a pas du tout été réactif, nous avons du faire plusieurs relances, et c’est après qu’ils nous ont ramené un chauffage électrique. Le service housekeeping a très mal fait les chambres, nous avons été extrêmement déçus de cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner nous a été offert pour s’excuser, geste sympa de leur part, mais c’était la moindre des choses après toutes les remarques négatives qu’on a du leur faire !

Good experience overall, yes would stay again. My only criticisms were that glass, mug and tea kettle stored in the closet weren’t clean upon arrival and not for some time (dusty). The room was also in the basement and older part of the building so appeared not to be as good quality vs other rooms. However fine for city break and bathroom/bed were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast selection and location to the museums and Kunsthall.

Positieve en negatieve punten wisselen elkaar af.Positief: vriendelijkheid personeel, ligging hotel mooi ontbijt. Negatief: als goldmember eerder kamerdowngrade ( oudere kamer, verwarming in badkamer werkt niet, muffe geur maar tot overmaat van ramp vieze lakens) . We werden op het einde wel van een kleine compensatie voorzien maar had liever of een betere kamer. Zo heb ik toch een negatief gevoel. Hadden ze me een nieuw verblijf in het nieuwe deel aangeboden… Jammer want we waren met 5 en zullen nu dit zeker niet aanraden aan anderen
