The hotel was easy to find. Sal, owner was very attentive, he rang the day before our arrival to check when we were arriving, he rang when we were running late, to see if we were OK, he was there to greet us and show us to our room and asked what time we would like breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable, there was no mirror in the room, on!y in the ensuite, not much good if you want to blow dry your hair.
Shower gel was provided in little sachets, but there was some hand wash as well. The towels were nice and thick and enough to go round.
Even though we were given the WiFi password, it didn't work and the TV wasn't straightforward either. There was only one lamp in the room. Most of this was just a niggle, as we were not there for the room.
The breakfast offering was good, cereals, orange juice, tea and coffee, cooked English breakfast, with an option of a vegetarian version. One fried egg, one slice of bacon, one sausage, beans and toast. We could have had tomatoes. Yes, this was also the vegetarian version.
Sal is happy to offer advice on where to go or how to get to places.
Some things could be improved, but overall a good place to stay and visit Sheffield.
