Mrs. Barbie was so patient and kind. She went over and beyond to make sure you were accommodated. I called the front desk several times, each time, I asked, is this Barbie? She is just so pleasant. My room was so clean. Even in the cracks. The bed was so soft and the sheets were so white they looked brand new. The smell throughout the hotel was very pleasant. Also, I've frequented a lot of hotels, this hotel a/c was the best yet. When it was on 68 it literally felt like 68. Cudos to the staff and the hotel. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Alexandria area. Only thing that was a minus was there were no eateries in the vicinity. I found that very odd to say that was downtown.

Good location to medical center although not safe to walk at night day ok. Noisy air condition. Limited food. Front desk staff too busy tending to each other than to guests. Room clean and bed comfortable. Lobby nice with lots of seating.

Staff was very welcoming. Hotel and room were clean. Location felt safe and quiet. Being downtown it's walkable to coffee, art museum, waterfront, etc. Downside: I did wish the bar was open later, but that's just a minor inconvenience.

Property and staff were very accommodating. We requested a larger room since we were getting ready for a Mardi Gras ball. The room had a nice view of downtown and large enough for all that stopped in to say hi.

There was nothing unique about this property other than them telling us that Expedia overbooked the room we reserved and so we got stuck in a double queen at the end of the hall beside the ice machine without a bathtub as we requested. It took approximately 10-15 minutes for the hot water to heat up and the heat wasn’t turned on so the room was 61 degrees when we got in it and took ages to heat the room up at 9pm at night with it being 17 degrees outside. There was one person checking in people at the front and there was 10 groups waiting to check in

We chose to stay there because they have a restaurant inside supposedly closing at 8 pm Time of closing not respected! Every employee on their phone ! Bad service! Room ok Bathroom not so clean

The bar/restaurant is not as listed on the website. Much smaller/low quality, and different appearance/name. Made decision to stay there based on best onsite restaurant/bar, which didn't exist. Toilet kept breaking. Air conditioner couldn't be louder. Door needed forced closed.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t completely clean. The counter had hair all over it and water marks like it hadn’t been cleaned. There was also toothpaste in the sink. But overall it was a nice stay.

Decent stay
Good beds, clean, comfortable good nights sleep. If you like a dark room, this isn't the place for you. Really bright outside and no recess for the curtains. The breakfast was pretty cold and mediocre at best; not worth the extra charge. All staff was really nice and very accommodating. We had considered going in the pool but it was very dirty and had a lot of black dirt at the bottom.

The BAD: Room's floors were dangerously greasy, staff cleaned once, but then the grease came back. Wall A/C constantly all night sounded like thunder every time it kicked on; put humidity into the room. Hall carpet was excessively stained or dirty. Room had not information booklet, like ice machines were on other floors. Kitchen food prices were not posted. Bed covers were too short. One exterior back or side door was left open to the public. Elevators floors were cracked. NO FREE BREAKFAST, and no nearby fast food restaurants. The GOOD: Comfortable bed!!!!!! A/C worked on very hot days. Mostly secure doors. Clean comfortable lobby. Location: Two churches in the block across the street. On a good day, could be walking distance to the courthouse. Walking distance to the levy to watch fireworks. Next door to the Bently hotel. Numerous gathering rooms for huge crowds.

We got a king bed room for one night. Everything was good, the room was clean and spacious. The only thing that we didn’t like was the receptionist lady attitude when we arrived there. Our checking in was late night so it might be because of that! Other than that everything was good

We loved the hotel. Great location and clean. However I hated that we had to search for ice because there wasn't any on our floor. Breakfast was basic and overpriced but overall it was a nice stay.
