I give this hotel 5 stars for its location. The hotel is obviously well used and busy all the time. Broken tiles in our bathroom. No recycle bin in our room for cans and paper? The rooftop bar was completely understaffed - 1 person for the whole area to take food and drink orders? Front desk served the purpose and nothing more.

Location is very convenient to UVA. Near a lot of college restaurants. Walkable, safe area. Accommodations were average - not bad, not great. No room service. Lobby cafe was very limited. Short staffed at desk, cafe and valet. Was at risk of missing my flight because valet was nowhere to be found for half an hour.

Nice room. Didn’t have hair dryer in room. I called for one and order was put in but it didn’t come by the time I checked out. Lighting in room wasn’t very bright. Self parking was confusing. I got charged twice.

Easy walk to UVA. Clean and comfortable room. The refrigerator isn't very cold. That is my only complaint.

Starting to show its age.

Have always liked this hotel and the concept but it’s starting to show its age. Staff helping the person checking in before us couldn’t name a restaurant to send them too and then disappeared so we gave the guest our recommendation. Rooms were clean and comfy though.

Lovely hotel with awesome location right near The University! I like the personalized touches and the fact it doesn’t feel like a big chain. I wouldn’t mind just a basic continental breakfast added in with the stay, however.

It was great except the heater was to loud, was not able to sleep that good

It’s a great location, so near UVA and with good and varied food in walking distance. Plus, the Graduate serves good coffee. The staff and management were friendly and helpful.
