I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gilbert very much! The hotel is very good located with easy transport links and restaurant offer in a short walking distance. The hotel is very pretty, comfortable and clean. The staff was great and very friendly. I'll def would come back.

So nice property in the center of Vienna! The breakfast was amazing and the staff very kind! The small double room was convenient and with a cozy design! I recommend it and I would love to there again!!

Great hotel in great location
Perfectly placed hotel on the edge of the city centre. Right next to museums and Christmas markets. Hotel was very comfortable, had great breakfasts and very polite staff. The hotel gym has all equipment possible and the sauna is great after a day of visiting tourist attractions.

Wonderful Days in Vienna
Hotel Gilbert is in a great location to visit the museums, and music venues of Vienna. It is quiet, but walking distance to both subway and trolley stops. The lobby is very nice with a wonderful restaurant. The rooms are compact but lovely and well designed. The staff were extraordinary. Amy, Dennis, Fredericka, Ahmed, and Elias made us feel at home during our 6 days there.

Really cool brilliantly located spot
Great decor and integrated public space. Restaurant good and staff friendly and relaxed - service sometimes tended toward too relaxed but that’s Vienna.

Terrible experience!!!!
Overall terrible service! I specifically asked from advance to have room close to my relatives and on checking in was refused brutally!.more over they insisted to charge me twice !!on my room!!! Saying I made double reservation!.arguing made me almost missing my flight home!!!

Dear guests,thank you for your feedback! What a pity that your stay went like this. At check out you were still very satisfied with all our services. The management itself was there when you left. Then we presented you with your two bookings and you only wanted to pay for one. Completely stressed, you said we would sort it out later because you wanted to catch your flight. Now we are stuck with a bill of over EUR 900.00 and have never heard from you again! Unfortunately, we also have to point out that you seem to have made completely confused bookings, because you simply booked another room but did not pay! The fact that you had two reservations and only paid for ONE of them should not go unmentioned here. We are very sorry for your behaviour towards the hotel and the staff and wish you all the best!

Exzrem unfreundlich
Der angebliche Manager war extrem unfreundlich, letztlich haben wir- noch nie vorgekommen!- unseren Besuch frühzeitig abgebrochen. Bei zwei Buchungen für 2 Nächte hintereinander schafft es das Management nicht, das richtig zu organisieren. Mitten am ersten Tag ein vorwurfsvoller Anruf, warum wir nicht bereits wieder ausgecheckt haben!... Beim Frühstück darf man 15min auf den Kaffee warten, und wenn man ihn dann endlich bestellen darf, dauert es noch einmal zu lange. Um punkt 10.30h wird der Vorgang zum Frühstücksbuffet zugezogen, ohne Vorwarnung, punkt Schluss. Zur Rezeption führen Treppenstufen, da schleppt man die Koffer hoch - nur um dann zu erfahren, dass man sie wieder runtertragen darf zum Lift; oben angekommen, wieder Treppenstufen - für nicht ganz junge Leute und mit schweren Koffern ein Problem. - Insgesamt ein unerfreuliches Erlebnis, der Kunde ist der Bettler hier. Nie mehr wieder... - es gibt genug kundenfreundliche gute Hotels in Wien.

Sehr geehrte Bettina,Sie hatten 2 einzelne Buchungen in 2 unterschiedlichen Zimmerkategorien. Unser Hotel war ausgebucht (es gibt durchaus Gäste, die unser Service schätzen). Daraus ergab sich, dass Sie Zimmer wechseln mussten - Sie wurden bereits beim Check in noch einmal darauf hingewiesen, und gebeten, sich an der Rezeption zu melden, für den Zimmerwechsel, was Sie nicht gemacht haben, stattdessen wurden dann unser Lehrling und unser FO-Manager angebrüllt, was wir unmöglich und unzumutbar finden. Got potential, but won’t stay there again
Great hotel with potential, but hotel is not catering for hotel guests well. They are very focused on dining guests from the street. If you don’t have a reservation you can’t sit in the downstairs area. They miss a lounge area for the guests of the hotel. The menu are very specialised for dining guests. Not a great breakfast place for hotel guests. A shame as it’s got a lovely atmosphere. Hotel rooms wasn’t insulated well so got woken by babies crying in other room etc
