The lady that checked us in was incredibly helpful and nice. Breakfast was great. My room was great but my moms had a strange layout to her bathroom. When she was sitting on the toilet the sink would stick out into her stomach. Very clean. Windows can be opened. There is a kettle, sugar and milk but no teabags. Extra pillow and blanket in the closet. Would stay again.

Lovely little gem of a place
Very welcoming and supportive friendly staff! Although the corridor to the room was very narrow, the room itself was lovely. Small room but all the space and facilities one person needs. Super comfortable bed, very clean, bright. Convenient location from train station (only 20min walk from Gare du Nord), and easy walk into busy/tourist areas and food outlets. As a solo traveller I felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would consider staying here again if I were to visit Paris again.

Excellent staff and customer service
Super friendly staff. Really helpful and informative. Helped me a lot when I had to store my luggage at the hotel until the evening the day I check out. Room is small especially the toilet, but clean and can’t complain with the location (3mins walk from metro station) and the pricing. One thing to noted, the room window is facing to the street and it might be a bit noisy in the early morning when people walked past and vehicles driving past Overall it was a hotel with good service I felt welcome.

Great stay
Excellent service, very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice area, felt safe at all times, and several great lunch and dinner places nearby as well as som bars. Might be slightly noisy Friday and Saturday night for some if you like sleeping with an open window, but this was not a problem for us.

Pretty good location. Staff were friendly. But here are a couple major issues. The room felt like 80 degrees, in cold fall weather. The bed covers are very thick. The guests cannot control the temperature on the thermostat. I sweat through two nights of no sleep. After the first night I mentioned this to staff, who said they will happily set the desired temp. “Just call us next time” Well, at 1 am the next night , we were hot and sweating, again. I was in no mood to make an international call to set the thermostat. I was also half naked and didn’t want to dress up to go down to reception desk! The other basic thing that was not satisfied was the broken safe. I believe this was mentioned in a prior review, also. I mentioned that to the staff *twice, and nothing was ever done. I would sadly probably avoid this hotel in the future, since I couldn’t sleep.

Hôtel avec personnel agréable
Hôtel bien placé, chambre spacieuse, literie confortable. Insonorisation moyenne : on entend la rue et les voisins. La douche est moyennement fonctionnelle (l’eau passe en dessous de la porte de douche car pas de joints ou d’étanchéité). Niveau équipements c’est le minimum… Mais, le personnel est très sympa et super disponible, donc ça compense pour les petits défauts matériels !

This hotel is close to many restaurants and cafes and within walking distance of Gare de l’Est if you just have carryon luggage. Only negative is they give you one key card so if one person goes out with the card, you have no electricity- could have asked for a second key I guess but only stayed 2 nights.

Before reading my review, I want to level set that I understand this is not a 5 star hotel, but I'm writing this review as an expectation as a more 'budget hotel.' My review is based off what I expect from a ~175ish per night hotel. Overall, I think the hotel is terrible. The room was advertised for 2 people, but my partner and I could barely have 1 of our carry on suit case opened (small suitcase) because of how small the rooms are. And we paid for this room >1 month ago, but still managed to get (what I think) is the worst room (first floor, in front of a busy street and in front of the elevator)...which was upsetting. When I requested for 2 extra pillows, the hotel wasn't sure if they could even accommodate this request. The AC didn't work that well...it had a 'please clean filter' warning and I couldn't adjust any settings. The bathroom window is leveled right next to the toliet...and the window faced the street...basically no privacy, I needed to make a makeshift cover. The safe didn't even work. For the hand soap, they had 2 small sample sized 'packets' only good for 2 uses (which is ridiculous). I could go on all day with complaints, but I'll stop there. The only pro is that the staff is really nice. Besides that, I wouldn't recommend this hotel...unless you're traveling with a backpack and want to pay money live in 'prison like' environment.

Wonderful hotel.
I spent three nights here. I would not hesitate to stay again. This hotel is in a nice neighborhood and transportation is good (a Metro station is only two minutes away on foot). My biggest priority when staying somewhere is cleanliness and I encountered no issues here. The staff was cordial and helpful. Paris was in the middle of a heat wave at the time, and if I wanted the thermostat lowered in my room, the clerk at the front desk had to make the change. The one suggestion I would recommend to management is to make the hotel's wireless access secure. It required no password which made me uncomfortable using it. I had to turn on my cellular data to check email and make and receive phone calls. But, overall a great stay!

Nice place to stay. Easy walk from Gare du Nord and Gare du l'Est. Small rooms with thin walls, like all Paris hotels at this price range, and it can be a little noisy on the street down below; but that's to be expected I suppose. Clean rooms, friendly staff, in a nice neighbourhood with plenty of places to eat nearby, and it's just around the corner from Republique Metro station. I'd definitely stay again.

Lorsque je me suis présentée pour le Check-in, la réceptionniste ne trouvait pas ma réservation et m’a priée de repasser. Lorsque je suis revenue quelques heures plus tard, j’ai compris pourquoi elle ne m’avait pas trouvée: ils m’ont placée dans une chambre qu’ils n’avaient visiblement pas l’habitude d’utiliser. J’étais littéralement à 3 mètres de l’accueil, au rez-de-chaussée. J’ai senti un malaise au moment de récupérer la clé. Je me disais que c’était pas super mais que ça irait; je ne suis pas très difficile. Ce que je ne savais pas, c’est qu’il y avait des bars dans la rue. Lorsque je suis retournée à ma chambre pour dormir à 23:00, des dizaines de personnes étaient accoudées à la fenêtre de ma chambre. Zéro intimité. L’enfer. J’avais peur qu’ils devinent ma présence dans la pièce alors je n’ai jamais utilisé l’électricité. Je suis restée dans le noir pour qu’ils me laissent tranquille, sinon je craignais de ne pas pouvoir y dormir. Bonne chance pour vous repérer dans la nuit noire d’une chambre que vous ne connaissez pas…ne serait-ce que pour trouver les WC. J’entendais tout ce que les gens disaient dans la rue, j’avais l’impression qu’ils étaient dans ma chambre. J’ai pleuré car j’avais peur, je ne me sentais pas en sécurité, avais peur d’être importunée ou filmée ou autre. Je me suis réveillée plusieurs fois à cause du bruit et de mes craintes. C’est un détail face à cela, mais il n’y avait pas de sèche-cheveux alors que c’était annoncé. Cet hôtel a gâché mon séjour.

Quick trip to Paris
Great location for hotel in a bustling district with plenty of bars and restaurants. Close to metro. Staff very friendly. Room was compact but all that was required for a few days away. Pillows were sub optimal, didn’t ask for extras so cannot comment if this would have been rectified. Overall a good place to stay and would definitely stay again

Great location really nice neighbourhood with easy access to metro. Small rooms but that’s normal in Paris! Lovely service on reception too. Would stay again
