Villa Scaduto Residence in Baghera is a great choice for families. The family room was clean and spacious, with excellent service from the friendly staff. The highlight was the delicious Italian morning coffee. Highly recommended!

Summer time only?
One of the very few hotels on Bagheria, this foes need so.e major work done it is not a hotel for a winter stay. The hotel is cold and uninviting. We only had hot water one morning.

Non è Possibile prenotare un 4 stelle e ritrovarsi qualcosa di troppo diverso. Una delusione ottimo ed eccezionale 2 stelle o B&B. Ma i 4 stelle sono ben altra cosa.

Buonasera e grazie per aver soggiornato nella nostra struttura, il nostro Residence è una piccola struttura a gestione familiare e mi rendo conto che qualche cliente possa aspettarsi qualcosa di diverso, mi dispiace non averle potuto assegnare una camera migliore di quella in cui ha soggiornato in quanto la struttura era al completo nella data di prenotazione, ci stiamo impegnando comunque al massimo per migliorare i nostri servizi e tutte le nostre camere, momentaneamente siamo riusciti a ristrutturare solamente il piano terra. Prossimamente ci saranno dei grossi cambiamenti, la invitiamo quindi a venirci a trovare nuovamente, grazie e arrivederci.

Una struttura consona.
Le camere della struttura, a mio parere, andrebbero ammodernate e migliorate negli arredi. La colazione è anch'essa migliorabile ma non ho lamentele a riguardo. Personale molto cortese e disponibile pronto a risolvere i piccoli problemi, molto comodo il parcheggio interno per le auto.

Cercheremo di migliorare anche la colazione. La invitiamo a venirci a trovare nuovamente per constatare i miglioramenti che apporteremo alla struttura. The place was OK, friendly staff and excellent dinner. The room was fine however, the shower was simply below standards.

Un peu décevant pour un 4 étoiles!
Ce qui m'a dérangé le plus dans cet hôtel , c'est le manque d'insonorisation : on entend les conversations des chambres d'à côté , les enfants qui hurlent , les déplacements de chaises... Le matin ,il a fallu booster le personnel pour avoir le petit déjeuner , car ils étaient en retard( en train de fumer une cigarette dehors )! Un petit déjeuner un peu décevant ,peu de choix! Cet hôtel vaut peut-être 1 ou 2 étoiles mais surtout pas 4 !!!

Cher clients, merci pour votre recension, nous sommes désolé pour les problèmes d'insonorisation. Les murs de nos chambres ne sont pas fin, mais pendant quelle periode toutes les chambres étaient complet. C'est pour cela que la seul chambre disponible était l'un avec un de ses murs fin. Meilleures salutations.

Personale gentile, camere ampie, con angolo cottura e pulite. Arredamento allegro e confortevole ma non proprio adeguato ad una struttura a 4 stelle. Apprezzato il parcheggio privato e la colazione. Siamo arrivati in questo albergo durante un'insolita nevicata il 31 dicembre ed abbiamo trovato la struttura fredda, in particolare la camera che ha impiegato un giorno per riscaldarsi adeguatamente. La cosa ha un po' influenzato in nostro soggiorno

Unübersichtliches Hotel in der Nähe vom Bahnhof
Das Hotel war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Bei dem Personal kam es darauf an, wer gerade Dienst hatte. Es gab freundliche und weniger freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel liegt ca. 20 min. Fußweg weg vom Meer und ist durch die Nähe am Bahnhof gut gelegen, andere Urlaubsziele zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist etwas einseitig (spartanisch), weil es jeden Morgen das gleiche Angebot gibt. Bei Wünschen ist das Personal dennoch bemüht, diese zu erfüllen.

Strange location
The apartment (with kitchenette) is perhaps a two-star space, with an quirky decor and clean bath. The main room drawback was a TV perched so high that the controller couldn't change channels from the bed. A decent breakfast was included with the usual breads and meats, and cappacinos were freshly made from the bar. For our car there was a walled parking area adjacent to the hotel entry. A good restaurant is a bit of a walk away. Overall the location is the biggest downfall, as stepping outside the hotel brings back a grim reality of urban life.

Für den Preis war das Haus echt in Ordnung. Wofür das Hotel allerdings seine 4 Sterne bekommen hat, kann ich mir nicht erklären.

Gute Lage in Bahnhofsnähe. Zimmer war ruhig.
Gute Lage in Bahnhofsnähe. Nur 10 Minuten mit dem Zug bis Palermo Central. Das Zimmer war ruhig. Die Möblierung etwas oll und überholt. Die Dusche leckte. Es gab eine Kochgelegenheit. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit. Im Hof gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten, die etwas Rangiergeschick erfordern aber machbar sind. Auch auf der Straße gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Frühstück war italienische Mittelklasse. Der Kaffe leider (italienisch unüblich) sehr dünn. Die Klimaanlage lieferte im Winter genügend wärme. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir auch eine weitere Decke.

Vi bokade utifrån att det var fyrstjärnigt och det var långt ifrån fyrstjärnig standard. Det var sunkig inredning, lyhört och dålig frukost. Området kändes otrevligt på kvällen när vi letade restaurang i närheten utan framgång. Positivt var den inhägnade parkeringen.

I orden, men lidt trist.
Venligt personale og et dejligt stort værelse, men med en trist udsigt til nabohusets mur lige overfor. Køkkenkrogen var særdeles sparsomt udstyret. Det generelle indtryk var lidt trist. Dog ok til prisen.

I proprietari sono stati molto gentili. La nostra camera era fornita di tutto, persino di un piccolo angolo cottura, anche se l'arredamento (in realtà di tutto l'albergo) andrebbe rimodernato. Buona la colazione. La posizione dell'albergo è buona per visitare Bagheria. Il museo di Guttuso è a pochi passi. La città ha dei "gioielli" (soprattutto le ville e il museo di Guttuso, appunto) che però, come spesso accade nella nostra Sicilia, non sono ben valorizzati.

Nær Museo Guttuso som var mitt mål.
Hyggelig betjening. Beliggenheten perfekt med tanke på museet ca. 5-10 minutters gangavstand. Fant to trivelige spisesteder like ved. Jernbanestasjonen rett i nærheten, noe som passet med mitt dagsbesøk i Palermo( tok ca. 15 minutter med grei ventetid på togavgangene).

Ugly Neighborhood
We warned the hotel that we would be arriving very late (midnight). They were okay with that. Arriving late in a place you've never been is one thing. No one answering the locked, gated door or intercom is another. We had to find the telephone number and call to get someone to open the gate for us to drive in. So have a phone with you. The place was okay. But the neighborhood was trashy. The staff helped us at every turn - very kind. Thinking of the condition and location - I believe it was overpriced.

Molto delusi da questo hotel: stanza rumorosa, illuminazione da cimitero, manutenzione decadente, servizio lento e inefficiente. Staff gentile, parcheggio utile, ma hotel decisamente non da quattro stelle. Da evitare nel modo più assoluto.

Nice place and excellent price
Very affordable, very nice place in Bagheria, a town about 20-30 minutes drive away from Palermo. A nice alternative to staying in Palermo, Bagheria is friendly town and interesting in its own right. Nothing too exciting, though. It's a bit dirty, but does not feel unsafe, and all our experiences were very friendly. Some excellent food to be had as well, especially the trattoria/pizzaria down the street from Villa Scaduto, right next to the train tracks. Excellent.

Freundlicher Empfang, jedoch eher in der Landessprache italienisch als Englisch. Auch vor der Check-in time war ein Zimmerbezug möglich. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig ausgestattet. Es empfiehlt sich ein zusätzlicher Heizlüfter, da in der kalten Jahreszeit (Dez.-März) über die Klimaanlage (Splitgerät) max. 17 Grad Raumtemperatur erreicht werden. Da hilft nur heiss duschen. Frühstück ausreichend. Zimmerreinigung täglich. Handtücher zahlreich vorhanden. Nette Verabschiedung beim Check-out.

E' un hotel molto adatto a chi viaggia per lavoro. La struttura e il posto non sono granchè. Punti di forza: la pulizia della stanza e la presenza in camera di un angolo cottura.

Hotel comodissimo per raggiungere il centro città anche a piedi, vicino al mare (stupendo con acqua cristallina). Attrazioni artistiche della zona molto vicine, ristoranti e pizzerie a non più di 5 minuti di auto, raggiungibili anche a piedi, serviti con cortesia ed estrema pulizia.

Very Good Hotel
The ambience was very good. Personnel were very helpful and caring. Pia helped us with our train travel and plans to see Palermo and Ramona made great cappuchinos in the morning. Location is near train for travel to Palermo or Cefalu for day excursions by train. Good restaurants nearby and Aspra(waterfront area) very accessible by car or a long walk. Would recommend highly if you want to be near Palermo and access it by train.
