Koh Samui - Awesome
great place but it lacked fits and fittings, lots of damages and no repairs probably COVID could be the reason. No excuses required but standard need to be retained. Yes I did extended my stay but it was for the Island, amazing place and was painful to leave.

This resort is old and need a lot of TLC. The only think I liked about the hotel was the location and the female reception (don’t know her name) but she wears red lipstick. To make a long story short, this was the last city my friends and I visited. I booked 2 rooms for 10-12 June. We had to change rooms TWICE because one room smelled like a dead animal. The other room the maintenance guys took the room over for hours to make repairs to next room. The hotel manager had us waiting for hours just to change rooms and he really did not know what to do. According to the manager, the owner only wanted to give us lunch to try to keep us calm because they wanted a good review.. We later learned the entire hotel had NO HOT WATER and a couple of the rooms have NO AC. The beds were very, very firm. The so-called restaurant served overcooked and terrible food. The food was better at Waterline Restaurant. The hotel rates are well overpriced and they are not willing to accommodate guests by making necessary repairs before guests arrives. This hotel is not worth the money at all. Actually this hotel cost more than the other 2 hotels we stayed at in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. We had a much better experiences and the buffets were delicious. You did nothing to make sure we had a good experience in Koh Samui but take our money. Therefore I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever stay at this hotel again. I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sehr tolles Hotel
Wir hatten 2 Zimmer mit Meerblick für 4 Nächte. Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere und Grüße Zimmer. Beim Frühstück gibts eine sehr große Auswahl. Schöner Pool und Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Right on the beach. I changed to a beach facing room as the first room they put me in was on the street side with lots of traffic noise

Noisy place to be, wrong pictures
The hotel is situated on a very busy and noisy street. The main pictures were those of a swimming pool that is not accessible (only for suites). The staff is rude. Breakfast to improve. The beach was rather dirty with very shallow water. Fountains were out of order with Brown water and algae. What a shame...

Hotel just out of the hustle & bustle of Lamai
SB is located within walking distance to the centre of Lamai on the beach. The hotel is clean & staff are very friendly. I was upgraded to an executive suite which was very spacious & would be great if traveling with children. This room also has access to a private pool. The beds were very hard & staff did add a topper on the bed to make this more bearable. The rooms are dark & hv a musky smell. There had been a lot of rain & no doubt this caused the smell. Overall the hotel was good but could be improved with maintenance to the building to make it better. I like staying in this location & there are plenty of taxis & shuttles passing by to go to chaweng or Lamai if you don't feel like walking.

Het bed was ontzettend hard. Vooral als je ook nog eens verbrand is kom je de nacht niet goed door. Ontbijt was niet veel bijzonders, maar voor 2 nachten een prima verblijf.

Très bon hôtel, bien placé à la sorti du village donc pas trop de bruit la nuits. Le personnel est vraiment au top, à nos petit soins. Le petit déjeune est complet et bon. La chambre est spacieuse et très propres ainsi que tout l hôtel. Ils ont également un service qui vous propose des visites de l'ile. Je recommande.

Beutiful hotel could do with a little updating but this was happening as i was there. Had own private pool villa which was nice. Staff didnt understand english very well and service was a little hit and miss. Overall i would definately recommend this place for a quiet relaxed atmosphere.

Besuch bei Freunden auf Samui. Gut gelegenes Hotel um in alle Richtungen Samui zu erkunden. Obwohl direkt am Meer kann man es nicht als Strandhotel bezeichnen. Hotel ist unter neuer Führung, ist auf dem besten Weg wieder richtig gut zu werden. Frühstück ist verbesserungsfähig....

No charm and not comfortable.
After paying extra for a sea view room, we were shown our rooms. Upon entering the rooms, there was a damp smell. They had a poor corner view of the ocean and we were told that we had to pay even more extra if we wanted a 'deluxe' sea view room. The rooms were minimally furnished lacking in an sense of charm. Upon trying the bed, the mattress was extremely hard, like lying on wood. Later after complaining, the staff came up with an extra mattress that they placed on the bed to soften the experience. It didn't really fit, but it made it more comfortable.

Отель по тайским меркам хороший! Но! Номер, без вида на бассейн или море, выходит на улицу с очень оживленным движением! Спать от этого шума не могли три ночи! Поменять номер возможно было только с доплатой! Так как пометки на сайте о выходящими окнами на трассу не было, менеджер поменяла нам бесплатно, что было очень приятно! В баре коктейли делать не умеют, кухня не вкусная, хоть и есть школа от шеф повара. Завтрак обычный. Обед и ужин рекомендую в недорогом ресте HUT недалеко от отеля.

Was fairly disappointed in our stay as we had about 15 chinese tourists in the room next to ours constantly smoking. Our room smelt like a smoke house and we had to move. Not once were they asked to stop smoking in the rooms even though there are multiple signs in each room saying no smoking fines apply. Food at the restaurant was very disappointing and it always felt like the staff thought the guests were an inconvenience. Location is good and there are some good restaurants at other hotels nearby.

Enjoyed our stay however not the best value for mo
Wonderfully located on lamai beach (although you need to walk up the beach a bit if you want to swim in the sea). Nice pool and outdoor area with beautiful plants. Rooms were not like the photos online (photos must be from when brand new,which it is definitely not now!). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made it a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was nothing special. Considering the hotel was quite empty we we're disappointed not to be moved into a different room on request as the road is very noisy (would not recommend the cheapest rooms on the road side). Overall we really enjoyed our three night stay here however we feel it was probably not the best value for money.

worst hotel I've ever had the mispleasure to stay in anywhere in the world. No swimmable beach despite misleading pictures. No water the swimming pool. Staff were horrible no understanding of customer service whatsoever. Finally bed was like sleeping on a bed of bricks.

Leuk hotel in een rustige omgeving
Mooi hotel waarbij je waar voor je geld krijgt. Het hotel is rustig gelegen met een gezellige uitstraling. Ontzettend behulpzaam personeel ondanks dat ze niet allemaal heel goed Engels kunnen spreken doen ze toch alle moeite voor je. Mocht je excursies willen boeken kan dit in het hotel. Je betaalt iets meer, maar je krijgt er veel service voor terug.

OK hotel if you are taking the delux room Nice view abd not in the middle of the mess of Lamai The traffic from the road can be a little disturbing if you are in the room Breakfast ok but nothing special Pool ok and close to the ocean We tried ordering food at the resturant but two days without prawns and then we went elsewere 15min walk to Lamai

Vastaanoton henkilökunta hoiteli jopa kadulla jalkansa ruhjoneen turistin ensiavun ja lääkinnän hymyssä suin ja he huolehtivat voinnin tarkistamisesta vielä myöhemminkin. Ravintolan ruokalista hyvä, joskin hintava. Annokset näyttäviä. Aamiaistarjoilukin toimi niinä aamuina, kun saman aikaisesti ruokailemassa ei ollut isompaa porukkaa. Iso, merinäköalalla (ja altaalle päin) oleva huone oli myös öiseen aikaan hiljainen, tilanne on tuskin sama vilkkaan kadun suuuntaisissa huoneissa. Huoneissa isot parvekkeet. Allas-alue päivisin rauhallinen, eikä hotellin rannassa läpikulkua päättyvän ranta-alueen vuoksi. Varsinaista hiekkarantaa hotellilla ei ole, mutta tukevat portaat rantaveteen hotellin allas-alueelta ajoi lähes saman asian. Myös isommalle hiekkarannalle kävelet n. kymmenessä minuutissa. Kaupat (2kpl) vieressä, ravintoloihin ja ostoksille n. 10-20 min. kävelymatka. Lavataksit ja taksit kulkevat hotellin edustalla kuitenkin lähes nonstoppina.

Det var et skuffende møte med dette hotellet. Flere km. fra nærmeste tettsted, ingen restauranter i nærheten og den private stranden viste seg å være en fiskebåthavn. Den var steinete og langgrunt. Måtte gå flere hundre meter før leggene ble våte. Kl. 22.30 om kvelden ble alt lys på stranden slukket. Dårlige spisemuligheter og personalet var lite imøtekommende.

probably used to be great
only stayed here b/c we got a good rate and the place looked luxurious from outside. inside has all the trappings of a great hotel, but the little things let it down. the hot tub bubbles don't work. the beds are rock hard. the floors are cracked. everything just felt dilapidated, a hanger actually fell apart in my hands. at one time, probably 10 years ago, i'm sure this hotel was stellar. now, not so much.

Déçus! Il y a mieux à proximité pour le mm budget!
- Chambres (Maya Pool) : Moyen. Malgré notre surclassement par rapport aux chambres Deluxe, nous avons été déçus. Nous nous attendions à retrouver le standing d'un 4 étoiles, or cela correspond plutôt à un 3 étoiles assez moyen. Chambres assez grandes mais vieillissantes, au niveau de la déco comme de la propreté. - Equipements : Moyen. Piscine assez petite. Manque d'activités : manque une salle de sport, ou au moins une table de ping-pong… Point positif : les chambres Maya Pool que nous avions donnent accès à une petite piscine privée, à laquelle seules quelques chambres ont accès. - Personnel : Très bien. Souriant et serviable. - Petit-déj : Moyen. Pas énormément de choix, surtout quand on préfère le sucré… Pas de chocolat chaud. - Situation géo : Assez bien. Accès direct à la mer même si le peu de plage à cet endroit n'est pas terrible. Situé à la sortie de Lamai, donc si vous voulez aller souvent dans la rue principale cela réclamera pas mal de marche ou de trajets en songthaew. Nous sommes partis avant la fin de notre réservation car nous étions déçus et avions trouvé bien mieux pour le même budget à proximité.

Förstörde väldigt mycket för oss då de inte fanns någon resturang i området av vårt hotell förutom andra hotellresturanger.. personalen på hotellet va även väldigt otrevliga, ville inte hjälpa till med hur vi skulle ta oss vidare till ön koh tao så vi fick åka med en taxi och betala väldigt mycket överpris tråkigt nog..fick även rummet vid vägen där de körde bilar och mopeder dygnet runt,va väldigt lyhört så svårt att sova på natten..om du ska åka på en "relaxing" semester rekommenderas detta.annars, hitta ett annat boende..

Vi bodde i deluxerum med havsutsikt. Mysigt och med en underbar utsikt, stort och fint rum. En bit till centrum men för 50bath per person så kunde man hoppa på en "tuktuk" och åka in. Ville man gå tog det ca 20 min.

Mukava hotelli, ystävällinen henkilökunta, paitsi yksi nainen joka vei meidät huoneeseemme oli kylläkin tylyhkö ja näytti olevan hieman kyllästynyt turisteihin ja muistutti kolmesti kuinka uloskirjaus aika on sitten kello 12...Muuten kylläkin henkilökunta todella mukavaa, myös ravintolassa. Uima-allas alue on loistava ja puhdas. Olimme täällä kolme ensimmäistä yötä mutta mielellämme vaihdoimme hotellia enemmän Lamai beachin keskustaan päin koska hotelli on "sivussa" jos kaipaa sitä että kaikki ravintolat kaupat yms on lähellä. Hotellin ranta on suoraan kalastajaveneiden edessä eikä ole oikein uimakunnossa. Rantaa pitkin piti kävellä n. 10 min jotta pääsi kunnon hiekkarannalle. Gekkoja vilisi pitkin käytäviä iltaisin mutta niinhän Thaimaassa joka paikassa. Viimeisenä iltana suihkusta ei tullut kuin kuumaa vettä, huoltomies tuli korjaamaan vikaa mutta ei saanut sitä sen illan aikana kuntoon. Saimme käyttää toisen huoneen suihkua. Emme saaneet tästä mitään hyvitystä, esimerkiksi minibaarista vesiä tms. joka olisi ollut mukava ele. Kaksi pulloa vettä (nimenomaan lasipullossa) kuuluu veloituksetta päivittäin. Huoneemme oli kadulle päin, liikenteen melua kuului mutta ei se meitä haitannut. Buffet aamiainen hyvä!

Very beautifull hotel. Wonderful pool and nicely located on the beach. Price is really good for what you get.
