This was the perfect place to spend an alone weekend for my husband and I. We wanted a quiet weekend away from our kids to relax and recharge. And Pier House was just that. We stayed in the oceanfront suite which we absolutely loved. The view was breathtaking. The restaurant, bar, pool and beach were only steps away from us. The sunset view from our balcony was as absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean as we enjoyed our coffee, was so delightful. We highly recommend this resort. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Don’t plan on taking a nap during the day don’t go to bed early . Loud noise up tell 11 pm

We go to Key West often. Have never stayed at the Pier House before but wanted to check it out. Rhe staff at the front desk were great. We weren't happy with the original room we were given but then went out of their way to show us other options. Tje grounds are nice and it’s great that they have their own private beach on site.

Have stayed at Pier House four times over the past eight years. Property is feeling a little tired - in need of sprucing up. Staff are still good but attentiveness has gone down - particularly at front desk. Bar staff were still terrific.

I highly recommend this resort. The pool attendants could have been nicer. I actually had one guy make me carry the towels to our chairs and put the white covers on them myself. The bartenders were less than friendly and I even had to ask the guy if I could order a drink as he was chatting it up with his coworker. I will definitely stay again though as the place was clean and nice and very conveniently located to all the shopping/restaurants.

The Pier house was in the perfect location. It was walking distance to everything. The rooms were big and beautiful with a huge veranda. It was very clean and the best part was the small beachfront wich most hotels dont have in the keys. I would reccomend this property to everyone.

Our first room #187 was so loud next to the lounge it was ridiculous…went to front desk and asked to be moved and was moved to #614. This was an amazing room..made our trip! Thanks for making our vacation memorable!

Overall the location is top notch. The price we paid on Expedia was very inflated compared with the hotel price and they were unwilling to budge or accommodate in any way. The room was basic. The staff were very friendly.

Amazing property beach is the best in key west staff is friendly and helpful food was a little high $ but great and staff and service was so good it made up for that

The only thing that I didn’t like was our building had no elevator. Nice rooms excellent place to stay

For a larger spa hotel experience while still being in Old Town Key West, the Pier House can't be beat. They keep their small private beach fairly clear of seaweed, which is awesome. Pool in the winter was nicely heated. Great dining with a water view. Housekeepers were unobtrusive and did a great job. We really enjoyed our stay. Top thing I'd change: personally I don't care for Molton Brown toiletries because their fragrances trigger allergic reaction for me.

The rooms are old and noisy! If you book through Expedia and take the standard room , they are dark, noisy, bad views , near compressors and generators ….. plumbing is loud, a/c units are so loud I had to unplug it because I couldn’t control the fan and temp. If you book through a 3rd party the staff will not upgrade you and Expedia does not answer the phone !

Rooms need updating. Water pressure in bathroom sink wouldn’t wash toothpaste down. Property location is excellent. Beach/sunbathing areas very nice. Our waitress/bar order delivery “gal” Linda is excellent ;so personable, friendly, helpful. She deserves a huge applause. Looking forward to my stay next year

The place could use a fresh coat of paint, and some more lights in the hallways. Restaurant was closed on Mon & Tue. Over all ok but not worth the amount they charge to stay a night.

The staff were great . The bed felt like we were sleeping on a box spring . The vent in the bathroom was very noisy and loud. The food was good, but very limited selection.

Nice hotel but VERY overpriced. Rooms are small and I wish they had a decent hairdryer in the room.
