Convenient location a few minutes from beach, Sunrise Blvd., and other points. I booked on Expedia because the room was clearly listed at 797 square feet, and I was looking for a larger rental. Hotel told me to check in at the office at 3 P. M. with photo ID. Thirty minutes before check-in, hotel emailed a door keybox code to release my keycard and access the room. The office was closed when I arrived at 3, no staff on site, despite the "in-person" check-in plan. When I entered the room, I realized it was NOT the one I reserved on Expedia (not like the photos and only a little more than half the size of the 797-square foot unit I paid for). Another couple arrived the same time I did and had similar experience. We all tried phoning the number posted on the office door multiple times, and no one answered. I left emails, texts, and message on the hotel's website.... no response. Contacted Expedia, who said the hotel was not responding to its inquiries. Realizing I paid for a room not the one I'd been assigned, but that it was now dark and getting late, I re-entered the room, put my own sheet on the sofa, and slept there until the office would open the next morning. When someone came at 10:30 A. M. the next day, I was told the Expedia information was incorrect. In fact, there are no rooms 797 s.f. (they're all about half that). Switched to an upstairs room and accepted a $100 refund. I see Expedia room info is still incorrect as I write this.
