the worst housekeeping service
During my 5 night stay, my room was never cleaned despite calling the housekeeping three times for assistance. The lack of service made my stay incredibly uncomfortable.

Was here Thursday-Wednesday. Did not see housekeeping Monday or Tuesday. Had to call for towel service Tuesday night. When you have multiple conferences at the same time you should have all of your elevators operational at the same time. Elevator waits were at least 15-20 for 4/6 days we were there. Also, no late check out option. Las Vegas, of all places should have this option.

They gave me a room that was overdue for being updated. Like the desk was worn out and damaged. My first room is smell like rotten eggs I asked to switch the room they did that for me. It was a little bit better. But I didn’t like the fact that there was no coffee maker, my first day there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathtub The worst part was there was no lamp in between the two beds on the nightstand, and I couldn’t even plug-in my plugs to charge my phone, my watch and AirPods. The lamp in the corner wasn’t even turning on because it was not plugged in and the power bar wasn’t working properly it was very disappointed. 😔

Unfriendly staff. I booked through Expedia, they did not want to honor the room I had booked stating that when you book through Expedia for them it is only a “suggestion” of the room type. Second, it is a very old property and it shows. The lobby, the restaurants have seen better times. If you want to visit the Convention Center, it has a convinient location, if not, it is far away from everything and not in a pretty area.

It was a near everything and it was clean and had plenty of eating options. Just hate it didn’t have a microwave.

Elevators on the property were a disaster to get to your room or to get to lobby. We booked thru Expedia and they charged us resort fees 45.00 a day, this should have been included in our charges when we booked the room.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of my room. When I checked into my room, there was food left in the refrigerator from the previous people who were in the room before me. Also, the shower had very low water pressure & the water never got warmer then tepid. I had to turn on the heater to warm up after my shower.

I remember when this was the Hilton. I was concerned that with the new name that the place might have become downtrodden. It’s a wonderful hotel, especially if you have business at the convention center. Staff was extremely nice. The rooms were very good restaurants in the hotel are very good as well. I will definitely stay here again.

The check in was easy and the room accommodation was excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed when needed. The close proximity to the convention centre is a welcome if you would like to save on transportation costs. The internet servicenos a bit spotty, but for the most part I didnt have much of an issue. On check out, it was super easy and they have 24/07 taxis available whenever you need it.

This was our first trip to Las Vegas so I have no basis for comparison with any other resorts however I found The Westgate to be lacking in some areas. Our room was not clean, there was dirt and hair (gross) on the bench at the end of the bed. In the bathroom there was trash and hair stuck to the wall. The fact that there was no fan in the bathroom was a negative also. House keeping showed up (after we had to call and request them since the didn't clean that day) at 9:30pm. Not everyone in Vegas is there for the nightlife! The food court is a joke, hardly any selection and miserable staff. My wife ordered a rice bowl and got a salad, she complained and they refused to re-make her order, they just gave her a container of plain white rice. I'm quite sure they over charged me for a philly cheese steak sandwich that was not much bigger than a hot dog roll. (was charged $25 for it) While walking through the lobby we were constantly bothered by people wanting to sell us a time share. Annoying to the point we would take the long way around to avoid them. The pool was nice although the spa was down and according to the lifeguard it had been for a while with no estimate of when it would be repaired. We will not be returning to the Westgate, nor will we recommend it to anyone. Do better.

I really enjoyed my stay for it’s connivence to the Convention Center but the customer service is lacking for the front desk.

the place was underconstruction debri was all over the 28 floor cam in the room it looked like we were in the midevil time or hunted house carpet had water damage dirty as hell the place was not supervised yelling screaming like we were at zoo alevater was unsave food on walls dirt and undescribed stuff no matter how I describe I cant say enough I was coughing non stop I couldn't breath all the way down till I got to the receptionist no questions asked changed the room to the opposite wing on the north after I showed all the pictures we took including the big hole on the wall I was scared for my life it was like staying in a hunted hotel from mid evil
